Hello, A friend recommended VetsGuardian to me. I made an appointment online and spoke to a person the next day April 21st. The person I spoke to was quite condescending but I sent the requested documents fast. I was then told i would receive a "strategy" phone call the next week. I didn't receive a phone call but called them and they said they were very busy helping other people and I should receive a call by 5/8 and instructed me to call if I did not. Today is the 8th and I did not receive a phone call. At this point I am not sure if it's a correct fit for me to continually try to reach them. I know they're really busy. read more

I worked with Veterans Guardian almost 2 years ago. They assigned me Kirsty English to work through my first claim. The organization developed a strategy for cronic pain to set as a point to move forward with all my other issues. It became the basis point to ensure I would be able to receive the compensation I deserved from the VA. I had wasted my time with the DAV and other services that do not ensure the paper work and backing of medical records are submitted correctly. Very kind and helpful people work there. Always available to answer questions and willing to help. They are very upfront with the costs and they take the all the risks if your claim isn't successful and don't charge a penny from you if not. This makes them want to work hard for you. I read all the low ratings on here and none make sense and most are vets that didn't either listen to the reps or read the agreement because this company is upfront with everything and makes no promises besides they will work hard for your claim. If you are successful they are successful but it is a 2 way street. The vet cant assume this is automatic and they need to also put hard effort in for success! read more

VG helped me get to 80% with very professional staff and doctors who took the time to listen to me and guide me through the horrendous claim process. The fee is deserved instead of getting denied for years because of small details that were missed. I've recommended them to all of my friends who served. I worked with Veterans Guardian for over a year. In between that I moved from AK to Maine. I Informed my claim specialist of the move. Once in Maine I was ghosted by the claims specialist Mrs. Koontz. Eventually she replied and scheduled a 2 hour phone call. She never called. I emailed and called back throughout the week. No response. I called the following week and requested a new claims specialist. During this process I was informed that Maine reportedly doesn't allow third party organizations to help veterans. I told the person that I was in Maine when I submitted all my documentation and told my claims specialist this. I received a too bad so sad. I am now working with my local VSO. read more

On 10/26/23 I wrote a review reference my initial contact with this company. I will say I did hear from one of their representatives and he was very professional and stated the core values of his company did not align with my first interaction with the company. I decided after speaking with him to give the company a chance since he came across so professional and made no excuses for what had happened but immediately rectified the issue. Now that I have had the opportunity to work with Veterans Guardian they have been nothing but professional and worked on my case and kept me informed through the entire process. I met with a representative from Veterans Guardian during a Gun Show in Chantilly, Virginia. The Veterans Guardian is a Company who does consulting with Service Members or Veterans about their VA Disability Benefits and their possible claims. I completed an initial form with just my basic information and was contacted via email to set up an initial telephonic consultation. They were extremely prompt with their call and even allow me to conference my spouse in. We spoke to Lyla Owens who was completely professional, Patient and very informative, a lot of information was given regarding the entire process so I would strongly recommend to be ready with a note pad and pen. I want to highlight that the initial consultation and any follow-up call to ask for clarifications are free. I left a review the other day but I forgot to say this. If they win your case they then inform you that you owe them money. Yes, after the fact is when you find out. Now the thing I forgot to say in my other review was that they never told me I owed them money. I found out through a phone call from collections after they waited two months of me apparently missing payments (that I didn't know about) that I was being charged interest. I then checked my credit score and it had dropped over 100 points. The fact that this company actively sabotaged my future is ridiculous. They don't communicate and they don't care. I'm using them now and its a complete joke. No advise on anything. They look through your stuff and say I don't think you can get an increase. I brought up other scenarios and they said I have to get everything. No referrals to references for getting nexus letters. I think, I may have gotten a lazy person in my corner. Not just that the person that was working on my stuff quite and it file was just sitting there until I had to call for an update. They are a joke. They are all pretty kind, they are fairly easy to contact. I believe my claim got denied because the VA knew who I was dealing with immediately as soon as they saw the doctor I used in my claim. The Doctor at my C&P exam mentioned this, said he sees veterans using that particular Dr all the time. As soon as he said that, I knew I was screwed. read more

I was referred to Veterans Guardian by a coworker who was also in the process of requesting a re-evaluation of his service connected disability. He mentioned that they're very professional and seem to care about what they do and try for the best outcome. So I reached out to them and they didn't let me down. Very professional and caring. They were also very responsive. Needless to say they were able to get me a higher percentage of disability after only a few months since I made contact with them. This is the best organization that really takes care of veterans like myself. I tried to contact Veterans Guardian and was introduced to the wonderful lady named Nicole Douget who helped me with my vA claim. She was there with me all the way and she had a plan on how we are going to approach what claim to file. She guided me all the way until I have set a Doctor's appointment. Monica Goggin stepped in to ensure that my appointment with a psychologist was all set and ready to go. Then, Stephanie Evans took over and made the rest of the way smooth sailing. Very bad personal experience- looks like they did well with other people according to the reviews, so maybe I was an isolated incident, but it was very unprofessional from the beginning. Multiple consultations were blown off by them- they would literally set an appointment to speak with me, and not call. So I emailed to confirm we were still on, and got a call 20 minutes later. The call was rushed and the rep told me that she was busy with other vets (saying that along with being late and rushing the call made me think they they meant "more important" vets). But whatever, no ones perfect and we all have off days. So I fill sign the paperwork they sent me to apply and it turns out they sent me the wrong paperwork, which of course the VA rejected (2 months of waiting only to have to redo it). So I call to complain and I'm told that they INTENTIONALLY gave me the wrong paperwork to sign because it would be too confusing for me if they had given me the correct one (I'm not even kidding, that was actually said to me). This was for a chronic back issue and I have loads of evidence, in the firm of nexus letters, health records, and buddy statements. Also, when I called to tell them I will no longer be using them because they sent me the wrong paperwork, the lady I spoke to (who told me they intentionally sent me the wrong paperwork as not to confuse me) got really defensive as though me being upset that they couldn't even do the right paperwork was insane and unreasonable. That's my experience, take it or leave it. But I'm quite certain that you will be better off going at it without them, they really do not care. read more

I am writing to let you know of a horrendous experience I had with Veterans Guardian Consulting. They had helped me with a claim that was denied, and then they advised me to send them the info the VA sent in regards to the denial. I sent it to them, and it seems that they have went dark, with No calls, no emails. I called a few times, and got the generic, "Someone will call you back". I then reached out to someone I saw in a veterans Facebook group who worked for the company. Now, I have to say, the gentleman was very receptive to my concerns, and advised that someone would call me back. Needless to say, I never received a call, and reached out again. I advised the gentleman that no one called, in which he stated he would pass word, and that I should receive a call the next day. It's been a week since that conversation, and nothing. I have to say that this has bothered me beyond words, but I guess I fall into a category that if I can't make the company any money, it really doesn't matter when they get back to me. The whole putting vets first is just a catchy slogan to lure vets into using your company's services. My experience with Veteran Guardian Consulting has been sub-par, and honestly a big let down. Now in all fairness, I have heard that the company has helped other veterans with their claims, and has been successful in their efforts, but in my case, because I fall into the category that I'm not going to be able to make them a few thousand dollars, I'll just get the silent treatment, when converted into words means, "Sorry, We can't help you". I am beyond frustrated with the whole experience, and feel let down. read more
