I first met Veteran Service Officer Carissa a couple of months back who spent a lot of time with me and gave me a list of documents that I had to get in order to put forward a claim. She was very kind, understanding, and professional when dealing with me. A few months later I came back with all of the documentation she had requested. She could not have been any nicer and really tried to help me in filing this claim. I know it's her job to do this, but her attitude and support really exceeded my expectations. During the discussion, she brought up many things that I had not even thought about, such as the types of medications I was on. The person who was behind the counter was also very friendly and helpful! I've never had any problems with appointment times. All in all I was very pleased with how I was treated and how my case was being handled. The office was very clean and laid out very nicely, with ample parking. I really cannot say anything negative about my experience here and I look forward to a resolution of my claim. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that if you are a Veteran and you need assistance, you should go to one of the Veterans Service Centers and if you come to this one on North Winchester, please ask for Carissa.

Good food, nice military people, and dancing afterwards with DJ playing classic songs by Elvis, Sinatra, Anne Murray with line dancing, and other songs by request. I love the song Tequila! Remember that from Pee-wee Herman playhouse days? They also use this space as rental of people who needs to host events. They have their own parking lot here. If you have anyone in military, see if they want to join the American Legion to volunteer and mingle with others. You can learn a lot from others. I see nice bonding opportunities with fathers and sons or mothers and daughters. Every American Legions needs new members as each year older military veterans pass on. This year 12 people passed away which is sad as the bell tolls during roll call when their name is called, no one answers and they ring the bell . It's a nice way to honor their duty in serving their country. They may be gone, but they will not be forgotten. Bless you all brave American soldiers! So go support your local American legion and donate. Oh also outside they have a Little Library box, which is nice to donate books and also take a book if you like.

I Never answer phone…read morecalls without Caller ID but when I call the number back from my own phone without Caller ID to see who called I get a recording saying it is American Veteran's Care Association. I have been unable to reach these people on the phone number listed here to ask them to stop calling me. And every time I block one phone number these jerks call back from another phone number without Caller ID. They seem to be Blatantly and Maliciously Harassing me since they have called at least three times a day for the last few weeks. It doesn't matter how many different, random phone numbers without Caller ID, these jerks Will Not Get Through to Me. But I will report every single call, label them as SCAM ARTISTS, Phishing/SPAM and Block the number. I would NEVER In a Milion Years make a donation to ANY Charity based on a phone call from a Random phone number with NO CALLER ID, EVER. But if these jerks continue to Maliciously Harass me by calling my phone number, I will file a Harassment Complaint Against them and seek damages for it. Stop Calling Me. Your Phone Calls Will Get You Nowhere!!!!!!!
