I went to Vick Tires last Saturday around 5:30 PM after receiving a recommendation from my mechanic to replace my tires. The parking lot is kind of small so it can be tricky to get in and out of. You will find the tire shop located next to the Truist (previously Suntrust) bank. My husband recommended Vick Tires because our usual tire place closed at noon on Saturday. They were pretty busy with 3 cars in the parking lot when we arrived. It took about 45 minutes to get the tires replaced and balanced, but the staff was very friendly. I appreciated being able to get new tires the same day. I was also happy to hear that I was warranted for 60K miles, since I purchased new tires. This location sells used tires also, but did not have them in the size for my vehicle. Overall, I would return to purchase new tires, but they do not offer alignment, so I will need to do that soon with my mechanic. read more

The service here is not good and if call for a price for repair they will overcharge you when you get there the quality of the tires are just used just good enough for you and until you get new tires you'll be better off using your spare for a week or two then wasting your time read more

I would absolutely rate less than or 0 stars if it were possible. over charged for 2 patches on one tire. Extremely rude and disrespectful. One would have to wonder how on earth has this jurk been in business since 2007. Lastly the jurk had over inflated the repaired tire by over ten pounds. read more

He tried to take advantage of me by quoting me a price for a tire that was clearly much higher than what was written on the tire. The quality of the tire was also terrible. The tire he tried to sell me was basically a bald tire. He kept shouting out 'No Warranties! No Warranties!'. I also asked him was he the owner and he said no. He pointed to the other guy who I later found out was not the owner. He was. During our conversation he even stated he could not lower the price without first 'asking the owner' (pointing to the other man) when again he was in fact the owner. He also added fees to the bill which were unexplained. After he put the tire on the car it violently shook when I was on the expressway. I took the car back to him and they balanced the tire. The shaking stopped.. for a while. Now my car shakes so violently again a day later from the tire he changed that I cannot drive it on the expressway. So I will have to take my car back to him again. I think one of the weights fell off the tire. Last, he has a mean disposition to himself. He may not be a mean person but he does not smile at all. He keeps a scowl on his face. I don't know if life has been extremely hard on him... maybe. He is rather sour. His employee was far more friendly and is probably the reason folks return to his shop. UPDATE: I refused to pay another shop to correct his mistakes. Vick's used old and worn weights on my tires and one fell off and now the tire is wobbling again. I could not even get on the highway because of how bad the tire wobbled. To make matters worse I just found out that he put a different size tire on my car. So I have three tires one size and one other tire another size. The tire he swapped for the incorrect tire was not a must have. My other tire still had tread. If he did not have the right size tire all he had to do was tell me. But his greedy a-- chose to put the wrong sized tire on my car. I had to drive the back-roads all the way from midtown Atlanta to his shop and I was told he had left to get the right sized tire and they would re-balance the tires. This sob then came with two old tires and said he was charging me 'the difference' of $40.00 because the old tires he brought out 'cost more'. By this time I lost it and started screaming. I told him I was not giving him another DIME. I know a weight fell off because my car is now doing the exact same violent vibration it was doing when he had to balance the tires and told me one tire was terribly off. He balanced the one tire, refused to balance or even look at the other one he also balanced, and put the SAME incorrectly sized tire back on my car. What a greedy crooked man. I left the shop with the wrong tire and my car still violently shaking from side to side. When I refused to pay him to correct his own mistake he basically refused to correct the problem. THESE MEN ARE CROOKS. DO NOT TRUST THEM. THEY ARE NOT HONEST. THEY WILL PUT THE DOLLAR OVER YOUR FAMILIES SAFETY. SECOND UPDATE: My car drove so rough after I left his shop I had to stop at another tire shop. The mechanic looked at the tire Vick's had sold me just the day before and said it was a bad tire it was also unsafe. The tire was cracked and peeling and splitting. He took the tire off and replaced it at charge of course. My car drove smooth after that. Vicks refused to refund me for the dry, cracked and splitting tire he had put on my car. These guys ALWAYS work with the community and especially their repeat customers. Last year around Thanks giving, after coming down to celebrate the Holiday with my 3 boys I found my rear tire flat and un-repairable. I had barely enough gas $$ to get back home . I explained my situation and the QUICKLY slapped on a excellent tire that was almost a 50$ tire. After balancing the tire and rotating the back tires to the front( free of charge) he said.." Just give me $20 a we're good. Have a safe drive back home" So, needless to say these Guts are a benefit to the working men & women of the community and Im personally grateful and will ALWAYS give them my buisness. read more
