There are souvenirs: a captured Iranian flag, the model submarine carved by a sailor serving on the real thing, and a bracelet made from a downed airplane. Kids will enjoy walking into a field commander's tent and a front line bunker. Docents are available for tours and to tell stories of particular individuals. And, it's all free (though the volunteer-run attraction wouldn't turn down a donation).

The museum is well designed and well documented. A must for every history buff! There are restrooms downstairs which were clean and well maintained. The only thing that concerned us was the basement area seemed a little damp and musty...so we had to watch our time down there as my wife is very sensitive. A great place to visit!

Get your rental skates. Use lockers etc. they accept cash or cards here as well. They handled the situation much better than Steinberg in Forest Park in my opinion.
