I had a frenectomy with this Dr. I spoke to him prior to my surgery about my concerns he reassured me that it was an easy surgery "it was like pulling a tooth" I went ahead with the surgery and 2 weeks after my surgery my tongue was still numb I couldn't feel anything. I keep biting my tongue, I called his office to ask if maybe he might have hit a nerve because the numbing wouldn't go away and he was mad that I asked that he got very rude and said that I had waited 49 years to get this surgery when I should've gotten it as a child. So now all of a sudden it was my fault. He said he couldn't tell me how long my tongue would be numb for it could be one week or a few years I was like what?! If I would've known that I would have no sensitivity or feeling in my tongue I would've never had this surgery but he said it was as easy as pulling a tooth then he had the audacity to get mad when I had questions. He said he had told me the pros and cons before hand which he never did like I said he stated it was like pulling a tooth. Please don't get any type of surgery with this man look at all his reviews they are bad. He seems nice in the beginning but if things go south he blames the patient. He's rude and has horrible bed side manner with you if you have any concerns or complaints I would not recommend anyone going there not even my worst enemy. We went to urgent care for my husband's ear pain. They couldn't figure it out and recommended we go to ENT. Dr. Kitt took us in that day and saw what was causing the problem and gave my husband a treatment and showed us how to do it at home. We return in one month. A doctor is not here to socialize with you, they are here to diagnose and treat. Personality doesn't matter, care does. I did not have a good experience at this doctor's office. Dr. Kitt is not patient and he is very blunt with the people that come to see him to be treated. I have never felt like walking out on a doctor before until today. He may be very knowledgeable about his profession but that is not that impression I got during my appointment. I am going to take his advice as far as the medical advice he gave me for my ear infection problem, but unfortunately I will be looking for another doctor for a second opinion. The other staff are very friendly and helpful. I was hopeful of a good experience by the staff's professionalism, but it's too bad the doctor himself is rude and unprofessional. When you leave a provider's office in a full stream of tears and you haven't received a devastating diagnosis, something is rotten in Denmark. I have never been treated so insignificantly and dismissed so rapidly by a provider. He was going to force me to sign a document that stated he was doing the procedure (myringotomy/tympanoplasty) reluctantly. Only because I came in there and demanded that he do it. I refused to sign! He told me that he was the doctor and he knew better and I should follow his directions. I only saw this provider because (at the time I made the appointment), he was the only provider I could see. If I could give a zero star I would. My boyfriend went to see Dr Kitt this last week. When he got home I asked, "what did Dr say?" To stay away from loud sounds and caffeine. You have got to be kidding me, what a joke! My bf has been dealing with pain in his neck for years. Neck is swollen and resembles a ping-pong size bump, that has only grown over the years. It causes pain, ringing in ears and sometimes a very bad headache. There was no physical examination and barely listened to what he had to say. No imaging done, no labs, no ultrasound. My husband was referred to this quack of a doctor. He has been having vertigo for a few months. This idiot made my husband sign a piece of paper BEFORE he was even going to be seen about vertigo telling him it may not even being something he could treat. Then my husband proceeds to see this guy. He told my husband that with all the medical problems he has has, his is in the body of a 100 year old man. Now, I understand my husband has medical issues, but he has only been dealing with vertigo for a few months. I would not recommend going to this man ever. His bedside manner is pure trash!!!! We have been his patients for a long time now. He constantly declined to really take proactive steps to make sure his patient got hearing aids and got treatment for a number of breathing related issues. Every. Single. Time. We walked in there he would have his staff simply lavage( wash out) both ears like it was routine then have us return back to have the same rinse n repeat treatment. This went on for a few years. When you need him his impossible to get a hold off. We finally had it when hearing loss simply got worse and all he'd say his oh it's age related and begrudgingly had his staff do a hearing test. Why would you advise your patient to not wear hearing aids out of "option". Ridiculous. We decided to go to dr Dell Rey and it was literally a night and day diff. Office is clean, updated and high tech. Everything is modern and brand new looking. The dr there came in, took time to sit and have a conversation, ask questions etc. Kit simply walked in, stuck his tool in the ear then walked out like he was doing us a favor. No wonder his ratings are so low. Look up Del Rey's ratings. Almost 5 stars for a reason. This guy listened and ordered important essential tests to get down to why breathing issues were happening. Talk about breath of fresh air. We also are now officially getting fitted for hearing aids. Stay away from kits office for your own health and sanity. He's not worth it. read more

