We didn't have a reservation for the night because we were trying to go to Hugo's but the wait was crazy. After going to another restaurant with a long wait, we ended up booking a reservation for 6 at Vetro while walking there. The service was excellent and so was the food. I loved the vegan lasagna! Very pleased to see the plant based option. 3 people in our party ordered the Penne Allá Vodka and they all loved it. We had 3 year old with us and they do have kid pasta options not on the menu. I'm back in town so of course I have to eat at Vetro 1925! I brought two friends this time. I ordered Pappardelle Alla Bolognese. It was perfect. The noodles are made in house and they really tasted fresh. The meat sauce was stupendous and they ground the meat themselves. This dish was truly one of the best. One friend got lasagna with chicken thigh meat. He loved it and could only eat half because it was such a large portion. Another friend ordered the lobster ravioli. He was disappointed with the cream sauce and didn't recall the menu mentioning a large shrimp or asparagus. Honestly, the menu said all this. The order was accurate. We also had a very flavorful bottle of Franciscan Cabernet. It paired nicely. We started with a meat/ cheese tray. It was only $20, could easily feed 5 or 6 and was very good. The meats and sausages were very tasty. It was a perfect way to start this meal. Our server was very professional and attentive. There were two tables of 10 plus college students eating at Vetro. The dining room was very loud due to the students. Otherwise a perfect dining experience. I love this place. read more

Bait and switch. Online menu clearly states papperadelle bolognese upon arrival menu reflects rigatoni. Pretty disappointing as that is why we came. Mozzarella app was good. Bread was overcooked. The pastas were good. I thought the little crusty edges of the lasagna would be the best part but they just tasted charred so I ate around them. Our server did check and I didn't complain so that is on me. When it was clear we were done eating our server filled every water glass in the dining room but ours before coming to assist us with our take home and bill. read more

Beautiful restaurant with amazing service and customer service. I got their soup of the day and pistachio martini which were both recommended by my waiter. Loved them both as they were so unique in flavor and taste. For the entree I got the lobster ravioli and shrimp. Unfortunately upon receipt the ravioli was a bit raw however when I asked my waiter to reheat it the flavor was bitter. The ravioli is very creamy and It definitely has a lemon flavor to it which I personally like. I definitely recommend this restaurant as it was amazing as far as service and vibe. read more

It was a bit slow to get food. Lasagna was good but not great - very rustic. Caesar salad was good but a bit salty. Waitress asked if I would like bread with my meal. I said yes. She brought the tiniest tastiest slices with a great garlic oil mixture - I assumed it came with meal but was $7 which was $7 more than expected. Focaccia bread was best part of the meal. So glad I found Vetro 1925! Friendly service greeted us as we were brought to our tables in this cozy Italian eatery not far from campus. While I didn't start with a cocktail, I couldn't help but notice the great cocktail options and extensive bourbon menu - something I will definitely dive into on a future visit. But let's get to the food! We started with the delicious focaccia bread and the very generous antipasto platter that was more than three of us could finish. We split a single Cesar salad that was creamy and loaded with crunchy croutons and capers (which were a nice touch). But the star of the evening was the chicken with farfalle pasta that was among the best Italian dishes I've had in a long time - mama Mia!! read more

First time coming here and it did not disappoint. My partner and I split the Insalata Di Stagione as an appetizer and I got the Penne Alla Vodka for my entree which I highly recommend. I also got an old fashioned which was good even with their house bourbon. If you really want to spend money they have some more expensive bourbon options which are probably better. The service was great and the restaurant itself is nice and quiet with dim lighting and great atmosphere for date night or small group dinner. read more

What a great restaurant with fantastic food. We had the famous pork chop (it's huge! And delicious!) and pasta with bolognese. Both great choices but I think the pork chop is a must try. The salads were great, too! And I hey have great non alcoholic mocktails that are worth trying! The service was excellent and the restaurant has a very nice ambiance, reservation probably would have been nice but we got lucky and got seated at the bar. I was visiting Arkansas and decided to take a ride to Fayetteville. We called the restaurant to see if they had seating at the bar since they were booked for Valentine's Day. It's the best bar experience and service I ever had. Our bartendar/server Hana was awesome. Great customer service and her specialty cocktail was the perfect recommendation for me. She recommended to us the Lobster ravioli and Penne with Scallops (Best I ever had, perfectly seasoned and melts in your mouth). If I visit Fayetteville in the future, I will be bringing a group back because they all wanted to sample the food after my review post meal. Try to book reservations, but if it's 2-3 people the bar is definitely an option. read more

I was visiting from Texas this weekend and took my son here for dinner. Very nice restaurant in a beautiful, historic building. Front of the house folks were great. Our server was great. The food was good but not great. I had the Lasagna di Vegetali - which was a bit dry and served lukewarm. Maybe it was reheated? My son had the Pollo con Farfalle - also good but not great. The service was excellent and the best thing about the restaraunt. The staff made accommodations for us without a reservation at the bar. And were so nice and welcoming which does not always happen if you don't have reservations. And we received excellent service at the bar and did not feel like we were at the bar. The glass of Pinot was excellent and the Shirley Temple was one of the best we have had. This is the reason for the 4 star review as I thought the service was 5 stars! The restaraunt was within walking distance to our hotel and had a great ambience. It reminded me of a trendy restaraunt that you might find in NYC, but with a small town feel. Unfortunately, I can't give the food 5 stars. I thought it was really overpriced and not very good. We had the two different spaghetti options and split a salad. I recommend this place if you are prioritizing trendy, with good service and a good cocktail, then this is the place for you. If you are prioritizing really good Italian food, then you may want to consider looking elsewhere. You do need a reservation. read more

