I'd never dealt with this kind of issue, and emotionally, it's a lot, after having just purchased a home and then finding all these things wrong with it, worrying about the potential effects it could have on your family's health, not to mention paying for all these people involved to fix it. There's the air hygienist (who needs to retest, too), the mold remediation team, the air duct cleaners, water proofers, contractors to repair all the cuts in the house, and you'll probably want house cleaners, too, for good measure. We're talking thousands and thousands. When looking for mold remediation, I started with the list my air hygienist gave me and reached out to three companies who had the best reviews online. I'm so grateful First Priority was on that list. David was the only person who took the time to discuss the issue on the phone and help me try to understand what was going on. I felt immediately better just chatting with him. The others just scheduled times to come by and gave quotes, and during their visits, they couldn't answer basic questions ("I'm just a consultant"), or they were trying to upsell and get us to contract out the repair work when we hadn't even figured out the mold problem! I had to wait a while to get appointments but it was worth having someone who really understood my concern and took it as seriously as I did. David was sensitive to our budgeting issues and line itemed the invoice for us. I would 100% recommend First Priority to anyone seeking mold remediation.

For those who have ever dealt with water damage and mold, you know it is an incredibly stressful situation that upends your life. So I wish we had met David under better circumstances, but I'm so glad we found him to do the mold remediation. His meticulous attention to detail, experience, and knowledge alone is enough to hire him, but in addition, he comes recommended by independent highly regarded mold testing/environmental professionals. In addition to all of the above, David is incredibly hard working and did everything he could to accommodate us. We have a lot of allergies in our family so David brought in an extra air scrubber and left all 3 air scrubbers with us to help us out during the re-construction process. He absolutely did not have to do that. He also didn't have to leave up the containment barrier for the re-construction phase, but he did. Because that is the kind of person he is! And because we were in such a bind, David put us in touch with folks to do the re-construction, etc. and helped us managed that process. He also answered ALL our questions promptly, even after he had completed the job. I do not frequently give such glowing reviews, but I truly simply cannot recommend David highly enough! The customer service representative assured me that an air duct vacuum would be performed and even recommended a promotional package that supposedly included both vent and duct cleaning. However, when the technician arrived, he only cleaned the vents and did not perform the air duct vacuuming as promised. When I questioned this and called the supervisor, he informed me that I had purchased only the basic package, which does not include air duct cleaning--contradicting what the representative had told me. To make matters worse, I felt pressured to proceed and pay for the service because they insisted the technician was already at my home. This felt misleading, unethical and felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for honest and transparent service.

A quick yelp and Google search for a carpet cleaning company brought me to this guys. I called pretty bummed and freaked out. I was answered immediately (8:30AM mind you) and spoke to Mike (Later on I found out he's one of the owners). He calmed me down said not to panic, told me they don't have anyone available until late afternoon but that they'll be sure to put me on they're scheduled the very same day. About 30 minutes later Mike called to let me know that all of the technicians were booked but instead of letting me down he said that he'll come and take care of in person. I was so impressed with his customer service and shocked by his dedication. After the carpet cleaning service was done the stain was completely gone, the carpet looked as if nothing happened to it and Mike made sure that all was taken care of. For $80 they came and vacuumed my vent covers.. took pictures inside my HVAC unit and proceeded to tell me I have a mold problem through super broken english. I could barely understand him. He also told me the UV gadget on my unit was broken and after I told him i had my ducts cleaned 3-4 yrs ago he scoffed at me like no you need them done every 2-3. LIE! Hamilton's Unlimited was here before the plumbers and had my house back to normal in less than four…read moredays - including new drywall and paint. On a Sunday evening, a huge clog backed up the drain for both of my 2nd Floor bathrooms and the water ran down into my 1st Floor ceiling. I got the water turned off and called the plumber and Kevin at Hamilton's Unlimited. Since I also have a Powder Room on the 1st Floor, I told them both it can wait until Monday morning. Early the next morning the plumber called to say they were running ahead of schedule and asked if they move me up. Of course, I told them yes. By the time the plumbers got here (early), Hamilton's Unlimited had already removed all of the wet ceiling, disinfected the framing, set up fans and a dehumidifier, and hauled away the debris. As a bonus, having the ceiling open like that helped the plumbers determine where the clog was which saved me even more time and money. That afternoon, after everyone had left, I was sure I'd be dealing with this for a week or more. However, over the next 48-hours, Hamilton's Unlimited kept in contact with me, even stopping by, to ensure that the drying process was progressing to their liking. By Thursday afternoon - less than four days after the leak - they had installed all new drywall, sanded, and fresh paint on the entire ceiling and one wall. Done. HP was there a few hours later (on a Saturday), called WSSC, explained next steps including hooking my spigot hose to my neighbor's so I would have water, and then we were off and running. His team took extra care because my driveway is brand new (zero damage) and dug up only the small piece of lawn that they had to in order to replace the line.
