Unacceptable Handling and Credit Damage I totaled my vehicle on October 9 and immediately notified the bank and my insurance company. A settlement was offered, and the remainder was to be covered by GAP. The bank initially claimed they accepted it and needed time to "process." Instead, we spent over six weeks being harassed for a payment we were specifically told not to make. The bank then stated they "couldn't verify" that our insurance representative was legitimate -- which is absurd and unprofessional. After a formal credit complaint was filed, they suddenly accepted the same settlement they claimed they couldn't process. Today, my credit score dropped 65 points for their delay and incompetence. This bank's internal communication, accountability, and customer service are unacceptable. Their actions caused unnecessary stress, wasted time, and serious financial damage. Generally the staff are nice. But after that a smile can only go so far. This CU has been closing branches all over ATM's disappearing, credit cards being sold to 3rd parties. Vibrant has been slipping for many years now and honestly I'm tired of driving out of the way to get to a branch and find the ATM is gone or the branch is closed. While I drive to the corporate headquarters for an ATM that is inside the lobby that doesn't open until 8:30 am, so I have to wait and be late for work just to use their services. I can drink a coffee instead while I wait... C'mon how about focusing on banking instead of being a barista knockoff. I'll be leaving soon as they are no longer worth it and I'm tired of driving and passing other banks that have several open ATMS and locations. I miss the old Vibrant that offered much more and the smile they had was well received because it felt real. read more

Vibrant has gone way downhill over the last few years. Service is terrible, they have closed down many branches and ATM's. Seems they are more interested in serving coffee than being a credit union that is supposed to be there to serve their members. Take your money elsewhere! read more

Seemed fine when I moved there 3 yrs ago. Tried to get a car loan but ended up with a higher interest personal loan and the communication was poor. Then they dropped car loans all together. Then they started closing branches and turning them into coffee shops. Then they dropped their credit card and brought in an outside vendor, when I set up that account for auto pay they changed the web site and auto pay was lost. When I called the agent was abrupt and unhelpful. It was better when I could access all of my accounts on one site. now I have two. I filled out their survey and a few days later received 4 messages from 4 different phone numbers and the messages were pushed into my save file where I had to go in and delete them. Prior to this I could delete them while listening to the message. I am looking for a new bank. read more

I have been a vibrant customer for decades . In the last couple years they have closed all of their branches . No longer have any fee free ATMs . And taken away many more perks from customers . Turned all their branches into coffee shops . Ridiculous. I will be leaving vibrant as soon as my mortgage is paid off in 5 months . read more

I've been waiting on hold for 25 minutes to talk to someone. That is not at all acceptable for a credit union.

They used to have wonderful customer service but that is no longer the case. They closed the location closest to me and now I have wait 20 minutes+ at another location that is chronically understaffed. But I guess the good news is I can buy coffee from them at their coffee shop...‍ read more

BEWARE. Read your contract. Very deceptive company. They will tell you everything you will need to do, to get a loan. The contract will be the opposite of what was said. Have an Attorney read your contract, before you agree or sign anything. My advice is "Stay Away". Their contract CTA, but even the best deceptive people always makes at least one mistake. read more
