House painting is more than cosmetic, primer and paint protects siding in particular from damage…read more I have older siding, some of which was replaced due to water damage, I wanted to protect what was remaining. The Gonzalez contract stated scraping of old paint is included, but the team refused to scrape paint off my siding saying they don't do that. I brought it up with the foreman multiple times. Well, most of the exterior of my house is siding, so I would never have signed the contract if that was stated at the outset. See the attached photo for how they just spray paint over peeling paint. I called the owner and left a message but there was no return call. I won't get into other issues, but for this reason alone, I am giving 1 star.

THE BEST! Came to 4A Drywall again for help. We had placed…read moreterrible "soundproof" foam on our walls which led to a huge disaster I'll post before and after photos. I remembered how great of an experience I had two years ago and hoped I could get him to come back. I've had other painters come in between those years due to 4A being booked on the days I needed. All of those times, I felt a weird feeling in my gut or the other painters just didn't do a good job. This time, I was PRAYING I could get 4A to come in so I didn't have to bring someone else, lol. Luckily, he was able to come the next day (a Saturday morning on his wife's birthday!!) to give me a quote. He then came the following week to remove the foam and paint. Reliable, insanely well mannered, respectful, clean, and of course, great skills-- above and beyond. I cannot say that enough. Last time, he painted more than he needed because he saw what other painters have done. This time, not only did he remove the horrible sticky foam and painted the room beautifully, he also reinstalled hooks that were basically falling off and loose. He was able to finish the job on all walls in one day. This is the only company I would go to. I highly recommend!
