The asbestos removal went fine,…read morebut we also had Carlos' crew rebuild our ceiling with drywall, which necessitated moving our belongings from room to room to clear the space. They moved our things carelessly and caused a lot of damage. Every piece of our wood furniture was scratched with deep gashes, glass bottles were broken, and paintings were scratched. My wedding dress was thrown on the floor next to broken, leaking oil bottles. We have a number of lego sets that were thrown into a pile upside-down. It looked like a natural disaster had come through our apartment and it was devastating to see all of our belongings thrown around and damaged. The crew left staples in the walls and window sills and damaged a lot of our walls (see pictures). When I brought this up with Carlos, he tried to gaslight me, saying that all of the damage was preexisting and that the dust everywhere wasn't from his crew (it was obviously drywall dust). He ended up giving us a couple of hundred dollars off the price, but it was nothing compared to the thousands of dollars we've had to spend having our wood furniture refinished and hiring other contractors to fix the damage they caused to our walls. I deeply regret hiring them.

The reviews don't lie, if you're in need of any kind of water restoration this is your guy. Mike and came out a few hours after I called them, my wife and I had got to our cabin after a week long of freezing temps to find our toilet had cracked an the water had been running for a day, we had about an inch of water in the bathroom, and both bedrooms were soping wet. Mike and reassured us that they would take care of everything. Gave us an instant quote over the phone and were honest and upfront about everything. Mike is not out to get you, he is a very honorable guy who's making a living helping people. He has no interest in overcharging you. Mike and his partner Eric got started right away, pulling up the carpet, removing the vinyl bathroom floor, and testing the moisture levels in the walls. Within a short amount of time they had fans under everything and large dehumidifier set up. They assured us they would save everything they could and that it wasn't as bad as we originally thought. Mike returned the next day and checked to make sure everything was working properly, tested the moisture levels, and adjusted some of the fans. Mike and Eric were thorough and professional throughout the entire experience. They saved my cabin, saved the floors, and even saved the carpet. I can't talk enough about the work Mike and Eric did and how hard they worked to get it done. In the end, I was very happy I called Mike, overall it was around $1,000 and was within dollars of his phone estimate. For the amount of work done, the hours spent, equipment used, and how little damage was actullay done after Mike got to work, it was money very well spent and don't usually say this but was happy to write that check. I literally couldn't give a higher recommendation. Mike also runs his own contracting company, which he does great work, I'll be writing separate review there for some work I had done after this incident.

The only rooms that were not affected by water damage were 2 bathrooms and our outside deck. my husband and I were so impressed with their work that we had them come back April 2026 to renovate those bathrooms and deck. Then he tried for $$, still twice as much as my HVAC. He called the office to have a woman try to convince me to to the heater work, I'm still not budging but getting very annoyed since they are wasting my time and not working. The guy even did something extra so "not to get a bad review." Then the guy hurries through some of the vents and did NOT even check the dryer vent, which was to be part of the cost. Then the carpet cleaner is waiting to come into the house and tells me he will do some extra work, trying to make me feel better about duct cleaner, obviously he was told by the head office to do this. We moved to the area and wanted our house cleaned before we moved in, my wife chose them based off…read moreof the ratings. Before they came to clean I spoke with them and expressed my intentions on what I wanted and was told no problem I would be taken care of, they were to do a deep clean. The only thing that was deep cleaned was my wallet. None of the cabinets were wiped down. I had shelves in a front room that were not dusted, base boards in laundry room and the cabinets in there were not cleaned as well as in the pantry. Top of the fridge was never touched and the master bathroom toilet was not done, and many other items as well. We had to clean up after them. Heck even the dead bug that was in my basement was still there when we came back. I told them we were not happy with the job and all I got was and I quote from the text "We did wipe all the cabinets on top and underneath the fridge. We could not get that grease on the oven to come out completely. As well as some of the stains in the cabinets. We possibly missed one, but we were there for 3 1/2 hours with 3 maids". My security system shows my door was opened at 0958 and closed for the final time at 1227. I guess I learned my lesson never to trust anyone that I am paying to do things unless I am there to supervise. I guess the only bright side is they refunded me $50. I will say buyer beware. UPDATE 7/17 AND STILL NO REFUND!
