I take vet cab 3 times a week to Detroit greyhound station from wIndsor. . when I first started going, I was paying $50 to get across the border. Couple of drivers told me it's $60 which I've been doing and then two days ago a driver told me $70. worst part of it all is I have to listen to the drivers complain about how terrible of a fare it is. 99% of their drivers are horrible. Cut you off, dirty cabs, and just break road laws going the wrong direction down a street to save time, blow stop signs and red lights. Tonight Vets cab #127 will park across 2 to 3 parking spots blocking them for regular customers at a store to use claiming if he parks normally his customer will think he left. Kind of rude to think your customer isn't smart enough to see a cab in a parking spot and not realize its their cab. read more

Cab # 92 is a bad cab driver he literly told me that the customer is wrong. He took the long way home and when i comented on it he got defensive and said he was right and i was wrong. Then i got upset and said he was a bad cab driver and should alway go the way the customer wants to go. Such rudeness! Driver talked non-stop on his cell phone so loudly the entire trip I finally had to tell him to quit talking so we could pay him! And how about they use their GPS system instead of wanting us to direct them! So fed up with this company that is supposed to be representing our city! read more

Absolutely horrible. I pre-booked a cab for 7:00 at around 6:00 on the app. 3 hours passed and there is no update whatsoever, they are still assigning a driver. I feel sorry for anyone who has ever called a cab using their service to get to the airport or train station. read more

Horrendous customer service. Their employees are beyond rude, even when you're being polite and asking a question or trying to locate a driver because you left an item in the cab. They need to redo their entire service department and either retrain them or replace them with professional and courteous people. He was very rude and disrespectful when I ask him to please pull over less then 1/2 a block from the address I gave he yelled at me and told me he wasn't pulling over as it is not my address I gave I told him I wanted to get out and he gave me a hard time. Yesterday my daughter and I both had our Covid vaccine appointments and we had pre-ordered our cab. First, The cab was running late. Second, my daughter included in the order that it's for our vaccines and it was announced that there are free cab rides to and from your home location to get your vaccine. The driver turned on the meter and said NO we have to pay. Third, My daughter called the Vets office to confirm and the driver was still running the meter and being very rude by interrupting my daughter while she was on the phone. My daughter was told that because we are just literally outside the Windsor city (Windsor campground) that we are not in a hot spot. Even though we got our vaccines in Windsor at the nearest place. So because we didn't want to miss our appointment the cab ride 1 way cost $24. And I'm on disability. Nice eh. So watch out for Vets cab when going to get your vaccine so they don't screw you over too! read more

Atrocious! Today, around 5:38 I was allowing a woman in a wheel chair (who was clearly someone with severe disabilities) cross at Techumseh. The cab driver behind me drove around before she was even on the side walk, and he swore at me while he did so. I did not get his plate or cab number in time. However, the Windsor Police were kind enough to direct me to the correct cab company based on my description. I am against racism and discrimination of good people who come here to escape war. However, I have zero tolerance for bad people coming here and abusing us, our people with disabilities, and acting aggressively. That is not acceptable behavior from people born here, I urge vets cabs to train their immigrant employees to be compassionate to people with disabilities. We don't harm and bully people for disabilities here, like they do in their home countries. If people want to come here they should be free from prejudice - but the must ALSO free themselves from their prejudices and accept others. read more

I was born in Windsor but now living in Vancouver and I come back a couple of times a year to visit my mom and family. Due to the early morning departure by train I called a cab instead of getting my elderly mom to drive me. I did not wait long, taxi service sent a text with tracking information for the location of the cab and the driver helped me with luggage both when I was entering the cab and also leaving. He was courteous and friendly. In the past when my parents needed a cab to the train station or airport they always called this company and were happy with the service. I'd use their services again if I needed it. read more

They're HORRIBLE. I cannot exaggerate that word enough. Their service is trash. The VETS CAB DRIVER stole from me and they did NOTHING about it. I Called their customer care and they literally told me "there's nothing we can do about it because he's(the driver) gone home. Also, he said you took your things from the cab when you were leaving" Cleary, I wouldn't be calling if "I took my things" from the cab. The whole experience looked like a horror story mixed with comedy. I couldn't believe what was happening and how poorly they handled the situation. Tried to order cabs for a large group of people, but their service was horrendous. I called three times and it seemed like they had no idea what was going on. Cabs ended up coming, but the drivers were oblivious to just about everything. First and last time I will use this service, stick to Uber. read more

