We worked with Cathy and while trying to decide on a destination (we had several on our list), were impressed at her in depth knowledge of what seemed to be everything related to traveling. She's very passionate and experienced as a traveler, as well as in her field as an agent. Her advice and insight definitely led us to feeling confident in all of our planning decisions. Cathy put together several itineraries for us and was always available, with a quick turn around time whenever we had any questions. Working with a travel agency can also be really pricey, but Carefree will work with you to customize a package that will fit within your budget. I especially appreciated Cathy's patience and all of the time she spent with us, whether it was communicating in person, on the phone, or email. Thank you again, Cathy, for making the planning of our honeymoon such a breeze.

The woman who said she could help me didn't even let me finish stating my problem (not even halfway through) when she just started nodding her head vigorously and saying she wouldn't help me. I walked out less than 5 minutes after I walked in. It was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional to not even let me ask her my question. Not to mention that when I walked in, there were about 4 people there but no one attempted to help me until after a solid 30 seconds of standing there like a deer in the headlights. I took my business elsewhere (to VeryBest Travel in Bonita, CA) and they were not only willing to solve my problem, but did so in less than an hour. It doesn't cost anything to be nice and to hear a customer out to see if you can help them. Obviously, my problem wasn't so "impossible" to solve that less than an hour later another travel agency was able to help me and did solve my problem. Needless to say, I will NEVER be returning here.

My normal office to visit is Mission Valley, where they greet you well and they are very kind to any members, and kind to whomever walks through the door. I visited Chula Vista office on 5/22/25 for lunch break. I walked in and an AAA Lady up front sized me up and down. I waited for her to verbally greet me, and that did not happen. She gave me that 'teacher to student condescending acknowledgement of my turn in line' look. As she waited for me to respond to her, I waited for her to "speak". After about another 45 seconds she says, "What do you need?" ...I was shocked. Not, 'Good afternoon', 'Hi, how may I help you?', 'Hello, what may I help you with today?', nor 'Welcome to AAA..' no greeting. I responded that I am here for DMV Registration Services. She replies by looking at me incredulously, "Well as long as you are a member..." and pulled out her pointer finger while saying it, indicating that I was not AAA Member. I ignored her when she asked for my AAA Membership card. I already had it ready on my Apple Wallet for her sour attitude to scan me in. Once she did that she directed me to the DMV Services line. She was still being rude and with horrible customer greeting and triaging service. The AAA Lady at the DMV Services area greeted me well and was customer service friendly. I was able to get everything completed in about 7mins. The AAA Lady who handled my Member Services last name on my card update, I think her name was Karla, was very nice and very efficient. She verified my AAA card and account info and updated it with my current last name information from my REAL ID. I was super happy with her customer service. The visit was about 12 mins total. The rude AAA Lady up front triaging customers was a 50s aged white woman. The nice DMV Services AAA Triage Lady was a 30s aged hispanic woman. The very kind AAA Services Member Analyst (I think her name was Karla?) was a 30s aged hispanic woman. The DMV & Member services portion of my visit saved my visit and this is why I gave 2 stars. The initial intake greeting desk AAA Lady is why I took off 3 stars for this particular visit. I have since visited this office again on 05/27/2025. I will update my review for that visit in a week.

I speak Spanish fairly well, and I had already navigated family immigration processes like residency and citizenship in the United States. I figured hiring a facilitator for my Mexican immigration process might be a waste of money. I was wrong! ! ! Jorge is a seasoned veteran when it comes to Mexican immigration. Before I even hired him, he patiently answered my questions, and from the way he responded, I could tell he knew Mexican immigration regulations and procedures inside and out. His professionalism and depth of knowledge immediately impressed me -- and that's when I decided to bring him on board. Best decision I could have made. Jorge is meticulous with documentation. He clearly explained what I needed to do before my interview, helped ensure all my paperwork was properly translated and apostille, and always gave me the option to save money by doing certain legwork(translation and apostille)myself if I wanted to. No pressure -- just solid guidance. When my wife and I arrived at the boarder for my appointments, Jorge walked us through every step of the process -- from Mexican customs to the Canje and the immigration office. He made sure we understood exactly what was happening and what to expect. Now, let me be clear -- the Mexican customs and immigration staff were highly highly professional the entire time. But like any government system anywhere in the world, there can be glitches. We hit one. What should have been a quick five-minute stop at customs to process the Canje turned into a 35-45 minute delay. The officer asked me to sit down while he verified my visa in the office, not to get in detail I had conflicting information on the Visa. That's when things could have gotten stressful. But Jorge? He immediately notice the delay and went into action. He started making calls to his contacts, checking whether Mexican system where down or if he could adjust appointment time if necessary. He anticipated the problem before it became one. Fortunately for me, customs resolved the issue and cleared me to proceed -- that was the moment I truly understood the power of having a professional facilitator in your corner. As someone who works in government, I understand how important it is to build strong professional relationships within the agencies and industries you oversee. The same applies to facilitators. They cultivate professional relationships with the government agencies they work with -- especially when interacting with them on a daily or weekly basis. Having someone with those established connections can make a significant difference when unexpected issues arise. Mexican immigration can be extremely detail-oriented. If your paperwork isn't perfect, you can easily lose hours -- or days. I did not want to be the person getting turned away because of a missing document or technicality. Something that should take a couple of hours can quickly turn into a days or week if you're misinformed. When we arrive at the Mexican immigration Jorge does must of the documentation review with the immigration officer. With Jorge on our side the documentation and procedures was very smooth and trough out the process Jorge inform us of every step of the process. If you're considering an immigration visa to Mexico, I absolutely recommend Jorge Gonzalez. I know I'll be working with him again -- my end goal is Mexican citizenship, and there's no question who I'll trust to help me get my Mexican citizenship hassle free. If you're thinking about taking the plunge, do yourself a favor and get a pro in your corner. Hope this helps.

One of my family members just sent money through them and told me they accept debit card. When it was my turn to send money they told me they can only do cash and if it's through card the maximum is 500. I told them of the recent transaction of my sister through them and they accepted debit card (she sent 5k), the lady became belligerent and was yelling at me telling me that I was insinuating that it was her who did the transaction with my sister, which I never mentioned. I even showed them the receipt of the transaction of my sister but her issue was that I had said that it was through her that my sister did the transaction. Again I told her that I never mentioned it was her who did the transaction and I was even the one who was calming her down. I am just confused on why she's getting upset with me when the issue is they don't have consistency on how much money you can send through debit card. I suggest going somewhere else if you wanted to send money to the Philippines rather than be bullied and humiliated by them.
