It was tucked away and I have never noticed it. They have some outdoor seating in a tent with heat lamps and looked like a nice place for convo. We sat inside in the back and were greeted right away. The gentleman that took care of us was very nice. They only serve non-alcoholic beverages by law so we were slightly disappointed but the hookah was delicious and was well worth it!! The hookah was well priced so much so, that I didn't mind paying a slight upcharge for the coconut coals. I've been coming here to smoke long before it was even renamed the Shisha Barn - that's how you know this is the place to be! This is not your average shisha spot. There's no super loud music, it's not dark and dingey, and above all - it's not ratchet. Take that how you want ‍ Hany keeps a super clean and cute place! There's seating inside and outside, and the bathroom is also always clean which is surprising for any hookah place (if you know, you know). Hany always packs a great bowl that can smoke for hours and he leaves extra coals so you don't have to constantly try to flag someone down when it's time to light another. He does offer some beverages but no food and no alcohol. However, there are a few places nearby if you're hungry and Hany doesn't mind if you get something delivered either! If you couldn't tell already, the vibes are great and super chill here. You can even come early to study and/or work and there's a bunch of outlets for your chargers! I've come here several times just to read while I smoke and it's been very relaxing. It may get just a tad bit louder at night but that's only because the regulars (like myself) will start to roll in. The fact that there are so many regulars speaks for itself honestly! Update - 5/4/2019 This place has become my group of friends go to chill spot on the weekends. We started coming here a few months ago and it has grown on us. It's become our second home for us to mingle, catch-up, and just chat about our week :) Unlike other hookah bars that are loud, and a bit ratchet, Shisha Barn is the spot where it's very relaxed, clean, and the owner/workers are actually super nice. They also know how to prep the hookahs right. Every time we go, we are always welcomed by their super friendly owner. We tell him which flavor we want and he immediately starts packing. It usually comes out within 5-10 minutes which is super fast. He brings out a hygienic hookah with a brand new hose and 4 coals. The 4 coals is key. Nowhere else does this. They usually give 1 and you have to ask for more. I love how Shisha Barn gives us so many coals and gives us total freedom for how we want to light and arrange the coals on the bowl. Music plays in the background which adds to the great social environment. Bathrooms are kept very clean. Props to them! Would 100% recommend this place. The staff keep the coals coming, and as long as you want to smoke that bowl, you're welcome to sit -- and you can ask for a new bowl whenever. It can get a little loud when the football game is on, but people are chill on the whole, and will turn things down if asked. I used to avoid this place because it wasn't up to my standards, until recently. My friend and her friend would come to this place rather often, that one day I decided to join. My opinion about this place did a complete 180! The service is quick, unlike Vibes in Rockville which takes forever. He also gives 3-4 coals in the tray already so no need to constantly bug him unlike at Elite where I have to yell "coals!" Regardless of all that, the ambience is a pleasant place to study, chat with friends, play cards/games (which is usually what I come here for), or watch tv. The music is also not blasting. The location is pretty ideal as well. With an Indian restaurant right next door, a 7-11 around the corner and a 24-hour Subway nearby, all in walking distance, the fact that there's no food isn't a problem. There's a little bit of daylight seeping through the massive windows and the lights are always on, unlike both Vibes and Elite. I'm a sucker for natural daylight especially when I'm doing work. However, I do wish they opened a little bit earlier than 5. That's why I enjoyed going to Sir because I would pass the evening after-work rush. The lemonade is actually pretty good, and he even asks about sweetness level which was something that shocked me. This place is very relaxing. The owner (Hani) is very friendly and attentive. He makes sure you're having a great time. I came here after a tiring day at shopping and got very relaxed, it was like a mental therapy. Now I come here regularly driving for more than an hour. I would highly recommend this place if you wanna hang out with friends or even alone! They have an open space too which is great for summer. This is my favorite hookah bar to go to, and I go almost every other weekend with my friends. Perfect place to just relax, socialize, and smoke some high quality Shisha. My favorite flavor is Blue Mist mixed with Pan, but I've never been disappointed by any of the flavors there. The hookah is almost always very milky with nice thick smoke, and if it's not up to par, you can also ask them to fix it for you. You do have to buy a drink every time you go, which can be annoying when you don't want to spend those extra few dollars, but they're not that expensive and it hasn't stopped me from being a regular. The owner Heny, is the man, he's always trying to make sure his customers are satisfied and does a great job at fulfilling that duty. Love this place! read more

They have a great selection of hookah flavors that they pack perfectly. They keep up with bringing fresh coals so you are never waiting to enjoy your hookah. The decor is like someone's living room with either table and chairs or comfortable living room style chairs. The music is at a perfect volume to be able to sit relax and still talk. Tvs on both sides of the wall so you can see you can watch the games from any place in the room. The sections are spaced out so you don't feel like you are on top of the people next to you. They do not serve food but I was able to order Uber eats with no problem from the owner. He told me he has been here for 6 years so that tells you he is doing it right. First off, this place is NOT CLOSED!! It is very much open and operating full speed. Wow... this place is by FAR the best hookah bar I have been to in a while. First off, the atmosphere is great, laid back, and relaxing. They have an outdoor seating area with tables, chairs, and benches under a tent that is lit with string lights. Inside is comfy seating with nice rustic decor. Next, their hookahs! Amazing! I love how clean everything is and that they use disposable hoses. The flavors are great and whenever you ask them to mix flavors, it is always PERFECT. My go-to there is Irish Peach and Mint. Lastly on the menu are their drink and food selections. I personally haven't tried any of the food but there is a nice selection of soft drinks, coffee, teas, and smoothies/milkshakes (which are FANTASTIC). Overall, it's such a friendly environment and the owner is the sweetest and most accommodating person. I have met so many great people coming here too because everyone socializes together. The inside area is kind of small but during summer time they have an outdoor area which is nice. I get their mint lemonade which is one of the better drinks I've had in a while. Definitely not closed like the sign says - at least last I checked? Love this place, literally the cleanest hookah bar in the area. Wait staff packs a perfect bowl - they even use proper techniques for aeration on Shisha. You get a brand new hose every time you come which is also a nice touch compared to using some nasty old washable ones. They also provide "happy hour" pricing on Wings during football season. An amazing touch in my opinion as they actually taste fantastic. They also have comfortable seating for individuals who may be doing things like studying, to folks who are conversing. This is not a loud, rowdy, overdone atmosphere. It is just clean - and what a hookah bar should be for folks just looking to relax. Things I don't like: - You cannot bring your own water, or have any sort of water if not sold by them in a bottle. (What is this 1987...) - They do not sell product (Shisha or coals). My favorite juice is the lemonade, it's unbelievably refreshing, and the finger foods are really yummy, very traditional Lebanese which translates to fresh and filled with flavor.
