I am a first time homebuyer and this is the first inspection that I have had done, so I cannot compare his services to any past experience. We had Mike do 2 inspections for us in the course of our housing search. On our first inspection, he accommodated a short-notice, weekend inspection for us, as we were flying in from out of town prior to our PCS. His inspection saved our tails on that house, and we terminated the contract because of his findings. He uses FLIR to look for leaks, HVAC function, etc. He's detail-oriented, gets up in the attics, on the roof, etc. He likes to have buyers accompany him so he can point out findings. As long as we're involved with San Antonio real estate, he's the guy we'll use for our inspections. Bottom-line: he's trustworthy and will do a complete job. read more

We used Veteran Home Inspections for our new home. Figuring we had already found pretty much everything we were completely surprised when Mike discovered numerous electrical issues such as several outside outlets being labeled as GFI but not connected to GFI. There were also issues with the HVAC unit that were found because of Mike's attention to detail saving us a big surprise that awaited activation of the furnace in a few months.
