Many of the businesses in Southern Pines welcome dogs; however, it's not often I find a dog friendly bookshop. It was nice to walk through the shop with my dog and he liked all the extra attention. I quickly found the book I was looking for, unfortunately it was quite pricy. I'm usually fine paying more for things if sold by a local bookshop, but this was more than I planned to spend.
