I came across cowboy Cody when our washing machine started making a horrible grinding noise. We are handy people, but don't like to mess with things that aren't our specialty so I was perusing the internet for someone who could come out ASAP and fix our washing machine. I texted Cody after business hours and he responded within 30 minutes of my text, asked me what the problem was, and scheduled me an appointment for him to come out within 24 hours! WOW! Now that is customer service. He was prompt, on time, and very professional. He was in and out very quickly and fixed the problem. I would recommend Cody to anyone needing the job done quick and efficiently! He does ask that you pay with cash or check so keep that in mind. Cowboy Cody is a wizard! He came when he said he would to look at my dryer that was not working correctly. Seriously, it took him 2 minutes to completely disassemble my dryer. He fixed what I had messed up when I tried to do the job myself, and then he identified 2 possible issues. When he reassembled the dryer, it was working normally. That surprised both of us. :-) But he then developed a contingency plan for what would need to be replaced if the problem recurred. Like I said, he is a wizard and also a great person. I have a problem with my GE Dishwasher. I called Cody's number. He didn't answer, but called me back within minutes as I was scheduling an appointment on his website. I explained my problem to him over the phone. He told me immediately that GE Dishwashers use software that needs updating to correct this problem, that it required a special tool that repair shops have to get from GE directly, and that the repair would likely be a few hundred dollars. He recommended that I replace my unit since it's 5 years old anyway and told me which brands are the better options and don't use software. He also recommended another shop for me to contact should I prefer to actually repair my current GE unit, which has the tool and can do the job. I was VERY IMPRESSED with Cody's honesty and transparency! He could have kept that information to himself, charged me for a service call and then referred me to someone else after he got paid, and I would never have known any better . . . but HE DIDN'T! I can't speak to the quality of his work yet because I didn't actually hire him. But, I PROMISE YOU that, because of Cody's INTEGRITY, not only will I call him first for any appliance repair needs, but I will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone I know who needs repair work.
