I went to Vickar Community Chevrolet because my car had a recall. The woman I spoke to while booking the appointment was great. When I went to pick up the car I walked into the service area where a lot of desks were and waited until someone was free, and the ones that were free didn't even acknowledge that was even there. I finally was able to get the attention of a man who was well aware of my presence and I asked him where I am to pick up my car. He pointed to where a cashier was which was out of sight from the entrance and tucked away behind the row of desks, a place that no one would know was there. The woman who gave me my receipt of the work they did was not at all personable. When the car was pulled up for me the service tech that pulled up the car was rude and again not at all personable. When looking to see the work they did I found plastic bits from the repair on the floor of the car. Overall I was not at all impressed with my experience while dealing with Vickar Community Chevrolet, the staff there were rude! One of the worst repair shop and service ever. Stay away. They did wheel alignment for my FJ cruiser after 2 months I started to notice, my front passenger wheel was moving and making noise While I was making U-turn. I checked the lower arm bolts and one bolt was lose. As I came back to them they said to me it happens because of the bad weather conditions. I bought the truck last year. when I got it home. I checked it over. It was very rusty,and started having problems with it. I couldn 't take it back due to restriction of covid 19. I had to change the atleernator, and now trailor break system is in need of servicing. I'm in norhtern Ontario, and unable to return the truck cause I don't know if it's worth it. This is, without a doubt, the worst car dealership in Winnipeg, Stay away - stay far away. I, unfortunately, purchased a 2019 Buick Regal from this outfit about a year ago (2/21). It was classified as a certified vehicle, meaning it was to have been fully inspected and all adjustments and repairs made. Within 1 week of the purchase I had to have the wheels balanced because of a bad vibration. Then a tire had to be replaced. Then, within 2 weeks, the battery was dead and found to have a dead cell. It had to be replaced. Recently I took the car in for it's 48000 klm routine maintenance ($239.95) and was talked into have the wheels balanced ($119.95). Shortly after, the wheel balancing went on special ($89.95), so I called Faith at Vickar Service to have the bill adjusted and she hung up the phone. I then called Bill, the service manager, about this insulting treatment and to have him process the adjustment and he too hung up the phone. How horrible to be treated in such a humiliating, insulting way. I can not understand how a car dealership can stay in business treating customers in such a horrible manner. Isn't customer service the back bone of the car business? How then can a car dealership stay in business treating customers this way? I will never purchase another vehicle from this disgusting, dispicable organization nor will I ever have any further service work done there. They are a dishonest, dis-organized under-handed organization that should have their licence to operate revoked. Stay far away. read more

I went to get a vehicle of mine valued i purchased for $2200 on Kijiji. i wanted something new so i wanted them to value it for me. I asked how much it would be if they were to take it or even the best i could get for it. an older man told me a might get $100 from the scrap metal. I later sold the car for $2000 on Kijiji. He didn't even look into the car he looked at it for less than 5 seconds and decided it wasn't worth his time. Probably the the worst Vehicle centre in a winnipeg. read more

I recently purchased a car from Vickar's Clearance Centre. Within 2 weeks of having the vehicle the engine ceased and needed to be replaced. Vickar's indicated that it would cost $4400 to replace it. When approached due to the fact that we had just bought it, to see if there was a way to defray costs they offered to take money off the labour-not a significant amount as it would still cost over $3500 to fix. There was also a crack in the windshield which I was assured was just an 'easy fill'. Within 3 days it had cracked all the way up the windshield. I will never purchase or lease a vehicle from any dealership or anyone affiliated with this dealership again. Overall it was a terrible experience. read more

When I called to ask them to quit, they were incredibly rude, basically hung up on me, and (as ridiculous as it sounds) started calling me and just hanging up. Ridiculously unprofessional.
