The waiting room is top notch, the wait time very minimal, the front office staff is friendly , professional, and don't treat you like they're too busy. Brittney is a joy. She is knowledgeable, caring, gentle, and has a warm bubbly personality. So far she helped with some facial dermatitis, did a mole check, and excisions. The mole excision ( needed stitches ) is barely visible. ( I have a nasty scar from another dermatologist.) I sent hubby and son here. They also had a great experience. read more

I love the Derm Bar! This is going to be a long story, so bear with me. I've had issues with rosacea and eczema for years and tried countless treatments, but nothing seemed to work. My regular MD prescribed a topical cream that helped with the flare-ups, flaking, and scaling, though it didn't eliminate or reduce the redness. I was content with the results until I lost the cream during a vacation. When I returned, my face was extremely itchy and almost purple. My doctor prescribed the cream again, and I was ready to fix the issue. Around the same time, my kids needed to see a dermatologist for their warts, which is how I discovered The Derm Bar. When Britney was helping my kids, she noticed my face and immediately wanted to help. She asked about my current treatment, not in a pushy way, but out of genuine concern. It turned out that the cream my doctor prescribed was a steroid, which had long-term repercussions and had caused my face to become dependent on it, hence the flare up when I lost it. Britney advised me to wean off the steroid and scheduled an appointment for me. She put me on a regimen of morning and evening creams and some medications to restore my skin's health. After a few weeks, my skin had significantly improved with just the creams--no more flakiness, itchiness, scaling, or burning. Britney also recommended a laser treatment, which has noticeably reduced the redness. The red nodules near my nostrils disappeared with just one zap. I'll be posting some pictures to show my progress. I can't express how wonderful my experience has been. The office and staff are incredibly friendly and great. Thanks to their services, I can now walk outside with just a tinted moisturizer and not feel embarrassed. It's truly been a life changer. read more

Service was impeccable; They listen to your concerns, provide feedback/suggestions and they figure out solutions to help you get better! They're definitely NOT one of those places where you see a medical professional for 5 mins and they kick you out right after.(Especially the kind where you wait an hr after your appointed time). I came in early at The DermBar and they even checked me in early. I love that they are super efficient and genuinely care about their clients. First of all, this is the cutest derm office I've ever visited. The front receptionist, Marleen, was super friendly and helpful upon my arrival. I met with Britney for concerns regarding a cystic pimple and I wanted her recommendations on how to treat it. We discussed my health history, what I wanted to get out of my visit, and she provided great patient education to make me comfortable throughout my visit. We agreed on a cortisone injection as it was best suited for my concern. She did not prescribe me a ton of medications as typical derms do. I first came in contact with Britney Kaufman MPA (one of the new owners of Dermbar) at a dermatology center in upland. I have been a client of hers for 10 years now and I truly feel like every time I see her she does something wonder to improve my appearance and as well save my life. When I first met Britney she was an very outgoing and happy person who absolutely loves what she does to help people. I am beyond grateful and relieved to have found this amazing place! I came here after experiencing an awful and pretty traumatic appointment at a "traditional dermatology office". Within a 10 minute appointment, I was told a mole in my face was possibly pre-skin cancer and had it biopsied without much of an explanation, or concern from the provider. Thank goodness it wasn't pre-cancer and needless to say I will never be going back there again. My experience at The DermBar was literally heaven sent! Walking into the lobby you can instantly feel the welcoming and warm environment. The office is so modern and beautiful, nothing compared to the cold and stale place I was going to. Brynn is so knowledgeable and took her time explaining everything to me! I can't wait to go back and start on my facial care. She was so attentive and quickly put my heart at ease! Britney is literally a breath of fresh air! I wasn't scheduled to see her, but she still came in and introduced herself. All I have to say is, WOW! She's so honest, passionate about what she does and the absolute sweetest! She looked at my biopsy scar and made recommendations to help with the healing. I've been a patient of Britney's for a few years now, so I was happy to find out about her new location. First off, the office itself is GORGEOUS and CLEAN. The attention to detail is extremely obvious; everything from the lighting and furniture down to the countertop signs coordinate and flow with one another. The front desk and waiting room area feel open, welcoming, and relaxing, and the patient rooms are bright, airy and clean. I love how this office offers a complete opposite ambiance from a typical (cold and dingy) medical office. The check-in process is seamless as well. I was able to complete new patient documents on an app prior to my appointment, and the portal itself is clear and easy to navigate. During my appointment, Britney offered the same superior bedside manner and care that I received in the past (and that keeps me a returning patient). Because I am currently pregnant, Britney was extra careful to discuss my treatment in full detail, which I greatly appreciate. I think another great part about this office is the full list of cosmetic services that are offered here. So, so happy I found the best derm I've ever had. Met the whole staff, who each has something different and great to offer at their great new place (upstairs, btw). Britany is the best at making you feel soo comfortable with any issue you may have (TMI but may be helpful to someone else..if you have an issue in an embarrassing or private place...you won't feel the least bit uncomfortable when she treats it like you're just getting some completely normal thing treated). Although they don't take my HMO, I'm never going anywhere else. They are all worth the expense in helping me get my self-esteem back. Don't hesitate if you're on the fence. read more

I found this place on IG and scheduled an appointment based on their advertisement of $3.50 per unit for dysport. When I met with the injector she stated that the ad was incorrect and the price was actually $10.50 per unit, but wait it gets better, each unit is actually 2-3 units so it adds up to $10 dollars. The injector goes on to say that Dysport uses more units than Botox, which is true, but still doesn't clarify the misleading false advertising. The ad clearly stated $3.50 per unit. I took a day off to go to my appointment today and it was a huge waste of time. The injector also did a lousy job of explaining herself, and at times was a bit insulting saying that she didn't want clients who want to pay $3.50 a unit and that she wouldn't be offended if I left. Omg what a joke! It could've been handled differently. Too many med spas out there that are wanting to make a quick buck and forget about their integrity and the client. read more

Brynn is the lady that does them. She is fabulous! Since day one she has been extremely knowledgeable and knows exactly how to do a proper lymphatic massage. She is always willing to answer all my questions and give me at home after care advice. There are many untrained people out there and she is NOT one of them.
