This is the only place that accept same day appointment when I look for appointments so I had to go there. It's very much overpriced and it was quite a long waiting time. I paid to trim my dog's nails and my dog was bleeding for two nails being trimmed too short. It was never heard of.

STAY AWAY ! WORST VET CARE AROUND ! (( formerly Carlstadt Animal Hospital )) *** I CALLED them because my dog was pooping a ton of BLOOD. No answer "but" the ans machine says THEY'RE OPEN TILL 7PM. ok. Great. ... I drive an hour in traffic and arrive by 5:30p. THEY ARE CLOSED. I'm then told that they now ONLY see pets BY APPOINTMENT. which is fine. So, I then ask WHY the clinic is CLOSED at 5:30 when the ans machine says open till 7pm. I'm told "oh they have all different hours". (nothing set in stone) ‍ THEN I'm told "IF THERE ARE NO APPOINTMENTS they just "GO HOME"!! "They went home at 4p". WTF?! THAT is UNACCEPTABLE. HOW THE F*** do you just close the doors if there's no appointments by 3 or 4pm?? So, if a dog get sick after 3 or 4 & they don't have any later appointments, u can't MAKE an appointment 'cause they f***ing CLOSE !!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS & INFURIATING. NO successful BUSINESS in America runs this way. Screw this place ! SEEMS LIKE VETCO DONT GIVE A F*CK about pets !!!

Like a spa for fur babies so clean and amazing !!!

Although I am a physician I am not familiar with this procedure in canines, but apparently open incisions are used to cut into the bladder for stone removal. My. Baby girl was discharged in howling pain, which was traumatic for my sister who had retrieved her. She had to return her to demand appropriate pain management for the dog as she was only given gabapentin and Rimadyl (doggie Advil). Even women who have cesarean sections are given strong analgesia for at least 3 days postoperatively. My baby suffered for days. I called the office the following day to get information regarding her diet going forward, as bladder stones can definitely recur. Not only was I not given any information, but I was merely switched to another person who just asked for my financials to make payment for the "extra (much needed) meds." I was given a generic receipt, so my insurance denied the payment, and I was NEVER given the invoice for the surgery, which was almost 3k and paid in full up front. I sent an email requesting the invoice, and to date they refused to respond, so I will not be able to submit for the reimbursement. When my son called the office he was told that they "didn't know" about the insurance- even though it is on file. Although they claim they will submit, I don't have much faith that they will. Further, why was this not handled from the beginning before they tortured my baby? If a human patient is treated this way there are patient advocates & lawyers promptly involved. I guess things are different in Veterinary Medicine.... But animals deserve compassionate care, too. Some people love their pets more than their spouses. In addition, pet parents should be counseled regarding the operative course, what to expect, and how to manage their pets post-operatively at home. My family, and especially my dog, were traumatized by this experience. This vet got good reviews on Yelp for some reason; maybe they are acceptable for routine well care visits and minor illnesses. But if you have a pet with serious illness or require invasive or surgical intervention I encourage you to seek another Veterinary practice.

But the care my dog receives here is top notch. The vets and vet techs have true compassion, the front desk staff is friendly, and I have not had one issue since coming here. I do believe the front desk submits insurance claims for the animal if you carry a policy, but I have always submitted on my own.

We asked our neighbors and got almost universal recommendations from neighbors to Foster Animal Hospital. We would hear, "Doctor Barrow is excellent." "Doctor Aziz came by my house. He's just so incredible and caring." "Nearly everyone in this block goes to Doctor Aziz." Wow. They were right. What a difference once we got to Foster! After our first visit, we said "Looks like we found our new vet." Everyone is incredibly friendly and has a genuine care for your animal. These people LOVE animals and it shows in everything they do. The vet techs and doctors take as much time as you need, answer your questions, explain everything, and treat pets (and their owners) with love and care. The front desk team is somehow always on-the-ball with scheduling, billing, and reception. We're never waiting to be seen long. They are up-front, honest, fair, and transparent when it comes to costs, which I appreciate. Parking lot is huge and the location is super convenient. It's easy to understand why so many people recommend Foster Animal Hospital and I'm pleased to be one of them. Tell them Malory sent you

