So I went here to get my malasma treated The consultation she was very nice very helpful she told me that she was able to treat my condition I explained to her that I had been through a lot recently with heart surgery and that I was on steroids and other medications and she assured me that it was fine She would be able to give me at least a 65% better result so I was like OK they offered 2 payment options One to pay in full or two make 3 separate payments So I paid in full It was supposed to be 3 treatments and between each treatment there was a cream, I used the cream exactly how it was instructed After the 1st treatment I really seen absolutely no results nothing so I told her that I didn't see no results she said she was going to try a stronger laser during the 2nd treatment I told her it was burning I didn't know if it was supposed to feel like that because I've never had laser in before so she told me this is how it's supposed to feel . Nobody's burning you I'm watching . During the treatment when I told her again that it was burning bad she says if you keep complaining "I'm not going to finsh treating you have to believe in it". So I really wanted it taken care of so I was like OK, it's ok maybe this is normal About a week after the 2nd treatment I noticed that it was a lot darker so I went in to show her I didn't know what was going on if it was burnt or the melasma had came to the surface ‍ so she like didn't really give me no answers that day. I go back a week before because it was. I'm supposed to get the 3rd treatment because it was even darker,she's like well maybe it's the sun and I said no because I wear sunglasses, sunscreen and a mask everytime I go out and I hardly ever go out because I'm so high risk because of my complications from my heart surgery. So I tell her I don't think I want the 3rd treatment. She's like "I didn't do anything wrong" I'm like OK well I'm not really blaming you I just don't want to go on with the treatment I told her I would like my money back so she says nobody will give you your money back for something like this "I didn't do nothing wrong" so basically you don't deserve your money back. "I will give you the 3rd payment back if you sign a waiver saying that you will not tell anyone or go on any of these social media sites and say anything negative". Then I will refund one payment and basically your "lucky I'm doing that". I was so tired of going back-and-forth with her, Im very sick an had no energy to pursue a law suit an fight ‍ An it definitely wasn't about money for me im gonna have to probably pay 1000s to fix the damage when I find someone who can fix it. So It was principal not money that couple 100 is absolutely coins. Compared to what I would give to just have my face back where I started before she touched me So i agreed I go to get the refund and she's not there The medical assistant wants me to sign the waiver but there's -$75 missing from the refund so I asked why and she says "that's all that she authorized so that's all she can do" and I need to sign the waiver and I said no I want all my money back for the 3rd treatment that services were not rendered I should have got all of my money back Because I'm really not comfortable paying for a service that messed up my face so I didn't sign the waiver. Called twice to speak with the doctor she did not return my call then I called and she like was disguising her voice it was really weird She finally picks up and doesn't let me say one word she's like "My girl's refunded you to your card I don't know how much they refunded But "WE ARE DONE DON'T HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO DO WITH YOU THERE'S NO MORE PHONE CALLS NO MORE OFFICE VISITS WE DON'T WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO DO WITH IT" In a REALLY NASTY WAY So I checked my card she only refunded for the 3rd treatment an she deducted -$75 for I don't know for what ‍ I would suggest if you need lasering go somewhere else this business has absolutely NO INTEGRITY read more

I did one laser treatment at the facility. Paid for it in full and made a payment of $300 for a future session. Life happens, I got sick. Had to get surgery and have not gone back. Then I got a call from Erin from the spot to tell me about their specials. I reminded her that I have a credit and she said that I could use the credit towards the promotions. I told her I would get back to her. Then I called inquiring about getting a refund. Since the only service I would be interested in at the moment would be lip filler but I can't get it because of braces. So erin informed me that credits are absorbed by the health spot after 6 months. So pretty much this doctor thinks it's okay to keep my money for services not rendered. I asked to have a call back once the front office employee was able to talk to the doctor. I never received a call back I ended up calling back two weeks later and speaking to the Doctor herself. Who pretty much said oh well. I'm not sure how California law works. But I will definitely be looking into this because this is unfair. That doctor did not render any treatment. Went last week for a hydrafacial. Was hoping to get one for acne, but all the add ons (boosters) were expired which is unfortunate. The whole experience was strange and the way the facial was conducted was strange. Next day my skin didn't look great.... Inflamed and red, which is weird because I've had over 50 hydrafacials in my life and that has never happened. The office texted me to check in and see how I was doing the next day and to see if the doctor could contact me. I said sure. I told them my skin was not looking great. They asked me to send a photo so I did...... and never heard back from anyone! I guess unless you say that your skin is amazing post-procedure she doesn't want to talk to you! Not interested in returning. You can find better. Wouldn't recommend. