There were a few areas damaged by our drywall installer that Jason fixed without our asking. He made sure of a thorough clean up at the end of each day. Jason was always on time and worked diligently and long hours to finish our large project. He even worked weekends to make sure the job was done in a timely way. He was very work focused every day he was here. This dedication to timeliness and excellence is rare. All the trim and paint look fantastic. It is like a brand new home. The place looks wonderful. It…read moreis a family-owned/run business, with Sam as the owner/project manager and his son and son-in-law doing much of the demo and finishing work along with his daughters in the showroom who helped us pick out our cabinets, countertops, sinks, fixtures and flooring. From the beginning, Sam and his entire staff were honest and helpful with getting us the design that we wanted. We knew what we wanted to do, but not how to configure anything, but Sam was able to envision everything during his appraisal of the job. We knew we wanted new cabinets and countertops in our kitchen and that we wanted to find a way to open the kitchen but just didn't know how. The design that Sam came up with was awesome and made our kitchen feel so much larger. We raised the old 1980s ceiling, which created way more cabinet space, but the design even came with moving appliances that had been in the same place since the house was built and tearing down some walls to make it more open to the dining room and living room. Then he suggested under cabinet lighting and more lighting all over the entire house. The bathroom was the other major renovation for us, and it looks spectacular with the new cabinet/countertop and shower that no longer has a 6-inch drop to get in. We added a shower bench which is awesome and the tile and fixtures are so pretty. Once again, Sam's staff helped us pick out all the cabinets, fixtures, countertops and flooring to go throughout the entire house. There were so many other things done like new baseboards and door trims, removal of popcorn ceiling and replacement of textured ceiling, new lights and ceiling fans, as well as new paint within the entire house. The entire renovation was done with quality workmanship and within the promised 6-week period. It was so nice to have a project manager overseeing all the trades people, such as carpenters, drywall installers, electricians, painters, tilers, glass installers, and plumbers, so that we didn't have to worry about scheduling anything separately. I will start this review by saying I had previously purchased carpet from Carpet Fashion and had a…read moreflawless experience. I had recommended them to several people. When I purchased the carpet and tile, I had paid in FULL because I was confident in there service. I WAS WRONG! I purchased carpet and back splash tile from Carpet Fashion for my new home. My move in was scheduled around when they could deliver the carpet. Had my salesman been honest up front about the time line, I would have been less stressed. I was told the carpet would take 7-10 days to arrive. I was told the carpet was on the way and would be delivered the next day and installed the following day. On the day of the first installation, I got a call that the carpet had been delivered to a flooring store in Georgia. I was not upset as I understood that mistakes happen. I was told the carpet would be delivered the following Tuesday. On that Tuesday, I was told that the carpet arrived and would be installed the next day. The next morning, I get a call that the carpet had NOT arrived and they were not sure where it was. The carpet arrived the next week, and was installed the next day. BUT, remember the carpet supposedly got delivered to the wrong store in Georgia. Well, it was shipped from a supplier in Georgia. I do not believe it was ever delivered to the wrong store. I think it was never ordered. I also bought linear backsplash to be installed by a PROFESSIONAL tile installer. Linear backsplash requires a SKILL to install. When the installer came, he was frustrated that there was demo of an old backsplash. Carpet Fashion charged me for the DEMO so not sure how he did not know. He left his wife and another female to do the Demo. They then sat for 4 hours waiting for him to return. He dropped off drywall that they then very shoddily replaced the drywall they had torn out. The women then began installing the linear tile, however it appeared to me that they did not know what they were doing. I even commented to them that it was crooked. They could not understand English so I used a Google translator. I sent a message to my salesman who literally did nothing about it. The next day, the ladies returned and continued working. After about 3 hours, I told them to stop. It looked like crap. It was wavy and not straight. The "Professional Installer" came and threatened to quit the job. He even offered me money. He said it was "FINE", but he did admit that neither lady had EVER installed tile before let alone backsplash or linear tile. Someone at carpet fashions must have persuaded him to stay. He ended up ripping everything down and re doing it. Now, I can say it looks better but NOT like a Professional did it. To say I am disappointed is a complete understatement. I would never recommend Carpet Fashion to anyone. I would definitely not recommend that installer to anyone. He should NOT be a tile installer and if Carpet Fashion still contracts work to him, they should be completely ashamed of themselves.

Tub was refinished but two small rust spots still remain. We paid $475 for the job. No one else will finish the job because it is too small. David started removing wall paper in the bathroom. (Great job and hard work) but when it came time to finish with painting, we were notified that he would be unable to come back for at least a week for unknown reasons. Three weeks running. So we fired them.
