I read all the reviews before I came and spoke with Jonathan multiple times, they are 100 percent up front about costs, friendly, and patient (because trust me I bring all the questions). I was skeptical about used tires but did my research before hand and Jonathan pulled two matching pairs down and we inspected them together! I think I got a great deal and honestly in Atlanta I'm tired of paying for brand new nice tires! Def do your research and let them know your concerns they'll take of you! As far as install, they don't do appointments, but I went on a Wednesday around 10:30am and didn't have to wait. There is no official wait room so park, go up to desk and someone will take care of you! Lucky for me I got Jonathan again and he was able to to go over everything with me again, and even inspected all my tires and we talked about options, and then I was able to have them changed right after! They take apple pay, and my experience from start to finish was amazing! Again, this is not your place where you go and have a fancy waiting room, but that's because they don't do appointments and they do great work fast! I blew a tire by hitting a bad curb on Metropolitan Parkway. Pulled into first driveway I could --which was Lee'sTire Company. Miracle. It did not even look like a legitimate business, but I was in trouble and stood there waiting until one of the workmen noticed me. (no service desk). These guys put a good tire on my vehicle within 30 minutes --at a great price, too. I even had my dealer check the tire a couple days later, They gave it a thumbs up. First off, don't let the look of the business affect how you approach it. You could potentially do more harm than good for your wallet! they answer their phones and answer questions Exactly what should be done. So when I called with an inquiry, they answered. No questions asked. Other than what was the size of my tire. When I arrived, I was reasonably confused because I wasn't sure how to approach this business as it doesn't have an office space. It's just hard working men, cars and a BUNCH of tires. So I got out of my car to look around and one of the gentlemen noticed me and approached me. Funny enough he was already looking for me as I parked previously in one spot trying to assess how I'd approach this building. He approached me, I told him what I wanted to do and he had me pull my car in a spot. He took me a little in the garage space and had me check out their tires and another gentlemen educated me on the pricing and how it works. Basically the more expensive, the better value. So I opted for a $61 tire. And I stood to the side. They guys in the shop did the rest. I had to leave for work by 9:45am, these guys had me ready by 9:40. I arrived at 9:05 or so and figured out how to be serviced 10-15 minutes upon arrival. These guys had me on a Jack in less than 5 minutes and a tire on my car in 15. They deserve the praise of a small business and its efficacy. Not to mention, it's kindness of the staff. The men are JUST that. Hard working men. They speak slowly, and don't waste time. So if you feel they may seem unapproachable, that's not the case. As they all spoke to me, hosted small talk and was even thankful for my service. But the BEST part. Was the PRICE. They said that I pay for the tire of my choice and if I want them to discard the tire for a fee. I opted to keep the tire, and left paying only $61! This by far was my first and best used tire experience, and I hadn't had the time to ask as I was rushing. But I'm pretty sure they even sell new tires. So if they charge just the price for a new tire and install for free. I'd say they just earned another customer. And I WILL be back for my emergency tire needs. I always come here when in need of any tire repair. Brought my 2020 Jeep SRT in as noticing one tire kept showing low. In 5 mins they found a small nail in the tire m and plugged it. I was directed to Lee Tire as one of the great pot holes on Metropolitan Parkway caused my tire to go flat. Lee tire explained my tire was beyond repair. Completely Understandable. I simply asked for them to put my spare on and they charged me $10. I had every Tom Dick and Harry stop me to tell me the spare should never go in the rear of a front wheel drive car and his could cause me to wreck! This was apparently common knowledge. Even the homeless stopped me and told me I would wreck so why would Lee Tire put my spare on the rear? They do not care. LADIES DO NOT GO HERE! I did not know any better. That is pure laziness as they would have had to take off another tire to switch with the front. SMH! But it's ok for me to wreck over $10. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Hello everyone... ya know I don't complain but I am now. Please do not use Lee Tires Metropolitan. I bought two tires from them later found that were dry rotted... they remember me purchasing and I said man they are dry rotted... the guy there told me you got what you paid for. $200 for two dry rotten tire. Needless to say I had two other friends just told me the same thing happen to them. Please don buy any dry rotted tires for this place...I am so tired of people taking advantage of people in the neighborhood. And especially knowing that most of them can't even afford to buy new tires. read more

I came in here on a Monday afternoon with no appointment. They were super friendly, got me started and done under 20 minutes while I walked next door for some thrift store browsing. They were completely honest about the condition of my tires (I just bought the car used As Is) - originally was going to be $40 to repair 2 tires and rotate (which to me is a bargain)- the guy got me out the door for only $26 flat (poor choice of words excuse me) to repair 2 tires, rotate the front to the back, and air up all 4 tires- and I noticed he even added a missing valve cap. The car was wobbling before and leaking air, now it is riding smooth as butter. He let me know 2 tires were new and the 2 repaired tires have plenty of life left. So far these tires are ok. I felt rushed. There was only a 10 day guarantee. I also had to pay at their old location. For an emergency situation, the tires were fair. But 12 days later, I was afraid that if I did have problems that I would not have a recourse. I had a front tire blowout 12 days later, but those were used tires were now three months old from another company. They had been on for three months. My only other concern about Lee was no availability on Sunday (at least they did not answer the phone). read more

Don t do business here!! Or if you do, consider yourself fully warned! While the employees seem easygoing, the manager is a difficult dude named Sammi with an ego issue & an attitude like charcoal. I bought two tires on Apr 15th & they both blew on April 28th within 3 hours of each other on our trip back from New Orleans to Atlanta. The 2nd one blew at night while we were on a long bridge in southern Alabama that had a narrow shoulder. We were finally able to get the car and our lives out of trouble by crawling up the shoulder on the rim while truckers continued to buzz us at 70+MPH - prob 60-90min in total. We had to spend the night in a random Walmart lot because BOTH of the tires Lee s Used Tires sold me 13 days earlier had blown. I had to buy 2 New Walmart Tires at 7am - $275 total (in addition to the $72 already paid for Lee s Used Tires). Now, I understand that you can t predict when a tire blows, but the fact that I know what to look for when buying a tire & that they blew within days of purchase only leads to one conclusion - the tires were stored improperly and had a dangerous amount of internal dry rot. This was corroborated by 3 people who you could argue are experts, the 2 guys who helped us with roadside assistance & my friend who s a former certified mechanic. (As a tip, direct sunlight & heat greatly reduce a tire s lifespan (tires.about.com/od/Tire_...). The outdoor section where they stores tires is too exposed to the sun!!!! The constant heating & cooling drys out the rubber. What you end up getting is an internal dry rot that you can t see -- it s very dangerous & very preventable. The tires I had picked had a DOT that ended in 0213, which means they were made the 2nd week of 2013 - so they weren t just old tires that were just bound to blow from a lifetime of use. When I mentioned the dry rot to Sammi, he played dumb --- I can t tell what caused this he said. You mean to tell me that you work with tires all day everyday & you won t diagnose this tire issue? He refused to offer a full or partial refund. At first, he agreed to replace the tires, but then told me I needed a receipt. After procuring the receipt, he then refused to swap out the tires since it was over the 10 day window. Either way, what use do I have for them? I already had to buy new tires in an emergency because of tires they gave me! 'Replacing the tire' is the way they save money -- really, it probably costs them $10/each to replace them vs. the $36/each to refund them. I would've accepted a partial refund in this situation as well, but Sammi insisted on replacing them. Let s call it what it is - this guy is greedy & wasn t interested in doing the right thing for the situation. There are So many used tire places out there -- I researched a bunch & was hoping this would be a good experience. It was the exact opposite -- please stay away or risk the potential of being burned!! read more
