I was called by my tenants to look at what you had built. You used untreated 2x4s that are not suitable for an outside deck. Nor would a 2x4 pass building code for this project making it impossible for my homeowner's insurance to accept it. It did not appear the deck had been started by a skilled contractor. It was definitely the wrong materials and was not square or level.

He showed up the scheduled day and spent time and all that was complete was two crown molding (as pictured) as he stated he cut one too short (which he reimbursed me for) and would have to finish the next day as he didn't have the correct tool with him to cut the crown molding correctly. He stated he would come back the next morning but when that morning came he text me and stated he couldn't do the project due to the plumbing which was their when he did the estimate and also when he came on the first day as I stated when he came he could've worked around it and not touched any of those fixtures at all (if you saw the project and estimated the project, why is it that you can't do it because nothing changed from the time you saw it to the time you started). You took a spot from a company that could've got the job done and it wasn't because of your quote but because we try to support up and coming businesses. Well I guess we all learn from mistakes and this one will definitely be the last as I will definitely stick with named companies to do my projects. They're apparently based out of North Carolina...so that's a bit disappointing. The guys showed up bright and early this morning and told me they were going to pick up 5 items (it was supposed to be 6) and this was the first indication of trouble ahead. The person that seemed in charge this morning didn't think his truck could get down the lane due to tree limbs and hanging telephone lines which is understandable, safety first right? So we walked down to the box truck (exactly the same size and design as the trucks that delivered our stuff in the first place, what a coincidence!) and I noticed that one lane was completely passible, but he said he couldn't bring the truck down and his boss was trying to call me. His boss (in North Carolina) asked me if there was a U-Haul nearby, so that I could rent a truck to ferry the furniture and appliances from the house to the truck. I replied that I wasn't aware of a U-Haul anywhere nearby. And as the appliances were upright full sized refrigerators, I didn't think that was going to be doable, and might remove the need for the big truck in the first place, so I told him that I didn't think we could do business. So his guys left. Hope they had a great breakfast. Too bad they didn't have a smaller box van with a lift gate, and too bad the men that showed up had a Can Don't attitude. As no money was exchanged there's no harm, no foul, but I have been hearing about this all day from my wife...oh well, I'll know better next time.

I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with All My Sons Moving Company…read more They arrived three hours late without proper communication. While packing up my old apartment, they broke the living room light fixture and did not fix it or take responsibility. When we arrived at my new place, I was suddenly told I would be charged $1,000 for only eight items. This was never clearly communicated beforehand. I felt like I had no choice but to pay because they were essentially holding my belongings hostage until payment was made. It only got worse from there. When unloading, they told me one of the dressers was "too heavy" and that I would need to unload it and bring everything inside myself because they weren't going to do it. I paid a moving company to move my belongings -- not to do the labor myself. Once everything was inside, I discovered: * My dining room chair was completely broken and unusable * My couch had two holes in it * One of my dressers had a front leg completely snapped off They didn't offer to pay for any of the damage just said they would contact the workers and get back with me. They claimed the dresser was already damaged when they arrived, which is absolutely untrue. I have pictures proving it was not damaged beforehand. I contacted their supervisor as instructed and sent photos. He was no help at all and simply responded with "sorry" while insisting I had been told the pricing -- which I was not. The entire interaction felt dismissive and incredibly unprofessional. This company was late, damaged my property, overcharged me without proper communication, and refused to take accountability. I am highly disappointed and extremely frustrated with how this company is managed. I strongly recommend choosing another moving company.

Now they are saying they may not be able to do the move. Since they confirmed they could do the move, we transferred our electricity to the house we just bought. So the electricity turns off. Today. I've been on hold for 13 minutes.... I'm so disappointed and annoyed.
