There were several inspection issues that needed to be addressed. Joe himself answered the company phone number, he came right out with a couple of guys to give us an estimate, and he fit us into his schedule right away. He doesn't use salesmen; he looks at your project and gives you the estimate himself. His quote was very reasonable. He replaced over 100 feet of rotten fascia wood and all the gutters on my son's house. He painted the new wood, added more downspouts, installed new gutters and even painted the downspouts to match the blue siding of the house. I don't even know how he matched the color! In addition to the gutters, he created a new chimney cap that went OVER the siding up the chimney, instead of under, which prevents water from seeping behind the siding and causing rot. He also painted all the thru-roof flashings. We couldn't have been more impressed with the end result. In short, Joe is a good man who does really good work. Capco has an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau, they have been in business for 42 years as of 2025, and they do so much more than roofs and gutters. Mark came across as knowledgeable and an all around good guy. I'm not saying my opinion of him as a person has changed but a year and a half later, we are still struggling with poor quality work. The subcontractor they hired to replace the roof was fine, though they didn't spread the load on the dumpster used for the discarded roofing and cracked my driveway. I let that go. They also didn't replace all the vents - just the roof, even though they knew the vents were most likely the source of the leak. This resulted in the "roof" continuing to leak post replacement and me having to address additional water damage as Armadillo slowly stepped through potential fixes (to save time and money) that didn't ultimately work. In the end, all issues were finally addressed and I had to personally repaint a ceiling. The windows are another story. First, I bought aluminum clad windows that they chose to surround with wood on the exterior, partly eliminating the value of the cladding. One window wasn't installed straight so allowed in air. It actually howled. Since it was in my daughters room, you can only imagine how that went over. Rather than immediately fix it, Mark wanted to bring out the window supplier because he suspected a faulty window. The supplier was able to deduce rather quickly the problem was the install. A couple attempts to fix were required to finally address. But, a year and a half later, the caulk is all pulling away and exposing paths for water. See the pics.

I was a first-time homeowner and fell for the classic "We'll give you a free roof inspection"…read morepitch. I ended up hiring Priority Roofing, a company with hundreds of 5-star Google reviews. What could possibly go wrong? The answer: plenty. My new roof leaked after the very first rain. My insurance adjuster denied the claim because the leak was caused by faulty chimney flashing/shingle installation, making it a workmanship issue that should have been covered under the roofer's warranty. When I contacted Priority Roofing, they flat-out refused to take responsibility. Two employees came out, poured water over the roof for a few minutes, declared everything was fine, and left. Since they refused to honor their warranty, I hired another contractor at my own expense. Sure enough, he found that Priority Roofing's installation was indeed the cause of the leak.
