Prices here are fairly high. Items that we would normally get at the grocery store by our house was a couple dollars more at most. There's a small Starbucks counter when you walk in to the right. It is right by the produce area. The only thing I like here are the aisle maps on the carts. The prices at this location seem higher than the one in Howell. Not a great idea to buy vitamins from here. Basic dried fruits are expensive as well. I paid nearly $90 for lesson two small bags of groceries. I'll be at almost $40 of it was for some supplements. They charged almost $15 for a pack of toilet paper. They also up charge for the alcohol pads five dollars, at least from what the sign said on the shelf. read more

This is the cleanest place to get groceries at Intown. The staff is wonderful and always there to answer any questions you might have.

The pharmacy erroneously dispensed the wrong medication. I was ingesting the wrong medicine for over three weeks. My doctor was the one who noticed it was not the correct prescription, though it had a similar spelling. My doctor called the pharmacy and verified it had been an error on their end. The medication I was given could have potentially caused fainting, swollen limbs, and even heart attack. There was no recourse other than a simple apology from the pharmacist. read more

I was buying lunch meat at the deli. Employee slicing meat and not wearing a mask, so I asked for an employee who was wearing a mask to slice meat. 2 employees not wearing masks stood over the slicer while meat was being sliced breathing over meat. I asked the manager who also was not wearing a mask what the policy is for people working the deli regarding masks. He said it is recommended but not required. I said are they vaccinated, he said it is recommended but not required. So no way to know if person slicing your meat without a mask is vaccinated or not. read more

For a local grocery store the availability of goods is very low. I think nobody is there to stack shelves as I've been there a few times and every time it has been poor with bare shelves. The customer service is horrendous and not once has there been a helpful person near the check outs. Even if you live close spend the extra time driving another grocery store because ultimately you won't get what you want here. Walmart on Owen road would be better or even the bigger VG across the road which I have never had a problem with. read more

I will never use VGs fast lane or shop at any VGs grocery store ever again. Had a pick up and when I got home an item was missing that I was charged for (happen to be the most expensive item purchased). I called the store to get a refund and the grocerier assigned said she packed it in the bag so we will get no refund. That's great but it never made it into my truck. VG's is alright in my book. Sure, they don't have a huge selection - especially of hard to find items. Sure, their produce department isn't really that impressive and SERIOUSLY lacks organics, seriously! And surely their prices are a bit outrageous compared to some of the huge chains in the area. BUT you gotta appreciate that they are not one of the giant corporations, it's keeping it local. You gotta love their baked goods! They always offer some type of amazing sales, you gotta find 'em. You definitely get a good 'ol Fenton feel when shopping here. Their service is certainly on point, they're always willing to lend a helping hand. Get to the 50% off rack in the front, amazing bread and donuts and whatever else for half-price, can't be beat! Always grab a dumdum, there's never a shortage of those!! read more

Vgs pharmacy on Leroy has always been my favorite pharmacy. The staff is always friendly, helpful, informative and they seen to genuinely care about their customers. I've gone to other big store pharmacies in the area and have never been treated as well as I am treated at the Leroy st Vgs pharmacy. Thanks ladies, keep up the good work. read more
