We initially contacted Kleon after reading a glowing review in Conde Nast traveler and, after exchanging emails and speaking with him, sent in a deposit to begin working with him. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service we were then provided. We did not feel that the activities, hotels, or room types were any different than what we had already seen online and the prices were actually much more than what was advertised on the hotels' websites. We asked for different variations but the price never came down. During this process, another travel agent that we had contacted previously got back to us with an itinerary and price that were much better. We asked for our down payment back which was refused very nastily. I even offered to split it recognizing that he had done at least some work for us which was also refused. In the end, we went with the other agent, had a great experience, and paid less even factoring in the $1000 we lost to The Art of Travel. Don't make the same mistakes I did!

She even checked in on us on our first day of arrival to make sure we got to our hotel okay and there were no problems. She even went above and beyond with re-sending us all our flight and hotel itinerary information on day 5 of our trip, as we could not locate it for some reason on our laptops and phones.
