They know the key buzzwords however can't actually help with anything complex that is the VA. I had all sorts of issues with the VA side and they could do nothing to help with that. I would STRONGLY recommend using an accredited VSO (that is also free) over working with this organization. Plus the fees... Again, they did very little, couldn't help with the nearly 1 yr VA battle then want their cut. Run away, don't trust them and avoid at all costs. Seriously, cost. They charge an insane amount for their "service" Congress (I know, long shot) is trying to pass bills that would make these organizations either charge dramatically less or go away entirely.

She always makes time for her veterans no matter what is going on. She is constantly looking for new things to help us just feel connected to one another and have a sense of community. I, myself, am involved in the art class (my favorite, also a shout out to Sabrina. She's the best), the writing class and the guitar class. Denise is constantly searching for professionals, to come in to expand our techniques/knowledge. There are people from all five branches and all types of age groups, people that have been veterans for years, some have just been separated, and people that are still on their way of getting out. This place is help me pull out of many isolation periods.

If you are a Veteran that feels overwhelmed about filing a compensation claim with the VA, and…read moreyou're not interested (or you've had bad luck) in getting help from other Veteran assistance groups like American Legion, VFW, etc., then contacting Veterans Benefit Guide (VBG) could be a reasonable option. You will still have to do the leg work to assemble the necessary medical records and others forms, but VBG will analyze what you compile and will competently type up the application for submission to the VA. Do not always expect prompt telephone or email responses to your questions; you will have to be persistent in reaching a person/case manager for updates, but that may just be the nature of this beast. If you're patient, and willing to pay VBG a percentage based fee for any success you may have in gaining a service connection rating (10% or higher), then pursuing the assistance of VBG could be a good choice you.

I was assured that the reconsideration team was going to be working deligently to appeal this ruling. I was told to be patient as the VA was taking up to 6 months to review denied claims. Fast forward May 2026, I hadn't heard anything and I called to check the status. It seems VBG is the one taking its time getting to the denied claims. My husband's claim had not been looked at since November 2025. After speaking with a lead in appeals, I was told to request the exams from the VA. Well guess what, it can take months for them to send this to us. We have to appeal prior to the end of September or we start all over. Thanks for nothing VBG

The VA took around four months to get me my decision. The entire process was roughly 9 months 2 weeks long. I'm very fortunate to receive an increase in my Disability Rating!! They're well worth the price tag for the assistance. It takes REE Medical a little too long to get your DBQ(s) back but, you can not argue with their results!! The REE Medical staff were to assist me every step of the way. Not one time I felt as if I was just a "customer." I felt supported by them and felt like they're actually there to help Veterans get the disability claim that they need and deserve.

It's where my brother held his retirement party; it was a good place for it considering he was retiring after 20 years in the Navy. It has cheap drinks and apparently cheap breakfast, I've never had breakfast but my parents do it on a regular bases. The bathrooms are decorated in that old grandma look circa a long time ago so it gives it that homey fell. If you're a member and looking to throw a little party it's a pretty nice place for the area, they are very accommodating, extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is well the atmosphere and you cant beat their prices.
