Finally tried this place to grab a few smoothies. Parking in the area is scarce, and lots of double parked cars, but near the F train. Interior is pretty big with lots of seating, but we took ours to go. Lines are very organized to have a "pick-up order" line and "order here" line. It's very organized, but we used the kiosk to order and that was pretty quick and seamless. It was pretty busy on a Sunday morning and our 3 smoothies ready within 10 mins. Only downside is that I wish there were more smoothie options and variety. Lots of fresh juices, salads and ready made options in their fridge to pick and go. I came in with virtually no wait on line, there was only a delivery person picking up orders to go but otherwise, no one on line. It took the staff 5 minutes to acknowledge me and then I ordered an acai bowl. I figured since they took 5 minutes to even notice me in front of them while I assume they were handling and preparing other orders - that they wouldn't take too long to get my bowl ready. I was asked if I wanted it to go or to stay? Uhh, if I wanted it to eat in, I would've sat down for service. I don't know why they had to ask for my name either since I wasn't going anywhere right in front of them and there was literally nobody else in the store. Sadly, I had to wait another 10 minutes for it to be ready and then to which one of them asked me if I wanted it in a bag, as if I was going to just hold the bowl to go in my hands. I also ordered the sweet potato fries the fries were good with the exception that there leave skin on them which makes it hard to truly enjoy because the skin taste hard and almost inedible. I ordered the peanut butter joy smoothie (a bit too sweet for me) but it was good. Overall the most expensive part (the burger) was more than I hoped for. I will be ordering this burger agan. Had a sudden craving for an açaí bowl so I drove over the next morning to grab a berry filled bowl, should've added some nut butter to it, first bite was underwhelming. I expected more flavor, but overall it wasn't horrible. It wasn't sweet at all, kinda watery with little chunks of ice. The banana added some flavor to it. The prices are a bit silly and you can tell they make a 100 percent profit ( 15 plus per item) but for a once a month visit its perfect. They have already bottles juices perfect for cleanses again high price (worth more like 5 instead of 10 but the variety is much greater than most health spots around. Each thing on the menu is made with care and the herbs and spices included in every dish is delectable as if each is carefully chosen to excite the palette. The food flaw here is their try at the arabs food of tahini and falafel doesnt quite come close . After all they did take it from them lol they should stick to the american delights not the wanna be stuff haha The sad part is it is clear they cater only to one community. After spending almost 100 dollars we were ignored in order to cater to another family. Also although the younger ones working there are kind the older man treats customers who arent of a certain religion/ethnicity as if they are criminals while purchasing 60 dollars of juice. I always said the area needs a good juice bar. And this place hits the nail on the head. They serve fresh healthy juice drinks (all made with super fresh fruits and veggies) They are fully stocked with healthy sandwiches, salads and they're 100% vegan. Lovely decor when you walk in, there is a big communal table, if you're looking for a quick sit down with friends. The owner Sharon is wonderful. I was so impressed with how helpful and knowledgeable she was when I wanted to do a juice cleanse. I took a weeks worth, and ended up coming back for more. This place has good quality, very expensive food. Today I ordered an açaí bowl - the various ones they make have a bunch of toppings, very similar with slight variations. Some have blueberries, some strawberries, some chia, some hemp, etc., usually 4-5 per bowl. Even though they are made to order, when I asked for hemp seeds instead of granola on mine, I was told no, we don't replace. I said Really? And the man whom I think is the owner mansplained that "whatever it says on there is what it is, if you don't want something, we don't replace." Why? Good juice bar but a bit overpriced for what they are offering. Got one of their fresh green juices in a large and it cost me $9.75 ($10.75 if you include my tip). It only cost $6.78 for a large green juice with the same ingredients at the Gowanus Whole Foods. I did factor in that this is a small business, etc..but even then it's a bit ridiculously overpriced.
