This little locally owned glass shop on the east side of Elwood offers glass making demonstrations…read moreand has a gift shop filled with hundreds of pieces of in-house made products. We visited during the Elwood Glass Festival. The shop is in an older pole barn with parking on the side. The demonstrations were outstanding and fascinating. Master craftsman, Danny, made several paperweights while assistant, Wendy, narrated the process. It was mesmerizing to watch and the team welcomed questions. They described each step, while Danny worked. Watching Danny make glass was the highlight of our visit to Elwood. The gift shop next door was filled with all types of colorful and intricate glass items. There were paperweights, vases, ornaments and glass decor. The glass is marked and sold under the name Prestige. Prices were reasonable for a handcrafted work of art. I'm not sure the demonstrations are available everyday or not, so call before you go if you want to observe. They will make custom pieces. They also offer classes in glass making.

A few items I would have purchased but prices were two and three times over what they should have been. Go at your own risk since they aren't stressing masks and I didn't see hand sanitizer, but I could have missed it. We walked maybe half the mall and left uninspired. The sign that is on the door in someone's photo is no longer there.