The company has pretty awful customer service. I realized I'd left my purse in the cab and immediately called them; when I went to retrieve it, my wallet was missing. Instead of genuinely helping and inquiring with the driver, VetCab aggressively refused to make any inquiries or hold their employees to any standards of accountability or decency. Call the Vet Cab for the first time. They arrived fast and very polite and friendly and helpful. I am a 70 year old lady with a walker and I could not have asked for a more helpful person and did not rush me to get into the taxi was also very helpful with putting my walker in the trunk and taking it out so that I could walk. When I arrived home the driver saw I had to climb stairs, so he came over and carried my walker up the stairs for me. He didn't have to do that, but was very grateful for it. Will always call Vet Taxi first for my cabs. Very, Very happy customer. read more

Vet's cabs are pretty quick to pick up. The drivers are friendly enough and they take MC debit and cash--though last night my driver tried to tell me he didn't take MC. Their prices seem to keep increasing though. It used to be under $20 to get to my house from the university but now it's about $22--not sure if that's to compensate for gas prices or minimum wage increases. They have flat rates for outside Windsor. I think it's $50 to get to Amherstburg. Overall they're decent. read more

transportation within the City of Windsor. Well, I called Vets Cab, Dec. 14, 2017 asked that a cab be sent to the senior citizens bldg on Rivard. The wait was not long and the driver a very nice man. Upon leaving the cab once reaching my destination, I forgot my bag on the floor which contained running shoes, some clothes, and most importantly, my medication for my heart. Once I realized that, I immediately called Vet's Cab at which time, I was hurt and disappointed. Vets said, no one has turned anything in. When telling them of my medications, they could care less. Made a 2nd call about 2-3 hrs later, only to be told the same answer. What has society come to when a business catering to people and their transportation just sluff us, senior's off without even making an effort to contact the driver of the vehicle that picked me up. These drivers are very unsafe. Many times I have encountered their drivers, and they do not think the rules of the road apply to them. Vets cab is terrible, it could've just been the one driver in particular but it was the worst cab experience I've ever had. My girlfriend and I were at a wedding at the Ciociaro Club heading back home to Woodslee (15 mins away). We had told the driver this from the beginning and he just let the meter run. So when we arrived the meter was at $36, I proceeded to give him $40 and said keep the $4 tip. This was not enough, he pulled out his book and said it would be $57, I refused to pay such an absurd price and he called the police on us. The police finally showed up about 45 mins later and we decided to pay the extra $17 to avoid any lawsuit or future problems. All in all, worst taxi cab experience ever. Moral of the story, if you want a fair price or exactly what's on the meter don't call vets cab, ever. They will try to scam you. read more

Took a Veteran Cab from the airport to home after a four leg trip. Had several dishes in one of the suitcases that made the trip from Newfoundland to Windsor unbroken, only to have the cab driver put the suitcase in the back in a way that ensured it fell to the ground - and broke the dishes - when the back was opened. The suitcase I put in the back stayed where it was. Fucker broke one of my wife's childhood dishes that had been in the family for generations! read more

The worst customer service ever. I would honestly not even give a 1 star for their poor customer service. When I arrived at 10 pm at the via rail station, I attempted to take a taxi to my destination. When I sat in the cab, the cabbie refused to drive me after I told him my destination and then went on to say he doesn't take credit cards. My destination was 1.2 km away and I didn't have any cash. After I got out of he taxi, he told the other taxi driver what my destination was and that I wanted to pay via credit and not cash. After this, 3 taxi drivers claimed they didn't take credit card either. Finally, one taxi driver agreed to drive me. When I paid this taxi driver, I included a 15% tip. I had injured my knees a few days prior and asked him to help me with my luggage, a request he ignored. I then left the taxi and opened the trunk and got my luggage out. So what did I just tip this guy for?? It was the worst service ever. I would never take a Vets taxi. USE UBER INSTEAD!! You can rate the driver, so there customer service is always on point!