I want to share my very negative experience at this veterinary clinic. From the beginning, the service was unprofessional. I was incorrectly told the gender of my kitten, and a possible diagnosis of ringworm was mentioned without a clear examination or proper explanation. This caused unnecessary stress and concern. Throughout the visit, I felt disrespected and treated with little empathy. As a non-English speaker, I perceived a discriminatory attitude and a lack of patience from the staff, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. The reception staff were also cold and unkind. In addition, being directed to leave through a back door was humiliating and completely unacceptable, making me feel mistreated as a client. Most importantly, I later visited another veterinarian who provided a proper and professional evaluation. They confirmed that my kitten does NOT have ringworm, but instead has parasites and dry skin, and he is now receiving the correct treatment with respectful care. For all these reasons, I do not recommend this clinic due to their lack of professionalism, accuracy, and basic respect for clients and their pets.

I first started taking our dog Lily to Dr. Wellington a couple of years ago after I couldn't get an appointment with my long time veterinarian for months. The care provided by Dr. Wellington has always been thorough and professional. Recently, Lily, who was 14 years old, was diagnosed with end stage kidney disease and after Dr. Wellington dianosed and provided medication to keep her comfortable, my wife and I decided to euthanize her. The compassion and professionalism displayed by Dr. Wellington and his staff made a very difficult time much more bearable. We decided to have a private cremation. Lily's ashes arrived in a tasteful light wood box with a name plate and a condolence card signed by Dr. Wellington and his staff. All of this was packaged in a blue velvet drawstring pouch. My wife and I were truly moved by the respect shown for Lily and the recognition that her death was a truly sorrowful and difficult event. Thank you to Dr. Wellington and staff for treating Lily like the valuable and loved member of our family that she was.

A few weeks ago, I contacted the front desk for a referral so my pet could see a specialist…read more Instead of connecting me with the vet as I requested multiple times, the front desk staff member insisted on advising me herself, questioning why I needed a specialist based on my pet's symptoms. This was extremely frustrating -- she is an administrator, not a veterinarian, and when pet parents are nervous or concerned about their pet's health, the last thing we need is to feel dismissed or second-guessed by someone who is not medically qualified to advise us. This morning I needed to get anxiety medication for my pet. I asked my mother to pick it up on my behalf. She was told, with an attitude, that the medication needed to be signed off by a vet -- which I understand -- but when I asked when I could pick it up, the response again came with unnecessary attitude, saying that there are many patients and I'm not the only one. I am fully aware of that, but that does not justify being spoken to in this manner, especially when dealing with a sick pet. To make matters worse, my mother, who was simply trying to ask if the medication would be ready today, was treated unpleasantly as well. It feels like we are begging for a service that we are paying for -- this is not acceptable and not what anyone should experience when they are already stressed about their pet's wellbeing. I raised my initial concern with the owner after the first incident, and I was told there would be training. But this problem continues, and it seems nothing has changed. If this is how clients are treated when they need help, I truly wonder why the practice is even open. I am very disappointed and hope you take this feedback seriously, as no pet owner should be made to feel this way when trying to care for their animal.

The doctor was knowledgeable and nice, and the service is cordial, but it was just a terrible experience. First, I had to wait 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment to be seen. Then I had a follow-up question about allergy medication and called the doctor. They said she would call me back during the day. I waited 5 hours before calling back, and the secretary sounded annoyed and said the doctor was busy. 24 hours later I called again and said she was busy. I called a few hours after that because I had a simple question that I needed an answer to, and they said she was STILL busy. They also said "The Doctor wants to let you know she has 18 other patients and 4 other people to call back and then she will call you" That doesn't seem ethical AT ALL to me. and if my dog was actually having an emergency, thats insane!! I have never been to a vet where they were unable to give me a response within a few hours. I waited 48-72 hours until the doctor called me back. The service they provide is good, but I would never go back simply for the fact that they are overworked (apparently), and don't have the time. Waiting THAT long and having to follow up THAT often is just unacceptable for me as a dog owner.
