He called me back promptly with a diagnosis of the problem and informed me that they were "Leaf Roller" moth larvae and would disperse once they turn into moths. He further assured me that they will not kill the trees and that new leaf growth will come back when they leave. Jim then made a referral to someone in the area licensed to spray insecticide and promptly texted me his contact information. He did all this without charging me and was a pleasure to talk to. February 2018, I got slammed by the county with an outrageous price for a grossly incompetent job ($1428 to bring the manzanitas within tolerance) on my vacant lot that failed reinspection, again, just six months later - manzanitas don't grow THAT quickly. So, I searched around and found Anthony. He graciously admitted that the job was too much for just him and referred me to Mountain Tree Service which did the job well. After that, I've ALWAYS had Anthony do the maintenance. He's always friendly and responds QUICKLY - even when, on AT LEAST two occasions, I've called him, mid-May, in a PANIC, having forgotten that the maintenance was due!
