It was $100 just to get in the door. All I understand they did was take a temperature and put hands on her. The possible bill was a range and on the list of tests/services/procedures there was no individual pricing. The base of what they wanted to do started just under $900 then "worst case scenario" was over $4700! Turns out she just had giardia, easily found with simple fecal. I really didn't like the lack of pricing for individual services. The people were very nice, I have nothing but good things to say about staff and I know the business model wasn't their choice.

Animal Medical Center does not care about your dog!!!! Do…read morenot leave your dog here and expect them to be taken care of!!! I drop my dogs off for boarding and despite me asking several times they never stopped using the leash that was choking the neck of my tiny Italian greyhound. The third day of boarding I visited and noticed a lump on his neck and he was having trouble breathing. The doctor on duty assured me she would keep a close eye on him and make sure it didn't get any larger, unfortunately this did not happen. May I add that I was the one who found the lump (golf ball sized) they never even looked twice at him long enough to notice. I showed up the following day and his neck had tripled in size and no one alerted me. They did not even bother to take the paper collar around his neck off that was cutting off circulation. He was in so much pain he was wheezing and whimpering. I stressed how disappointed I was there was not an eye kept on my dog and the kennel attendant responded " you are right I will let them know to keep a closer eye next time" what if there had not been a next time? What if your neglect and mishandling cost him his life? I firmly believe if I did not take my dog immediately to receive emergency medical attention that he would not be alive. We are currently doing multiple forms of testing to figure out how he obtained the lump and how to treat it. I will attach photos.

Ginger has been given excellent care including laser treatments for a hip issue caught early on, which helped our little girl tremendously. We have only had a few issues outside of routine visits and were always able to get in to see someone. Unfortunately, my dog was misdiagnosed here. When I called and said the problem was still…read moreoccurring, they told me to continue the medication rather than come in. I continued to use the medication as directed by the vet and when we finished it with no improvements, we were referred to the eye specialist. Sadly for my dog, it was too late- what was misdiagnosed as conjunctivitis ended up being glaucoma and he was blind in that eye. His eye pressure in that eye was 58, nearly 3x the normal amount. The specialist said even a pressure of 20 is the higher end of normal and should've been treated for glaucoma. I called back Animal Health Clinic to get his pressure at the time of our appointment and it was 22- I am highly disappointed that the "professionals" did not catch this. I will forever regret having put my trust in them.
