The menu isn't anything too special, but it's a cute little atmosphere and has a decent sized patio. They're licensed! Options are limited, but you can get locally brewed (Neepawa) Farmery beer here. The hours are currently limited but we spoke with the new owners and they're planning on expanding them very soon. There is something for everyone here. They've got specialty coffees (surprisingly decent tasting for a small espresso machine), desserts including home made cookies, pies, cakes and fudge. The lunch menu is pretty extensive for a small place. Soups, sandwiches and more are currently on the menu. One of the best parts about this place is that they're licensed! They've got beer and wine to go with your dessert. The only downside is they advertise craft beer but it comes in cans and is a limited selection. We were expecting beer on tap since that's more of what the craft experience is. However, most of their selection is local (MB) beer which is fantastic. We will definitely be back and look forward to recommending this place to all of our friends. We're excited for the extended hours so we can stop in more frequently on the way out to the cottage.

Every single thing is individually wrapped in plastic. This could easily be solved by providing paper plates or napkins and keeping goods under a glass cloche. Once you get past the packaging, all the products in the case are Sysco-style, mass-produced frozen goods. You're much better off going to Gran's up the street for some real baked goods. Lastly, the coffee is nothing special and even worse, it's served in styrofoam cups. If you can get past all of that, there is some very lovely patio seating out back and it's dog friendly. Hoping that the owner takes a chance and does something great with this place.

The weather is perfect 22C and light breeze and I wanted a place outside. And there was Roxi's right on the main drag close to the river.
