I called Brightspeed (who took over our CenturyLink account) and all they could tell me was that I needed to increase speed (we are already maxed at 10 mg download) because we have too many devices using the internet (two laptops and two smart phones, no gaming). Could not convince the agent otherwise, so I asked to have a tech come to our home and all the agent could say was that it would cost $100 and they would not be able to tell us any different. So I asked to speak with a supervisor. The agent supposedly transferred me to the supervisor's phone where we were on "ignore" (i.e., hold) for 60+ minutes (yes, over an hour) without the supervisor ever taking our call. Rotten technical service. And they are, apparently, the only land-based business in the area.

No one ever answers the Platteville office phone, and if you're lucky enough to catch someone they will put you on hold and then hang up. I went in to resolve issues and was not greeted at the door, was told that they couldn't do anything to help me at that office. Waste of my time. They have tons of 800 numbers with very nice but unhelpful people who will just tell you to unplug and restart your modem. My internet was out for over a week, multiple technicians not showing up to the repair appointment. The customer service 800 numbers just kept telling me he was on his way, ended up waiting 8 hours and no show or call to explain. Best they could do was reschedule. It is barbaric to have to pay for internet when it isn't even working and they are in no hurry to fix it!!! It took 3 missed technicians for them to finally send someone out to my house. I argued for a credit to my account for the days I went without internet. You need to be authoritative to get anywhere with this company.

Jason does this in an excellent manner. By limiting his services to cremation he is able to provide the complete assistance needed while making the services as affordable as possible. If you have decided on cremation you will not find a better place to call. He does an excellent job with this. If you review his website he is clear what he provides and what it costs. I do not know of another funeral director in the region who is this forthright and transparent. He has things structured so you get what you need without inflating the charges with things not essential. We are extremely pleased at how painless he made taking care of things. He discussed with us what had to happen and who was responsible. He did most of the things needed for us. We got thru the process in a matter of days without feeling pushed but feeling cared for in a way that made the process very simple and comforting. We highly recommend him and know you will not be disappointed by his assistance. There are things that can make this very difficult time very trying and if you have Jason help he will see that everything is taken care of in a timely and appropriate manner. I cannot help but emphasis I do not think things could have been done better.
