This is my new favorite pizza in the Denver area. Amazing Detroit style pizza with combinations that are so delicious. (Ambassador bridge is my personal favorite) they clearly use fresh ingredients and you can taste the quality. From the buttery thick crust to the savory toppings this pizza is truly exceptional. The staff here is amazing as well, we generally order pick up but decided to stop in late one evening and opted to sit at the bar. The bartender on duty was talkative and friendly, and made our dining experience even better. The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable with a section both for restaurant seating and bar seating, though they kind of mix with each other. If you are a fan of pizza do yourself a favor and try Via 313. read more

I was really excited to try their GF Elote pizza and was very disappointed. It was WAYYYYYYY too salty. It took a while for the pizza to get to us so I really didn't say anything about a replacement because we were on a time crunch. It felt like lots of salt and tajin (has salt) so it was just too much for me. Once we started working on our pizza, we ended up ordering a slice of cheese which took forever too. I really wanted to like this place!! Back story... I stopped in on a Friday afternoon, around 12:45. The place is not that busy. The sign at the front says to wait to be seated. One of the staff (blonde girl) walks up to th me stand, puts menus in the holder, and walks away. No greeting, no eye contact, nada! About 3 minutes later, another member of staff (male) says someone will be right with me. After a couple more minutes, I am asked if I want to sit at the bar or a table. I chose table (I wanted a pizza and the room to spread out) and off we go. This may have been my downfall... So I am sat down and the male staff member gives me a menu and says my server will be right over. She comes over from behind the bar (blonde girl from before) and is super friendly, explaining the menu and takes my drink order. She the comes back with my beer, along with a flyer with a QR code for me to sign up for their loyalty program (I will then get $10 off my first order). I figure that's a good deal and after she takes my food order (2 small "Detroiter Pizza" for $10 a pie, as it is "313" day (March 13th)), I download the app and sign up. Here is where the really frustrating part comes up. I sit a and wait over 35 minutes for my pizza to arrive. Now there was food presented to me multiple times during my wait, but it wasn't my order (cheese pizza paraded around to multiple tables). I finally am brought my to-go pizza (I had ordered 2 smalls - 1 to eat there, 1 for takeaway), but waited another 15 minutes for my actual meal. During this time, no one comes by to check on my table or ask if I need anything (beer glass has been empty for 10 minutes). The male staff member asks multiple tables around me if all was good and if they need anything, but suspiciously skips asking me. So I finally just call out to him and ask if my pizza is still coming out or not. To the actual pizza.... It was FANTASTIC (which makes me leaving this 1 star review hard). I thoroughly enjoyed the crust, the cheese, and the sauce on top and even with all the issues already laid out, I'd thought I would likely return. But... here is why I will not. When I checked my banking app earlier today, I have 2 charges from Via 313. The first charge is what I signed for via their mobile device that was brought to my table, but the second is for $18 and change and I have no idea what that is about? With this many cock-ups and shady charges, I simply cannot recommend Via 313! read more

Our experience at Via 313 was fantastic. We popped in on a whim after running to World Market. We shared a small pizza and a salad, and it ended up being the perfect amount. Our server, Bella, was incredibly friendly and gave great recommendations - both the pizza and salad were excellent. When they found out it was our first visit, they even surprised us with a complimentary dessert: cinnamon roll bread, which was absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back! read more

As far as Detroit style pizza, this is one of the best in my opinion! I ordered the Carnivore, it was loaded up, and the crust, crunchy and buttery. It was (and leftovers) delicious! My wife ordered the Classic Pepperoni, it was a struggle to find an pepperoni though. I know it is cooked under the cheese but the meat was mostly not, it was more a cheese pizza. We sat off the bar and the bartender was friendly and attentive. WARNING: the booths over there are raised, my wife was going to go to the restroom to wash her hands and BOOM, landed on the floor after missing the step down. Most places that have a raised booth like that have it marked really well. We will not be sitting in one of those booths again. We will be back for sure, lots of options to try yet. read more

*CELIAC / GLUTEN FREE REVIEW I wanted to love this place soooo much, but i did get very very sick shortly after finishing my pizza :( I ordered the bobo Brazil and like other reviews mention - amazing crust, great flavor, definitely one of the better GF pizzas I've had. I ate two of the four slices, and had some of the GF cinnamon sticks. Everything came out marked with a wooden GF stick, and the waiter was very kind in telling me how all orders would be marked as an allergy and that the kitchen takes precautions for celiac. I'm not sure what happened, and thankfully based on other GF reviews hopefully I am the fluke - but I did want to warn others that as a sensitive celiac I did get sick. read more

