I don't know if he makes them to order or not. I brought in a part of my futon frame that had cracked. He wasn't sure how quickly he would be able to get to it as he had many current projects. After I told him I had family coming to visit and they'd need to sleep on the futon, and he saw that for someone who knows what they're doing it was a very simple repair, he had it done very quickly. The work was expertly done and reasonably priced, and I now recommend this place to anyone who needs furniture repair. A word of warning- if you suffer from asthma, etc., the place is (quite understandably) pretty dusty. They did an incredibly good job redoing our, what appears to me, complicated fabric covered chairs. They even refinished the walnut base and legs, we were not expecting this and at no additional charge. Speaking of charge, it was more than reasonable, the interior design company we had engaged had quoted us more than double what Homan Interiors charged us, using the same material. It was a pleasure talking to the owner, it was obvious he really enjoys bringing these old chairs back to their former glory. That I was not really close enough ( I drive to Cincy all the time). Said he knew someone who fixed wicker but was pretty adamant doesn't strip. Had to ask for the phone number but he gave no name. Even tho he doesn't work on wicker today, I would not consider future business on other furniture after this phone call. First impressions are everything, especially in business.

The two pieces had sustained quite a bit of wear and tear over the years and were in desperate need of attention. I contacted a few furniture restoration shops in the Cincinnati area, but once I met with Joe Naiser, I knew he was the right man for the job. From his initial, detailed assessment of the pieces to his meticulous attention to detail during their restoration, I could tell that Joe knew his stuff. He went out of his way to explain the restoration process and gave me several opportunities to check on the progress of the work. He completely rebuilt the pieces, repairing dents, loose joints, cracks, and uneven doors and drawers. He was even able to match the stain color to my dining room table. The end result is far beyond what I expected, and the pieces are better than new! I made the right choice with Joe Naiser, and he will definitely have my future business!
