Review One thing…read morethat has been bothering us for almost a year is the lack of new growth with our 2 sago palms due to the aggressive frond defoliation done by Leo (Owner) and (his son) Oscar. One saga palm is over 50 years old and the other is approximately 25 years old. Both sago palms have been through hard weather and freeze then recovered with nice new growth. However, there has been zero new growth. Mistakes Made Defoliating Sago Plants * Removing all the fronds from a sago palm seriously harmed the palms. * The sago palms lost the ability to photosynthesize, so they can't produce food. * No new fronds for 11+ months Mulching Done Wrong * Doing mulch wrong can absolutely kill plants. * The most common mistake is "volcano mulching" piling mulch against tree trunks or plant stems--which traps moisture, rots the bark, and invites pests. My husband noticed this volcano-like mounds around both sago palms. No Solutions Offered * Email sent with photos * Phone calls made * One phone call to Stanley seemed promising then radio silence. * No offer for replacement * No offer to remove the sago palms. * Safe Disposal Warning * Extreme Toxicity: Sago palms contain cycasin, a potent toxin that is deadly to dogs, cats, and horses. * Safe Handling: Wear heavy work gloves and long sleeves. They came the next day, Jose and Edgar, look at what's going on and work on the fix right away. I had 4 roof repair companies come out to give me an estimate. It turned out, I had a leak around one pipe jack. Most gave me the option to seal around or replace the whole pipe jack and seal. The prices varied, but a coupe wanted to charge me double the others for pipe jack replacement. Finally, I got one last quote from José at Legendary Roofing. He gave me such a detailed explanation of the repair and my options. He charged me the same as the lower end quotes I received for the pipe jack replacement, but he also replaced all the pipe jacks on my house and did roof maintenance for that price. He also noticed some broken shingles from a tree rubbing against my house and replaced that too, all for a great price. I felt like he cared and took his time. And he showed me detailed pictures of everything done. Now, in 2020, he was the only one I called when I had a leak in a new area. He provided great detail, showed pictures of what was happening and showed me in my attic as well where a potential new leak could happen. He even gave me the option to seal the problem children for free versus replacing the plywood and shingles. I went with his recommendation to replace the plywood and shingles, and he also included some vents to my attic/roof for the cost. The repair was complete two days later.

We were told that we had an issue with a particular beetle and to do a deep root treatment. We did do this, spending over 1k. About five months ish later, we noticed that one of the trees was losing branches. Before I made the decision to do anything with the tree I wanted arbor tree to come out and relook at it to see if it could be saved with additional treatment. They scheduled us for a few weeks and that day that they were supposed to show up they cancelled. They then rescheduled for a few weeks later and again that day they cancelled. (I think there might have been a days notice on one of them.) I understand new clients feel like a priority especially with the wind and weather. But I would think that a client that has already spent money would be somewhat prioritized from a customer sense and also it didn't feel great to be canceled twice on short notice perhaps because they were doing follow up. Either way, I couldn't wait an additional month. I am disappointed overall in the full circle experience and can nor recommend.
