The store is beautifully curated so if your items aren't of a certain level of quality/condition, which is sometimes hard to tell in photos, they won't accept them. Be sure to show all aspects of your items when you submit photos - flaws and good points. They'll accept some imperfections if the overall quality is sound. This place is truly a great store and consigner!

We were told twice that our sofa qualified for the "Buy More, Save More" promotion, only to be told at the time of purchase that it didn't. Weeks later (and after repeated follow-up), both their online Customer Service Rep and Regional Manager (Bren) confirmed it actually DID qualify. We were also told the cabinet we ordered was in stock, then sold out, then found, then not found. We received at least four contradictory updates over two weeks. After over a month of back-and-forth, we finally received a refund for the cabinet, but only after physically returning to the store to get it processed. The product quality may be nice, but it's simply not worth the stress.

When I called after six weeks, they said end tables would come in August. Received a call on June 1 that they were available for pickup on June 2. When I arrived to get them, I was told that they were NOT there. A couple things. First, people must be on commission because they will not help you if someone else got the commission. Second, you cannot count on anything they tell you about when an order might show up. If there is another source for what you want, use it instead.

I contacted Foster's for suggestions but never got a response to my email & voicemail. Over the last few months, I would periodically tighten any bolts that I could reach. Those actions sometimes helped, but I finally reached a point that required a more detailed inspection - disclosing a ball bearing assembly with a corner snapped off of the housing! I again emailed Foster's, but again got no response. Finally, I purchased a new assembly and replaced it myself so as to once again have a functioning and much appreciated swivel glider. Given the initial fantastic customer service when we first purchased these chairs, I just don't understand the complete lack of response to an obvious manufacturing defect.
