However, I experienced a outage that I could not troubleshoot, and I called customer service for help. However, the agent had a not-so-good attitude, which said I did not appreciate. For which he apologized by blaming it on me. For example, he said the box should have 3 cables. Mine had two. He insisted there were 3 over and over, implying that I had a significant lack of knowledge or experience in troubleshooting. Two of my relatives were with me and also confirmed the two cables, yet he kept insisting there are 3 and that we were mistaken in an exasperated tone. I have always had pleasant experiences with customer service agents, so this was quite shocking. He also did not explain things well. Only after repeated clarification questions could follow his directions. We ultimately were not able to fix the outage due to the cable situation. Hopefully, other agents are more helpful than this one, and only I have had this unpleasant experience. Otherwise, the internet service and installation process is great, I have had no other issues.

I'm sure glad I did. I had the good fortune of meeting Alex, who worked miracles. He had me explain the issue in detail, and apparently listened. After I told him I wasn't expecting much, he dove right in. It took a little while, but damn if he didn't resolve the problem! I honestly thought I'd return home to the same issues, but it was amazing - my internet has never worked so well. So if you're reading this Xfinity, thanks for having associates the caliber of Alex. He not only remedied the issues, but was professional and had a great attitude while doing so.

The second trip, when I was unable to complete the instructions because I could not get access to the old phone, I had to use his phone to call the account manager, who drove to the store in Idaho. Before the very helpful and friendly Idaho representatives completed anything, the Dublin rep disconnected the call and escorted me to the door. At no point was I rude or aggressive. The reps in Idaho could not get me past a T-Mobile SNAFU on the old phone. They did their best and were kind and friendly. I wound up figuring it out on my own thanks to AI and guessing my way around obstacles. I will not be going back to the Dublin store. I has similar service there with a previous account.

We worked with Ryan, who was able to answer all our questions. Their monthly rate is 1/2 what we paid for Xfinity. It's only been a week, but our internet has not dropped once. Moises, the installer, arrived on time and did the entire installation himself in about 4 hours. He first set up a temporary antenna to check the download and upload speeds. Our speed was even better than what they had quoted. Once the antenna was set up on our roof, a cable is then connected to an outlet in our house. Once we set up our routers, everything worked seamlessly. Moises didn't leave until we confirmed that all of our devices were connected. If you live in the Fremont or neighboring areas, I highly recommend Tekify for your internet service.