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Mantha and her friendly and professional staff. First, Dr. Mantha has been my doctor for 8 years, and she has been so good at diagnosing and treating various conditions over the years. She is very knowledgeable, professional and communicative. Second, when Dr. Mantha decided to create "Verve Weight Loss and Laser Aesthetics" years ago, in addition to her physician services, I was very excited about this. I decided to first try the IPL laser treatments for removing brown spots from my face, chest, arms and legs. After 3 treatments, most of the spots on those areas had disappeared, and the ones that remained were much lighter in color. I also tried 5 treatments of laser hair removal for my legs, and 75% of the hair is now gone, and the remaining 25% is much thinner and finer. Later, I tried 3 TempSure procedures for my face, and after the 1st treatment, my face already looked smoother, clearer and radiant. After the 2nd and then 3rd treatments, my face had a smoother and tighter texture, in addition to a lessening of fine lines and wrinkles. Today, I decided to try the Juvaderm and Voluma fillers on my face. I was extremely pleased to say the least! Right after the procedure, my cheeks looked slightly lifted, smooth and nicely rounded. In addition the saggy skin around my mouth looked tightened. In addition the deep lines around my mouth had faded dramatically. Dr. Mantha also injected some Botox around the edges of my eyes and on my forehead, and the lines there are hardly visible now. Suffice it to say, my face looks much firmer and supple, and the deep lines around my mouth, eyes and forehead are gone. There are still some fine lines, but those are hardly noticeable. But as time goes by, those will also fade, due to the fillers settling in. Dr. Mantha told me that right after a filler treatment, it can take up to a week to see even better results. I know that if my face looks this good now, I can only imagine how good it will look in a week. I am so excited about the results, and my self esteem has gone up. I finally decided that at my age, I deserve to do something good for myself in the beauty department. At first, I was concerned that the filler procedures might not look natural or look weird. However, these procedures look natural, and even though the shape, tightness and quality of the skin looks much smoother and younger, it does not look overdone and unnatural. I should also share that there is hardly any swelling from the filler treatments, and the pain was minimal during the procedure. Dr. Mantha put a numbing solution on the face before performing the filler treatments, and there was just a little bit of a pin-prick sensation, but really no pain. Even now, it's been about 5 hours after having had this procedure, and the numbing solution has completely worn off; but I don't feel any pain. There is just a tad of swelling, but it's very minimal and not noticeable to anyone but myself. That is normal, and should go away by tomorrow or a couple of days or so. In sum I am so pleased I chose Dr. Mantha to become my primary care physician 8 years ago, and I am even more pleased that she decided to go into the field of aesthetics. She is easy to talk with and has a warm demeanor. She is also highly knowledgeable, intelligent, and professional. In addition she is gorgeous! Her face is strikingly beautiful, and she has a perfect, shapely figure! She is a gifted doctor to the world of physicians, and a brilliant artist to the world of aesthetics. read more

Not really sure how I feel about the service I received. The staff is really pleasant, and the doctor appears to be real caring, but the results I received after my treatments are questionable. I had the PicoSure laser treatment that is supposed to be good for ethic skin types (False) wasn't good for me. The small nail head size marks I had from doing liposuction and fat transfer from the canula used are now quarter size. Dr. Usha states I have hyperpigmentation, and this has not happened in the past 4 years of providing this service. I had my face done as well and nothing has changed. I wanted the dark circles removed from my eyes which now appear to be more prominent. I feel I spent good money on the services and now have to pay to have the huge dark spots I have removed. The doctor gave me beaching cream to use 3 nights a week which have shown no results. Ugh! Help! I should have done my homework before moving forward on this. I can't wear anything sleeveless or even a bikini at this point. Hopefully on my return visit in two months, they'll have options for me. read more
