I love this place, they take such great care of my kitties. Super caring staff from when you walk in the door, the appointment itself and leaving. They truly go above and beyond to be helpful and making sure the animals are feeling safe and comfortable. My cat had a bathroom accident in her crate from feeling so anxious on the drive, which has never happened before, they cleaned her up and her crate for me and recommended some possible options for anxiety for cats. Since moving it's a farther drive but I just love this place it's hard to consider anywhere else. Thank you! read more

This is public information on the MN Board of Veterinary Medicine website. He failed a simple spaying with our dog and there appear to be many others that he failed. The vet bills continue to add up for us due to Ovarian Remnant Syndrome caused by Dr Razo incompetence. read more

I've been taking my 15 year old dog to Vet Partner on Main for the last 10 years or so. My dog underwent a knee surgery (she's now bionic) when she was roughly 11. Having a heart murmur, and being older, they brought her home and she continues to be able to walk with no issues. They have also removed a (very large) burst cyst that we were watching for a few years. The managed this situation, and once again brought her home after this scary emergency. They have been so great with her, and am so grateful to have known this place when I needed them most. read more

I am a post-pandemic new patient (my problem kitty). Since things changed every where. My former vet was just too busy, no quick appts, so they suggested 'Vet Partners On Main' in Osseo. My cat needed a Doctor that day. Bladder infection....lots of , pain & a screaming cat. Exam, meds & urinary food. Had a follow up appt, got different meds. Now my kitty seems much better. It seems like almost every time I have come here in the last few years especially, I feel judged as a crappy pet owner. At every turn I feel like they try to upcharge for everything - labs, food, meds. To give a little history, we've been coming here for 17 years for 3 cats and 1 dog. Our dog, Buddy, is a 13.5 year old yorkie-poo and we've been bringing him here since he was a puppy. Danika, the tech today, was so insulting with her little commentary on the questions she was asking. I understand that the vet tech needs to ask questions to gather information. SO ASK YOUR QUESTIONS AND KEEP YOUR FRICKING COMMENTARY TO YOURSELF. Even walking in the room "Oh, it sounds like he needs a nail trim!" (last time my husband brought him in without me, they charged him something crazy like $20 for a nail trim when he had a grooming appt coming up!) - back off lady, he has a grooming appointment this coming Tuesday. "I see he's overdue for his shots" - I'll post a photo - he was "overdue" by 4 fricking days. Then all the questioning started related to his recent (last 24hr) bout of bloody/mucus diarrhea and some patchy skin on his back (which was the reason for this visit): Q "What kind of food are you feeding him?" A - Gentle Giant. "huh. never heard of that one...." (and literally EVERY time in the past 17 years we've come here, they some how degrade the kind of food we are feeding our pets - of course because they sell overpriced stuff of their own there). Q - "Why is he wearing a sweater?" A - because it's COLD OUTSIDE! "oh, that's probably what's causing his skin irritation." Really? Cuz he's been wearing clothing when it's cold out for 13+ years - on the recommendation of our old neighbor who IS A VET. She asked what, if anything we've used on his patchy skin spot on his back and I showed her the dog medication "Sulfodene" I ordered from amazon that was recommended for skin irritations. Of course she ripped on that and said "and it has an acid in it" like I'm pouring battery acid on his wound (main ingredient was benzocaine, menthol, camphor). "This is if he has a CUT, not for this kind of skin irritation!" I wouldn't put anything on him that would harm him. Besides, I literally put one dose on it after I gave him a bath on Monday. Oh and btw the medicated shampoo they ended up prescribing for his skin? Chlorhexidine 4% - same thing as hibiclens otc plus huh, salicylic acid. Then she proceeded to lecture me about not giving preventative medicine for heartworm. He's basically an old man dog - he only goes outside to pee/poop and on short walks around the neighborhood. He's low risk. He is awful at taking medicine. Every year it's been a struggle giving this to him so I stopped 5/17/18 (last dose). Anyway, my husband was getting irritated with me because I called out the vet tech for her condescending manner and said that I feel like every time I go there, they make me feel like I'm the worst pet owner ever. After that I was done. I told him to answer every other question and deal with it. Dr. Heule came in and he was fine and at least wasn't making stupid comments like the vet tech. I feel like the vet techs should gather the information and relay it to the doctor. Keep your comments to yourself if you want to keep customers. We LOVE our animals and take great care of them. This visit we were there because our dog was sick and needed help. I don't need to come to a place where I feel personally insulted and seemingly blamed for causing his problems, so I will be shopping for a new vet office. Oh, and our bill today came to $173.29. They charged $13.50 for #10 metronidazole 250mg tablets and $17.00 for the medicated shampoo. Since we haven't gone anywhere else ever for our pets, I am not sure how the prices compare to other places, just putting it out there. read more

Though it's not the most convenient trip for me to make, Vet Center On Main in Osseo and Dr. Huele are well worth it! The staff is always friendly and professional. It is very apparent that they have a deep care and understanding of animals. I have brought 3 of my dogs in for very different needs. We saw Dr. Huele each time and he is great! The rescue I have gotten my dogs from uses Vet Center on Main as their primary veterinarian. The first rescue dog I got was seen there for his neutering, teeth clensing, and an intestinal bacteria. I didn't know any better at the time, but the drive to get to this clinic from where I live made me look for a closer vet. I severely regret that decision. My dog died shortly after a misdiagnosis elsewhere. My second rescue dog saw Dr. Huele for behavior issues and he was a great help and even pointed me in the direction of a good, reputable trainer. My third rescue dog is just a puppy. I'd had him for just a few days and noticed blood in his stool. They suspected a communicable disease before I brought him in. They did the exam and listened to everything I had to say about my new puppy's habits. They ran some tests on his stool sample too. And within a half hour we were out the door with medicine to help my new puppy's tummy get better. We will keep going to Vet Center on Main! read more

Took our 10 week old puppy for his first visit here for an overall check up and more shots. I was very pleased with the friendliness and care of all the staff. The first time visit is free of charge which was nice to be able to ensure we actually like the facility for the future care of our fur baby. All of our questions were answered and we were given adequate time during the appointment. The vet was extremely good with our pup which kept him at ease during the entire exam and didn't even flinch during his shot due to the distraction of provided treats! LOVE this place and Dr. Monn! I was trying to find a new vet for my 12 yr. yorkie mix who was experiencing terrible breathing issues and coughing. I was not comfortable with my previous vet. I had tried a few different ones in the past, and figured they were all pretty much the same. THEN I read the reviews on here and called. Boy am I happy I did! Everyone that works there is so caring and kind, and Dr. Monn is absolutely the best! She does a very thorough exam and explains everything to me, and I don't feel rushed at all, even when I am asking a lot of questions. The clinic is clean, spacious, and convenient.
