I'm surprised to hear anything positive about this organization. They missed every one of my appointments, I always had to call them after they no-showed. They know the key buzzwords however can't actually help with anything complex that is the VA. I had all sorts of issues with the VA side and they could do nothing to help with that. I would STRONGLY recommend using an accredited VSO (that is also free) over working with this organization. Plus the fees... Again, they did very little, couldn't help with the nearly 1 yr VA battle then want their cut. Run away, don't trust them and avoid at all costs. Seriously, cost. They charge an insane amount for their "service" Congress (I know, long shot) is trying to pass bills that would make these organizations either charge dramatically less or go away entirely. read more

Great experience from start to finish. Absolutely no pressure or sales tactics. I was 40% rated when I got out the Navy over 15 years ago. I had a ton of medical issues rated at 0% that the Navy didn't compensate me for. I was referred to Veterans Adviser's by a friend. I was skeptical at 1st but I got them on the phone and felt comfortable enough to move forward with the process. Then my wife spoke with my advisor about the process, she felt comfortable so we decided to move forward with it. Within a few months I was at 100 P&T. 100% wasn't the goal I just wanted to be properly rated. At the end of the medical screening the dr indeed found that my injuries were in fact legit and they equaled out to be 100% P&T. I thank God for Veterans Adviser's and the staff. this is my honest review, i had originally left a nasty review of this place because they messed up my paperwork and lost me $4000 of backpay, mind you i paid $7800 to these guys. they called me and expressed concerns of my original review and i felt bad and deleted it, they asked what could they do to help resolve this issue, i said well if you guys lost me $4000 then maybe you could refund me some of that $7800. i deleted the nasty review i left cause it wasn't truthful and in the heat of the moment i was upset because Lizza was rude to me on the phone, i was misled about being able to make payments as well and they lost me $4000 creating a big headache for me.. i was upset but i took down the review, my case manager who was actually awesome (s/o jonathan) then called me and explained that "the team" was insinuating that i was "BLACKMAILING THEM" first off they called me and asked hey what can we do to fix THEIR mistake. i told them what i thought was a fair solution and that i would take down that nasty review regardless... well they insinuated that i was BLACKMAILING THEM, so this is my honest review. this company was rude to me and was misleading, even though they did things right i'm still fighting for my $4000. 1 star for this company but 5 stars for my case manager jonathan. if you do consider this company try and work with jonathan the whole time, he taught me a valuable lesson about being truthful and handling frustration. thank you jonathan. as for the rest of you guys please keep the money i don't want a refund i just want people to see this review and consider going with another option, that is priceless to me. read more

My only thing is that I spoke with so many different reps throughout the process, one even filed my appeal incorrectly (which was fixed by another rep), that it never really felt like a personalized experience. I must admit I was somewhat skeptical when I first started the process just because of past dealing with other organizations. A friend of mine told me to reach out to this guy named Ritchie and he said it will be a great experience for you. The night I got Ritchie's contact number I shot him a text thinking it would be a week or two before getting back with me. Within 20 minutes I had a return text from him with his introduction and within the hour I had a phone call. It was the first time I felt like someone else cared about my situation. The Veteran Advisor Consulting is very hard to work with and does not comply with the Veterans Administration on what is a fair charge. I paid $5500 for their service but per the VA, I should only have paid $881.40. They allow a maximum fee of 20% of the back compensation that you receive after your percentage is increased I got a favorable outcome and was increased from 90% to 100%, so I am pleased with the result. It was 100% due to the work the Doctor did in describing my disabilities in terms that the VA would accept. There are more ethical people out there to work with you. The people here do not return your phone calls and never tell you that they are not a registered VSO. Please save yourself the frustration and use a firm aligned with the Veterans Affairs Administration. You can find them on Google and interview several before signing on. Make sure one of the documents you sign is a Limited Power of Attorney from you for the firm to represent you with the VA. I definitely encourage you to seek out a competent firm to assist you. I used one of the Veterans' VSO at the hospital. As it turned out they look at your current records and try to find something that could get you a rating. They use VA doctors and as you might suspect they are employees of the VA and most likely will not work with you to increase your rating. You need an outside Medical Doctor who knows how to write up your diagnosis so the VA must support his findings. read more

They set up your doctors appointments, they do the write ups for you, they will coach you on what not to say because that is really important when it comes to making a decision on your rating increase. Where to start! I was medically separated from the Army 2019 also served in the corps and got out in 2006. All said and done out of the Army I came out with an 80% rating.
