The Petto Alla Parmigian was one of the best I've ever had, seriously, and the portion was way more than I could eat. There was also a lovely blonde server who assisted me with learning how to say "esta muy bien". I don't even know if I spelled that right, but thanks to her, now I can say it! Would love to give the staff 10 stars if I could. I loved my entire night at Tavola and will go back the next time I'm in the area.

Angel was our server and he did a great job…read more my husband ordered the margherita pizza. he was happy with it. just your basic margherita. my children ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. they are 7&4 and they complained the meatballs were too spicy for them. i didnt try them so i cannot comment on the taste of it. i ordered the Ravioles con salsa de castilla y mantequilla which is ravioli with braised short rib and butter sauce. i have to say it was excellent. the ravioli was cooked al dente and the short ribs were so tender and succulent. it didnt come with a sauce. just the juices cooked with the short rib and it was just the tastiest ravioli i had ever had. its a must try dish. you wont be disappointed!

I had the lasagna...an item that was taken off the menu but recommended by the owner (Mario) since they made some that day. It's gone now, and I savored every bite--sorry about that. Besides, a pic wouldn't do justice to the rich layers of piping hot, tender pasta sheets, slathered in hearty meat sauce and creamy béchamel and ricotta. If this is Italian comfort food, I'm all in with the way Mario's crew put this master piece on a plate. This also goes for the caprese, Cacio e pepe, margherita romana, along with the deserts like the tiramisu' de treviso, cherry cannoli siciliani, and even the bread basket is over the top. Again, apologies for the lack of photos, I will say that the visual appeal of each dish matched the flavors, so the food vanished before the thought of a photo op crossed my mind, and I savored every bite--errr, sorry about again. But if I had to make a statement describing the whole dining experience: "the gods smiled".