So happy, so sad! We had a Via back home in Tempe, AZ and I fell in LOVE with this pizza but it closed down last year so I was devastated. So happy that they exist here in CO and my son lives here. This location in Centennial delivers the same great quality Detroit- style pizza I'd had before. We had the Classic Cheese and Ambassador Bridge (pepperoni, sausage, garlic, oregano, ricotta). This place made me realize that Detroit style pizza might be my favorite kind of pizza. I was in town visiting friends and we stopped by for dinner. We were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess and taken to our table, where our equally friendly waitress welcomed us. We enjoyed our food and even the manager came by to say hello. Everyone here was so warm and I have never felt more welcome. I do not know if the staff is naturally this kind or if being around such delicious food makes everyone happier, but whatever the reason, I am glad to be part of it. The Food: I ordered The Original Pepperoni and it was one of the best decisions I made on that trip. It was crisp, cheesy, and exactly what I needed in that moment. I do not think I could have made a better choice. My friends ordered The Herbivore and felt the same way. It is easy to say that you cannot go wrong here. We were also lucky enough to try the Cinnamon Sticks. Our waitress brought some over and they were the perfect way to end the meal. The Vibes: The space is roomy with plenty of tables inside and outside. We sat inside and enjoyed the Detroit inspired decor. Despite the great dining experience, I found one major flaw. I checked the location finder on their website and the nearest one to my hometown is still in another state. Another chapter in our "these places didn't survive in AZ" tour, Via 313 was a must-stop as my wife loved this place when it was in Tempe. I hadn't really known anything about "Detroit-style" pizza before, and their Ambassador Bridge was well-executed and had just the right amount of the right toppings on it, with carmelized cheese at the edges. For those who don't know: "Detroit-style pizza is known for its rectangular shape and sauce across the top. Baked in a heavy pan similar to the auto parts trays found in Detroit in the 1940's, the light, focaccia-like dough develops a golden crunch on the bottom." They put the sauce on just before serving to help develop the crispness of the dough. I joked with the family that we drove ~800 miles to get here: this was our first stop in the Denver area after driving all day from AZ. Even *before* heading to our hotel because we wanted to get in before they closed for the night. The pizza was great and service was good even though they were cleaning up and winding down for the night (just a large party in the corner and a handful of customers at the bar and in booths). Tip: get the Ambassador Bridge : "Natural Casing Pepperoni, Sausage, Fresh Garlic, Oregano, House-Made Ricotta" We had 2 small pizzas for 3 people and it was plenty, though if you have high school kids, all bets are off! :) I am sure I could have eaten two of the large ones myself back then. read more

This was my fifth visit to a Via 313 location. Having recently moved to the area, I was optimistic it would be on par with other locations I've visited (and loved) in Austin, Houston, and Tempe. This Via did not disappoint. Great service and great pies like every other spot. I got the Detroiter, extra crispy edges, and she got the Buffalo Chicken. The Buffalo Chicken was a really fun addition to the menu and I hope it sticks around. We got two hubcaps and there was a minor goof with putting in the order, but we were well compensated for the issue. This month's turtle hubcap is not to be missed. All in all, thrilled to have Via down the street. Will be back very soon. read more

