The inside of the hospital is very nice with plenty of seating. It is very clear when you go to register when you come in. I got there at 7:45 for a 9:45 procedure but, that was not the case. I was not prepped in time and my doctor went to his next patient and then came back to me. Mine was 30 minutes later. But I do want to shout out to Lacey, Tony and Danile. These guys were awesome and made the extra time more tolerable. The procedure was quick and uneventful with prognosis all good.

As soon as I got to the ER they took me to a room and the sweetest nurse, name Caroline, took control of my care and assured me I would be OK. Caroline was very gentle when she started my IV and she let me know everything about my care before she did anything. She was very patient with me especially and my family and answered all our questions about what was going on with me and what to expect. Hopefully this would explain some bad health issues I had been experiencing. Ip stay in the ER till about 3pm and everyone I came in contact with couldn't have been nicer. I felt very safe and well taken care of. I must admit I NEVER imagined that this would lead to being admitted to the hospital but it did. The things that were communicated were most often incorrect. She was in the hospital for 7 days. We say a doctor for a total of 30 min the entire week. Even when we asked to see one, they would communicate through a nurse. They even sent her home without calling in the needed antibiotics and pain medication that were discussed at discharge. Staff was kind but we will absolutely never go back here. I do not recommend using StonsCrest if you have another option.

Just recently, a young nurse stopped talking while I was on the phone and left deadness. NO Manners and professionalism. Like the saying goes. Left hand doesn't know what the right hands doing. Let me start by saying that the rehab part of the hospital was amazing for my father, who is 85…read moreyears old. The nightmare started when it was time to go home. I was sat down with a case worker (Lindsey) and a social worker (Laura Ann). I was told everything that would happen when he went home and that they were available to help if we had problems after leaving. The problems started immediately and I was never called to be told problems even existed. Everyone seemed to blame the insurance, but when I called the insurance, I was informed of what they needed. I called everyone that it pertained to including Lindsey, and was told by her I didn't know what I was talking about. And that because my father had already been discharged she wasn't responsible for helping me. Thank goodness I am capable of making phone calls to get to the bottom of things, because we now have the ball rolling, more than a week after he was discharged without home health or any of the therapies he needs. I won't post details, but I will say this hospital has a serious issue with follow up. Don't say you will help families after they leave and then just drop the ball. Maybe take a little time to listen to the families or even call them back when it's requested. I've been out of work for almost 4 weeks, caring for my beloved father when I was told I would have help with 48 hours of getting him home. I will say I loved his nurses and therapists. They were absolutely wonderful.

My first visit was with his PA, Cassidy Crawford, and she was fantastic. I saw Dr. Zane Cooke for the first time yesterday and was completely impressed. Dr. Cooke spoke with me about my lab results in a sincere, unhurried manner. We discussed my medical history, and he genuinely seemed to care. Dr. Cooke is a credit to his profession. I also want to mention his nurse (I feel bad that I do not recall her name). She was professional, nice, and efficient. So glad my daughter suggested him.
