After a bit of searching for someone skilled with BPPV (Vestibular rehabilitation) I discovered Leah Valvo at Kulp Therapy in Victor NY and I'm so glad I did. Leah proved to be very knowledgeable and skilled regarding BPPV and my path to recovery and coming "out of the woods" was achieved. I have been going for six months and I feel 5X stronger and the hip & knee pain that I've had for 25 years (and for which I've done my share of PT) has almost completely resolved. The monthly cost for group classes is right, given that if they were located in a big city they could probably charge that much for a single personal training session with kettlebells. The classes themselves are personalized as much as possible--I've been in classes with 20+ year-old guys trying to get jacked and 60+ year-old women working to regain their mobility--Kerry deftly manages to make sure we all get what we need. Morning classes tend to be older students; evening classes tend to be younger but I've not felt out of place in either (well, I once tried one of their kick boxing classes but that is NOT my thing! My fellow students seemed to enjoy it though). Kerry & Greg are certified through Strong First which is apparently a big deal. I commute about 15 minutes 2-3 times a week to get there (not something I've been wont to do in my life). I'm especially glad to be able to support a high-quality, local, and family-owned business rather than a big fitness chain.