The flavors layered through the pallet...shrimp, lobster, cream, the saffron gave it a Pop... The Calamari could have been crunchier, but I like everything charred, & crispy !! Unfortunately, I would give zero stars, if possible. I don't normally leave bad reviews but this was an awful meal. We came for a date and had heard great things about this place in good hopes. We had both ordered a drink and an entree and shared a salad. The only thing that was good was the bread and the alcohol if I'm being honest. We ordered the Caesar salad and it was awful and had no dressing or anything and the toppings were a little odd. I had the cannelloni which had little to no flavor, I ate a giant piece of artichoke that was so chewy. Then, my boyfriend ordered the Ravioli di Aragosta and it was so fishy. I could smell it across the table and felt sick when I tried a bite of it because the fishy smell was so overwhelming. And to top it all off, our waitress did not even ask us how our food was, not once. I think she already knew by how we had only taken 2 bites of our $120 dollar meal and was more interested in getting a tip. We were ready to get out of there to say the least. Not what it used to be. Food is still good. I think if you let the server know you have to be at a play at the WAC, they intentionally slow down your order. The female server we had was not attentive at all. I arrived at 5pm and told her we had to be leaving at 7pm. The rest of our party arrived at 5:15. She did not even come to greet us or take our drink order until 5:30. So we told her again, we ordered our drinks and all our food together. Our food finally arrived at 6:50. Then I couldn't get her to bring our tab so I went to the back and gave them my credit card. No apologies, no nothing!!! And btw we were never offered any bread. Hire people that like to work with people and have a caring attitude. You won't find it here at least with this server. Never again for me!!! read more

First time in AR and a friend recommended this place. Vetro 1925 did not disappoint. The food was incredible. Extensive wine list. The chef's mix of imported Italian cured meets and house-made sausage was incredible. Loved the calamari. I'm not a fan of polenta, but the Agnello was great. All of the flavors were distinctive, yet blended together so well. It seemed to be a busy night, but we were not forgotten. Always attentive and checking in. The staff was excellent, especially Marquis. I'd recommend this to place to anyone. Definitely my favorite place in AR so far. read more

I went this week for the first time. I had the lobster ravioli and all I could taste was lemon in the ravioli, as if the filling was lemon. In no way could I taste the lobster. Price and quality don't align. We ordered the cheese plate which came only with cheese, olives, and peppers. There were no crackers or bread - or honey or preserves. And the presentation was very unsophisticated. The Caesar salad was ok at best. The dressing was good, but the lettuce was rusted and the protein options are lacking. They only have white cloth napkins; no black napkins for dark pants. The woman's restroom is not handicap accessible, was not clean, and is of the quality of a bar - not a restaurant that serves $40 entrees. Hard pass for me for next time. read more

I recently went early evening with the family (including a 5 y/o and teenager) during the holidays. It's a nice restaurant, big bar in front of you're early for a reservation or waiting on a table, there aren't many tables but there appeared to also be a downstairs (party room? Extra tables? Unsure). The service was very good. Our waitress provided her recommendations and accurately noted all of the accommodations. The drinks were good- from wine menu selection to the cocktails. The menu was limited as it was the holidays, but there was still an ample selection. There was a salad on the menu I saw online that wasn't included that I had wanted to try. The onion soup (an Italian take on French onion but thicker and which a cheese crisp instead of bread and covered in melted cheese). I enjoyed the consistency but it was far too salty (not unusual with onion soup). The ravioli was delicious. There was a proper amount of stuffing so the meat to pasta ratio was appropriate. It was a browned butter "sauce" and needed a bit more as it was a tad dry. The house focaccia was very good and definitely recommend with the flavored oil. Procuitto was good quality. I believe it said it was served with burrata but it was mozzarella slices, still very good. The carbonara is real traditional carbonara and was delicious. I highly recommend this dish. The fish got rave reviews. The sun dried tomato cream sauce that was on the chicken farfalle was very good. If you are looking for a good date night or nicer family dinner, I would recommend this restaurant. read more

My hubby chose this place as it showed up on Open Table, and we hadn't tried it. It was a great choice! I started off with a Pomegranate Spiked Italian Soda. It was very smooth, and it would've been very easy to drink several! We were served some warm Rosemary, garlic bread and oil...delicious! My husband ordered the NY Strip, and I ordered the chicken dish. I also added a salad. It was all so delicious! Hubby said his steak was perfect. It was served with lobster whipped mashed potatoes and roasted cauliflower. As he was finishing up, he mentioned how he wished he could have more of those potatoes. He liked the cauliflower too, which is saying a lot, as 1) this was his first time eating cauliflower, and 2) he's very picky about his vegetables. My chicken dish was excellent. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, and was served on house made bow tie pasta with a creamy sauce with sun-dried tomatoes. I didn't get a pic of my salad, but it was so good. It had pickled veggies (green beans, carrots, cauliflower), and kalamata olives, and had a very light dressing. We both ordered dessert. Hubby got the tiramisu, and I got the lemon-ricotta cheesecake. YUM! Our waiter was very good. Attentive without being intrusive. He offered suggestions and was very helpful with questions. The waitstaff overall was good. I didn't see anyone left waiting for much of anything. We're both looking forward to coming back.
