I have come here a few times over the years and I can say that overall it is a nice spot for hookah if you just want a calm chill environment. It's intimate and music isn't too loud, so it's easy to talk. Service is always good, and their menu always has good flavors. Last night I had mint & orange and it was very very good! One of the things I like most about this place is that they do not serve alcohol, so the crowd and energy always feels relaxed. Now unfortunately my rating is due to the bathroom.... Best hookah lounge I've ever been too! Super smooth hookah and very proactive staff. They go around every 15-30 minutes to makes sure the coals are still hot and have a bucket to replace them if needed. They have a huge list of flavors. We got the passion fruit mojito, super good starbuzz flavor. All flavors are the same price which is awesome because starbuzz is usually more expensive than al fakher almost everywhere else. They also sell hookahs there and flavors too. Because when customers come to smoke hookah they usually stay for a couple hours vibes has a poker table and board games you can play while chilling here. A defining new moment for me trying hookah for the first time on Friday. I can tell you that it is definitely not my choice of a fun or relaxed time but my experience was nonetheless great. The lounge is next door to Class 520 and caters a very small, private lot of up to 15 - 20 cars at a maximum. The establishment is dimly lit but well furnished with several tables, chairs and couches. There's a single, gender-neutral bathroom in the back of the lounge for anyone to use. Everything is clean inside and outside the lounge and I appreciate the sanitary measures the employees take with wiping the areas and equipments. Their menu has extensive choices of flavors. I tried their Strawberry Mint which tasted subtle with a hint of sweetness. I don't have much to compare it to since it was my first time, but I did enjoy the flavor. You also have the ability to mix flavors which is a cool add-on. Service here is outstanding. The moment you walk in, you're immediately greeted and seated. My friends and I informed the staff that this was all our first time and they made the effort to explain their recommendations, most popular flavors and how our experience would work. I appreciated their patience with answering our questions and that they were continuously checking up on us. Yelp also has a 15% code available for use which ultimately brought our total to $20 amongst 4 people. Totally affordable and such a great deal. Stopped by after eating dim sum to avoid traffic back to VA. The employees were all really nice and accommodating when I visited. They let me smell the different flavors so I could choose what I want which I appreciated. I got the mango mint which was pretty good! They also have piles of cards and some other games so my friends and I played Taboo. One of the employees even came and helped us out in the game! He was really sweet and friendly. This is by far the best hookah you will get in the great state of Maryland! I've been to my fair share of hookah lounges in the DMV area and this has been my experience so far: At vibes, the hookah is quality is phenomenal as well as the service being provided. The staff is extremely attentive and is pretty fun to talk to too. They really take the time and put in the effort to make sure you get a good hookah pack, and the best part is you can watch them make it right in front of you at the counter. Their flavor selection is crazy huge with over 200 flavors to choose from, personally I'm more of a grape mint guy, but I find myself usually trying a new mix every time I'm in there. They also offer a lot of add-ons like orange, grapefruit, pineapple, and watermelon fruit heads and ice hoses too! The thing about vibes is that they pay attention to the small details that add up an overall great experience. For example, you're greeted as soon as you walk in and are never left standing long at all. They are pretty quick with getting new coals to my hookah and are always happy to take a couple of minutes out of their day to have a chat. The atmosphere is excellent, the couch is comfy, but for whatever reason, when you are smoking the hookah and the coal runs out it takes workers so long to refill the coal (I think that's what its called) when you run out, which is frustrating. I've come here a separate 3 times, each for several hours. The first time wasn't bad but me and my friends ended up with a mild headache, not too bad. The second time was good but all ended up with a headache again. On the third time, I had a headache so bad that I couldn't pay attention to anything else. My friends had told me once we had gotten in the car that they went for a walk because they also had headaches at such a high magnitude. As for the hookah, it's not bad but I wouldn't say it's particularly good. The prices aren't bad for both regular and pineapple bowls but the smoke always comes off very warm unless you get an ice host which also doesn't last all that long. My guess is that the water is very warm which is resulting in warm smoke as well as the hose warming up more quickly than other places with ice hoses. They have a large flavor selection so I praise them on that, a lot of places don't carry Cherry but they do so both me and my friend got Cherry shisha. They don't seem to ask if you want anything to drink which can be a bit off-putting to new customers that don't know they have drinks or feel like they have to ask. You're not allowed to bring external drinks in there which is fine but they told one of my friends that and they even asked him if it was alcohol and I sort of felt he was racially profiled with the alcohol question. There are several sets of card games there, especially multiple sets of UNO. However their UNO cards are in terrible condition and they look as if someone brought them to the bathroom with them to use as toilet paper. It's pretty disgusting tbh. The guy I believe to be the owner is always pretty nice to us. Most of the other employees seem to be in more a neutral attitude. Except for the last guy that came in while we were there the third time. He seemed to have a distaste for our group but maybe I'm peering in too much about it. I had been also flipping a toy around and the guy I believe is the owner was completely fine with it. However this last guy had asked me to put it away so I felt it was banned from there on out. The seating was good but also seemed worn down, everywhere. They have several TV's as well in case you want to watch a game or the news. Overall, lots of flavors, decent prices, okay staff, mass inducing headaches, decent seating, heat gaining ice hoses and a little bit of profiling. I'd give it 3 stars out of 5 if the headache I got the third time wasn't as bad as it was. So 2 stars it is. read more

