We have since downsized, so for about two years, this lovely sofa has received daily abuse. I called the folks at TLC Experts to see if they could help resurrect the 12 year old beast. TLC Experts are primarily known for their expert flood damage restoration work but they also provide more pedestrian services such as cleaning of carpets, oriental rugs, and battle weary sofas. A short while later a bright red and gold TLC Experts van was sitting in my driveway. Bye the way, the TLC van was spotless and shiny. That's always a good sign. A very professional young tech named Vinny was soon examining the piece, and pointing out to me various facts about my sofa, and the process he would use to bring it back to life. Vinny explained that because of the down filling, and the type of fabric, he would be using a special solution for this job. When all was said and done, the sofa looked like new to my eye.
