We kept calling every week to request status and the excuse was always "we are working on it" or they would have questions that unless we called they would not ask, while on the phone. They are so irresponsible we will never request their services again, we felt ripped off completely! To make matters worse, 3 months after filing we receive a letter from the IRS that we needed to re-send a missing form that later we learned this company failed to file, ending up having to pay to file late and penalties. During a professional interaction, my account manager, Chayce Hubbard, asked me whether I "go to church regularly." This question was completely inappropriate, irrelevant to accounting services, and wildly unprofessional. A CPA firm should understand basic professional boundaries. A client's religious beliefs--or lack thereof--have absolutely no place in a financial or business relationship. Being put on the spot with a personal religious question made me feel uncomfortable and undermined my trust in the firm's judgment and professionalism. Clients should never have to wonder whether they're being evaluated, judged, or treated differently based on personal beliefs. This interaction showed a serious lack of awareness and professionalism, and it raises concerns about the firm's culture and training. I would strongly caution others who expect a strictly professional, neutral, and respectful environment.
