If I found a house where I liked some parts of it (e.g. if it had high ceilings and a great fireplace) but it had items that were on my "definitely do not want (item/feature/doodad)" list that we established in earlier meetings she would recommend we look at something else. Mary took the time to learn what I liked most in the houses we looked at (even when I wasn't the best at explaining exactly what that might be lol) and spent a good deal of time searching for the right fit for me. She is super knowledgeable about San Antonio and the surrounding area and has many friends and contact in the realtor community. When we found the house that I was in love with she was able to not only negotiate the price down but also have the seller throw in a couple appliances and garage door opener. During the walk-throughs we did of the house she had read through the initial contract so thoroughly she noticed that the builder had not installed the window sills and garage keypad that were initially agreed upon in the contract! I got a great deal on my new home and I'm in love with it! All because Mary took the time to learn what my likes and dislike were, dedicated herself to finding something that suited me, and handled all the negotiations and concessions. After 4 months on the market and 2 open houses, I reached out to the owner of the agency, Shane Neal, who never responded. Same day Theresa unilaterally terminated the listing, 2 months before the end of our binding contract, and told me they would leave the house key under a rock!!! A reaction to my reporting her poor work ethics. despite multiple emails and a phone message, Mr Neal could not be bothered to follow up. Non professional and not ready to put in the work!
