It was very difficult getting the C of O and contractors to respond in a timely fashion, as well as getting parts due to supply chain issues now in 2022. Alka gave us a contractor referral (Carlos) who was responsive and did great work, and also a mason for a chimney repair on our former home. The transaction was very stressful for me with unfair pressure from the buyers during a seven-week transaction (which is pretty fast!), and undue pressure and threats from their attorney as well. Alka was very patient and reassuring, as was the attorney she recommended, who was terrific (Eric Chung). We recommended her to our friends even before she sold our house, and she sold our friends' property back in October in record time for them. When we purchased our new home, Alka helped us out with the comp for our new home, even before we contracted with her to sell our old home. In addition, Alka is also just a nice person, bright, and a pleasure to work with.

We were looking to settle in an area not more than 45 min away from work. I had a conversation with my brother and quickly recommended Carole to us. "That was our blessings" Right away we could tell she was a great match for us after speaking to her on the phone and when we met in person. Ying Gautreau is the worst real estate agent to buy or sell a home. We recently purchased and…read moreclosed. She was the buy and listing agent, so she profited nicely on 700K sale. Large sectional sofa and large wooden work bench were left in the basement, plus kitchen countertop slab left in the garage from previous homeowner (seller). She made it very difficult and took no responsibility to ensure the seller removed these large items before the closing. And even more so difficult to have them removed after closing. She tried to convince us to keep the sofa and put these items in the contract after saying no we don't need them. And then complained after closing, saying you are now the homeowner so you call the municipality to have bulk items removed. This was such an inconvenience. This was the sellers responsibility to remove all items before close. What was suppose to be a joyful experience of purchasing a home quickly became the WORST realtor experience ever!! BEWARE !! Do not use Ying Gautreau as your real estate agent.
