Buyer beware of deceptive pricing! Phoned ahead for pickup of 2 pizzas. Price on website for the 5120 Arapahoe Road location showed $15.45 for a 12" Mott Street Pie and $17.30 for a 16" Broadway Pie. Was informed that the price was actually $20.29 and $22.65, respectively, more than a 30% increase! i catered Garlic Knots for our guests special night. It was the worse garlic Knots I've ever seen. The dough was flat , all gooey, some were not fully cooked! It looked like they poured garlic butter on top of dough that was not fully baked!!! One full and a half tray, that's 150 garlic knots all wasted! And they didn't even pack spoons for the marinara sauce!! and I specifically asked for spoons. Very disappointed.... I wish I had the picture.... I was too busy with guests and was too embarrassed to even put the garlic knots out! read more

You can't have a business named "The Garlic Knot" and then sell garlic knots that are luke warm, chewy, and overly soaked in butter. This cool little pizza place and Italian restaurant is hidden in the back corner of the shopping center but is a great community eatery with friendly service and carn good pizza. When we arrived we were cheerfully greeted by the staff and were given our choice of where to sit. It was not very busy, but it was a Tuesday night. We started off getting some of their garlic knots. I was impressed right off the start because while the normal order comes with 5 knots, we had a party of 3 so they brought us six so that we could each enjoy two. This is a focus on the customer that you do not see that often. The knots were freshly baked and had great flavor. We ordered a large Madison Square pizza and three house salads with blue cheese. The house salads were a size, reflective of the price of the salad. The lettuce was a nice mix and was crisp and fresh. Topped with cucumber, tomatoes, and croutons on the side, it was a great mix of veggies. The blue cheese dressing was very good, and they gave you a nice amount of it so that your salad was perfectly dressed. The Madison Square pizza was very good with a nice New York style crust. It had pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green bell pepper, red onions, and extra cheese. When they say extra cheese they are not kidding, it was the perfect amount for me. The large was a great size for three and we still had pizza to take home and enjoy. If for some amazing reason you still have room, the cinnamon sugar knots are a great treat at the end of the meal. They come with some delicious frosting on the side, so you can decide if you need the extra flavor, I thought that they were great without the frosting. I am happy that we continue to explore new places and that we found The Garlic Knot. It is great to find restaurants like this that are hidden away, but are community gems. read more

Two times, you're out! We ordered pizza about a month ago and toppings were super scant and the garlic knots were teeny and undercooked. I thought maybe it was just the staff that evening so we decided to give it another try tonight. Because the pizza is so expensive, we decided to do the take a bake from them to save a few bucks. Again, super scant on the toppings (like 1/2 a Roma tomato) on a large pizza. Totally not worth the extra $. Will buy from Papa Murphy's from now on. read more

Stopped in today for a quick bite to eat on their lunch menu. One slice of cheese pizza add a topping for $.85 and a house salad. Delicious outstanding food extremely fresh. The salad came out first and it was a full house, salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions Parmesan cheese and very fresh. The slice of cheese pizza with pepperonis on it was hot crispy and delicious. How much smaller can portions get and how much more expensive can the prices get on these super- undersized portions? This is ridiculous. My wife picked up several pies last Tuesday, October 3rd. When she got home I was the first to open up the boxes and set up my plate. We sat down in the family room to enjoy the pizza with a cold beer and watch a movie. While I'm enjoying my dinner I realize that there is something in my mouth besides the pizza. I start feeling around inside my mouth, full of food, and pull out a piece of hair roughly four inches long. I don't know about you but that was enough for me to throw out the rest of my dinner. Now comes the good part, I never intended to leave any feedback. I know that recently there was a new owner and all I wanted to do was call John (new owner) and let him know what happened and possibly suggest hair nets or something for the food preparers and employees in the kitchen. So Wednesday morning I call and ask for John, the girl puts me on hold where I sit for over ten minutes before hanging up. Needing to get to a doctors appointment I decided to wait until I returned to call back. Upon returning home I called back and asked for John and was told he wasn't in. I asked if he had been in at all that day and was told no that he wasn't. Now I'm trying to figure out why I was on hold for over ten minutes earlier but just say thank you I'll call back tomorrow. Thursday rolls around and once again I call for John, I'm put on hold and the person comes back and tells me he's busy...period, didn't offer to take my name and number and have John call me back...just "he's busy ". You can see how, at this point, I'm starting to get a little bit annoyed. So I sarcastically say, well if he's "busy" let me for the fourth time call him back and I hang up. So later that evening I make one final attempt to call John, I ask the girl who answered the phone if John was there, she asks who is calling, I give her my name and she starts interrogating me as to the nature of my call. At this point I'm starting to get a little pissed off and ask her if she's John's wife to which she snaps back at me that she's the manager and doesn't appreciate my tone of voice, I tell her I don't appreciate being interrogated like a Nazi war criminal and hang up. I realize that there is no customer service left in our Country anymore and that we live in the (it's all about me) times and as an employer you take what you can get as far as a warm body however if I wasn't treated like a piece of s#@t, I would have never left this review! read more

Ordered through Grubhub and when it arrived it was short a pizza. Called the store and the girl who answered rudely told me "that's all you ordered". Placed an order here online for a business lunch. (BTW, we do tons of catering since we are a Fortune 500) I called to check the status of the order since they don't open until 11AM. We couldn't get in touch with anyone. No VM was available to try and set it up for a catering order, so we did it online. The boy who answered the phone was VERY rude. And kept making little dumb comments. This was a 30 sec conversation, so no need for his snide remarks. If you need catering use the Corner Bakery. Just unbelievably terrible service. We placed an order at 7pm on a Saturday. Around an hour later I get a call asking if I "got all your order." I said no, we hadn't received anything yet. They said they would have to remake my order. Okay, I get it, it happens. We wait another 40 minutes, then call again to check. Oh, their driver just left, call back in 10 minutes if we don't get our order. Mind you we live 5 minutes away from this place by car. Finally, a full 2 hours after our order was placed I call again and am told their driver has delivered all their orders, including mine. No way, I've been here the whole time, no one has rung my bell or even walked up to the front door. I ask for a full refund and they start giving me some song and dance about a credit for a pizza (on an order for a pizza, knots, two salads, and a spaghetti)? Absolutely not, I didn't receive my order, I want a full refund. I get an "okay" and then they hang up on me. I've put up with a lot from this place in the 5+ years I've been ordering from them (late food, wrong food, missing food) and never left a bad review because I've worked good service and I get it....but this is the final straw. I've got two hungry kids and I'm done with you. Stay away from Garlic Knot. There is better, more reliable pizza out there. read more

Not happy with what used to be a great place to order and or sit down to eat..... the last two times our family ordered for pickup(6/3) the cashier and folks back in the back were stoned off their asses! Our order was not ready and it had been 30mins after they stated it would be ready within 20. Today, 7/9- we drove in from driving from Lawrence KS called in for the repeat order(The Broadway) and the guy confirmed the Canadian bacon pineapple with half fresh tomatoes.....it would be ready in 20mins....... got there and the pizza was ready but missing Canadian bacon.....instead of remaking the pie so the meat would be cooked into the pie, they put the meat on top and overcooked the rest of the pie....I asked why, and got a BS look on the face of the Asian guy. maybe I'm picky, but for the price of the pie and picking it up, you'd think it would be done the way the customer requested. very disappointed read more