We first tried Via 313 Pizza in Texas and it quickly became our favorite. We've been missing it here in Colorado, but we were happy and excited to find this location. Although stylistically a little different than locations we've been in before, the service and food was just as good as ever! The seating was comfortable, and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. My husband, son, and I decided to share a large Detroit style pizza. Normally my son would eat a small pizza on his own bar by husband and I shared a small. By ordering half-and-half, we saved 7 to 9 dollars. We also ordered the roasted brussels sprouts as an appetizer and they were delicious too! Our half-and-half pizza was half Detroiter, which is pepperoni up, two different kinds and cheese, and half an herbivore, with natural casing pepperoni added. The whole pie was gobbled up quickly! Both were significantly better than other pizza you can get in a walk in place around here. Perfectly crispy, amazing yummy edge and corners. But also a great thick crust dough on the Detroit style. Came here on a Saturday night around 6 and was immediately sat. We were approached by Wiley, who gave us a rundown of the history and the menu. We took Wiley's advice and ordered the artichokes, beet salad and a large pizza, half Cadillac and half Ambassador. Last minute, I ordered the Detroit Duo. We overdid it but it was our first time and everything looked amazing and it was! The crust was amazing (on both the pizza and cheesy bread) marinara was delicious and the ingredients in the beet salad were top grade. Let's talk about the drinks. We each had a smoked peach old fashioned which were amazing and then switched to the Old School which consisted of a Hamms beer and shot of bourbon. I hadn't had a Hamms since high school...easy drinking and the bourbon wasn't half bad for $7! Overall, service was excellent (Thanks Wiley!) and food was awesome. We also ordered the arugula salad of which was delicious and paired perfectly with our beer/cocktail. My husband and I stopped in for the 3rd time today. The service and food has been consistently great. The pizza is truly fantastic. We are fans of thin crust pizza and the "bar style" delivers. The first two visits we had salads plus the bar style plain cheese pizza. Sound boring? This pizza is deliciously crusty with cheese all the way to the edge which creates an additional umami of crusty-cheesiness. Whatever cheese blend they are using is very flavorful. Today, we had that pizza with the addition of mushrooms, green bells and fresh jalapenos. It was so perfect with the veggies chopped fine and well distributed. We stopped at the chef's window (Manzi) to thank him for the quality of food he made for us each time. We have been served by Juan, Wiley and Michael and all were spot on with service. The cheesy bread was delicious- crispy, buttery and cheesy. I would honestly go back just for that. But the pizza was also delicious. My husband got the Elote pizza (their special right now) and was so happy with it. He didn't have leftovers. I got the Hawaiian pizza. It was really tasty however it would be easier to eat with the pineapple cut up instead of rings. My daughter got a cheese pizza which she liked but it would be nice if they had a kids menu. I've been wanting to check out Via 313 for a while now--saw it had killer reviews online, and when I mentioned it to the family, it was game on. Hazel (our 9-year-old pizza critic) made a strong case for Little Caesars on the drive over--said it's the best because "it's chewy and the cheese doesn't come off." Sam wasn't having that. Goldie and Max both lean Mod Pizza. But Dad was paying... so off to Via 313 we went. The space has a cool vibe--feels like a retro diner had a kid with an upscale bar. That Detroit-style pizza? Absolutely lived up to the hype. We kicked it off with the cheese bread and marinara. Mmmmm. Then came the pizzas: Carnivore, Ambassador Bridge, and a classic cheese for the girls. Meg and I shared the Caesar salad (those crispy Parmesan pieces, though). Everything hit. Service was on point--Natalia took great care of us and Wiley, the manager, came by to check in. He even brought out a round of cinnamon sticks on the house, which totally made the everyone's day. So good!!! That kind of service goes a long way. Everything and Then Some! I was in the area looking for a quick slice of pizza and stumbled across Via 313, what a find! From start to finish, the staff was incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience even better. We kept it classic and ordered a cheese and pepperoni Detroit-style pizza, and it absolutely hit the spot. Crispy edges, perfect crust, and just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The artichoke dip was phenomenal, creamy, flavorful, and gone within minutes. The Caesar salad was also a pleasant surprise: fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. But the star of the afternoon? We went during happy hour and ordered a couple cocktails and the artichoke appetizer from it to start out. After seeing all the advertising on social media about the grand opening and making my mouth water at the sight, the boys and I made our way over to Via 313 to get our grub on. It was a 5-star experience - here's why: STAR #1: Located off County Line Road (near I25) and situated near prime shopping, Via 313 is what all of us burbs folks have been wishing for! Good pizza close to home with ample parking! ha! STAR #2: The interior is spacious, yet cozy, oozing all things Detroit - including signage, maps and fun sayings throughout. The space gives off an old school millennial vibe (which is right up my alley), offers checkered patters and fun swag throughout. With tables, booths, spacious bar and outdoor patio, there is plenty of seating for all! STAR #3: We went on opening night, which one might think is insane to do knowing it will be busy AF. However, the staff had everything down to a well-oiled machine! The promotions crew was at the front giving out swag, while the sweet hostess inside controlled the chaos - all with a smile! We were seated quickly and throughout our visit, we were greeted by different employees, eager to educate us on the menu, provide their recommendations, allow tastes of items (those meatballs!), whip up mocktails and provide us with coupons to return!! STAR #4: The food is OUTSTANDING. I'm obsessed with most pizza, but this, this takes the cake for being the best. Not sure if their crust is made out of pure gold or what, but that crunchy, cheesy crust is to die for!! We opted to take advantage of the buy-1-get-1 deal offered that night, and ordered a variety of personal sized pizza to sample as many flavors as we could. There are monthly flavors to consider when ordering, so we opted for the following pizzas: The Detroiter - Smoked Pepperoni under the cheese, Natural Casing Pepperoni on top, um YUM! Classic Cheese - duh. The Herbivore (V) - Mushroom, Onion, Green Pepper, Black Olives but added sausage. We were given a free meatball appetizer which was a great way to taste the house made meatballs! Served with crisp little bread chips, it was a great intro to the menu! We also got 2 side salads - one house and one Ceasar - which were crisp, fresh and yummy. Our pizzas came out in record time, had the best cheese pull and tasted amazing. I STILL dream about that crust, omg! By the time we were finished, we were stuffed full, but will have to try dessert on another visit! First, our server, Kennedy was extremely attentive and gave us great recommendations. The food and cocktails were delicious, I had the Passion Fruit Proposal, my husband had the Peppered Paloma. Sorry no pics, I was in the zone. The beer is super cold, which is always a plus. As for food, we started with the meatball appetizer, again no pictures. You have to try it. Despite my parents being from the Detroit area and not knowing there was a thing as 'Detroit-style' pizza, we're fans of it! Another establishment (closer to home) introduced us and this place showed it can be done just a touch better - not as doughy and with a nice consistency and flavors. Nice amount of sauce on the Detroit style which I really liked. The thin crust was good, but maybe a little soggy by the time it was delivered.