The lights may be dim but this place is LIT!!!! The owner does not, in fact, have a mustache but he is very charismatic and friendly! He's so cool that he can make a fedora and button-up charming! He also gave out free cupcakes to everyone in the shop that night! What a champ. The interior is huge and there's a variety of seating options; you can choose from booths, tables, and couches. It's the perfect place to relax and have fun with your favorite people! The tables are mobile which makes Mustache Cafe accommodating for groups of all sizes. One hookah is $18 which is a bit more expensive than what you'd be paying in parts of DC where you can get them for $12 but it's worth it for the convenience and quality. I don't know of many hookah places in Montgomery County but I think it's safe to say that this place is my new favorite! read more

Recently found this place when I moved to Maryland. I was looking for a good Hookah spot to replace the one in Georgia I use to frequent a lot. I can't remember how I found Vibes but I thought I would give it a shot. It was my 3rd Hookah place and the other two were not good. Vibes is amazing. I go there to chill. Relax and work remotely. The wifi is very good, the music is great and not loud and intrusive. I like the atmosphere I go mostly during the day and i never have a problem finding a seat and most people seem like working professionals, like me, and students. The flavor selection is second to none. The service is first class, someone is always stopping by to check on you and change your coal. The staff is really attentive and I haven't met anyone yet that didn't have a smile on their face and appreciate me as a customer, even paying is easy. The Hookahs themselves are great. Well made, packed correctly and pull smoothly. The prices are super fair and actually cheaper than the other places I've visited and much cheaper than Atlanta. I've made this my new Hookah home. If you are a true Hookah fan or even a novice looking to try it out Vibes is a must. read more

We were seated quickly, the place was crowded but not too crowded, nice mix of people with all good vibes (hence the name, ha!). Probably the best Hookah lounge I have been to in the DMV. They have no minimum purchase per person!!! I hate going to a hookah lounge and being forced to spend $12 per person or more. Went to mustache cafe with a group of friends this weekend and I have to say I am impressed!! This place is hands down the best hookah bar in MoCo! Loved the chill and modern design of this place. The staff were very friendly and laid back. The hookahs were great and there was a variety of flavors on the menu. What stood out to me the most was that this place was VERY CLEAN. I've always hated using the dirty bathrooms in other hookah bars in the area. But the entire place and the bathroom was very clean. Prices are reasonable especially when the hookah is still pulling smoothly after 3 hours. Not sure if they offer coco nara but that would be a huge plus! Only complaint is that some of the chairs are a bit uncomfortable unless you're on a couch, but this would only be an issue if the place is jam packed. WHAT TO SAY? THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. From the first walk in to the atmosphere to the owner and the seating and music. It's very inviting and lively. The seats are extremely comfortable and the hookah pulls extremely well! The owner is very, very nice! A must come if you've visited all the other hookah bars around the area! I honestly just wish that it wasn't open at 5:30pm so i could come here more often. Only downside is that it doesn't have open wifi. read more