After visiting the ER twice in a week I was told to follow up with an ENT which prompted me to call an make an appointment. Earliest I could get in was eight days later. When I arrived he immediately tells me there is nothing wrong with me and that he couldn't do anything to help. Tried to explain the reason for the visit but he was not willing to listen. Before performing any physical assessment or asking questions he had already decided he wasn't going to help. If you are in need of an ENT or referred to his office DO NOT choose this office. I read tons of bad reviews! And let me tell you he is an amazing doctor, my son was screaming while he was checking his ears, and was being super loud while he was explaining everything to us! He said it's okay, he can make noise, it doesn't bother me! He took his time and made sure we understood everything! We went in knowing absolutely nothing about his ears and now understand everything that's going on! And the part I love the most is he has the same view on avoiding tubes as I do! Dr Kitt was a new Dr to me. My first impression was he is all business, short and brief. There was a bit of a disconnect but first impressions are not always right. At this visit he was not very personable. But, after having a ct scan and a second visit he was much more Thorough on explanations of my symptoms and Recommended a surgery. I was very nervous and had a lot of questions, he was very patient with me explained the procedure and my options. I went ahead and set a date. I came back for the pre-op still nervous and he sat down with me again to explain and was patient and assured me everyone would be fine. This was a very routine surgery for him. Dr Kitt is very formal, but that is just his persona. Not to be taken any other way. He knows his business. He has been doing it for pretty much my entire life span. He does his surgeries traditional method-no lasers here. Anyways day of surgery is when he really shined. His persona was much more chipper. I believe he truly loves helping people, I could see It that day. He really made me feel like I was in good hands in hospital and even helped ease my Nervousness once again. He worked all day from early to evening with multiple surgeries. I was impressed with this endurance after such a long day I was 2nd to last at 6ish pm. He took all his older clients first - I think in his culture elderly are always first to be taken care of - us younger ones can wait it out. We have more time :) Even though I had to wait - I respected that. I left around 8pm after recovery. Also wanted to say that the staff at the hospital, when registering , all knew of Dr. Kitt and said that he has helped so many people and kids over many, many years having several surgeries a week. I really wish I had checked these reviews prior to visiting this doctor. I am absolutely shocked in the way I was treated. I have major inner ear issues that cause constant ear ringing, nausea and vertigo. I was so excited to see an ENT finally and could not believe how I was treated. First when he entered the room he checked in my nose and in my ear with the same instrument without changing the tip. I tried to tell me why I was there and especially pointing out that I get vertigo attacks that last all day. He started telling me that I need to sign a form and it will explain... the form had info about dizziness and vertigo and some excersises to do. He then left the room and the nurse came in and said the doctor wants me to take an hearing test. As I already knew I had hearing loss in my right ear. When he came back he told me that I needed to do the excersises on the form and it will get better. I was shocked as he said this in a condescending and dismissive way as my condition was made up. I then asked him how to prevent continued hearing loss and he said avoid loud noises! He could tell I was in complete shock and he started yelling at me that if I don't like his diagnosis to go somewhere else. I told him that I cannot believe that his diagnosis was to do some excersises and avoid loud noises when I am in so much pain. I cannot believe I was arguing with a professional doctor! I could go on and on, however this doctor should NOT have a practice. Many of my accounts are identical to many other reviews. I am going report him to the Medical Board as well as Consumer Affairs. My wife has an ear infection. She was referred to Dr. Kitt for treatment. He cleaned out her ear and told her to put Tinactin Athlete's Foot powder in her ear. Concerned, we called Tinactin to see if it was safe to use their product in one's ear. Well, we never got an answer rather they said they could not recommend any other use other than for athlete's foot. Never heard of putting athlete's foot powder in your ear. In checking the internet, we could not find anything on the subject. So, for us, Dr. Kitt's cure was nothing more than voodoo medicine. We are trying to find another ear doctor to prescribe a more modern cure rather than foot powder for an ear infection. As a follow up to my post, my wife went to another doctor this morning to get a second opinion. The doctor said he had never heard of such a thing as using Tinactin Athlete's powder to cure an ear infection. I don't know, we all rely on doctors to treat us with the proper medicines but in this case, I really feel this doctor needs to rethink his recommendations and we feel telling my wife to use athlete foot powder was dangerous at a minimum. We will certainly NEVER go back to Dr. Kitt. 11/15/18 Today, my wife had another visit with our primary doctor. She has been unable to hear out of her one ear since Dr. Kitt treatment. Her ear was flushed out and all the white junk from the Tinactin foot powder came out of the ear. Finally, after several weeks she can now hear clearly again. I just hope she does not have a permanent hearing loss due to Dr. Kitt's treatment. If so, we may take legal action. Dr.Kitt is extremely rude. I went in for chronic sinusitis. All CT scans were faxed to him ahead of time clearly indicating the problem. Upon my arrival, I provided physical documentation and images of CT scans and primary care notes indicating that if fact I had chronic sinusitis. The day of my appointment I arrived 30 minutes early to fill out new patient paperwork. The front girl was rude. I walked to her desk and she did not greet me instead I had to say, "hi, I have an appointment today" without even making contact she said sign in. I'm sure she's just miserable at her job. When I was taken to the room, the wait time before seeing Dr.Kitt was reasonable. Dr.Kitt walked in and asked what was the reason for my appointment . I explained my issue and handed him my medical records. He immediately said he couldn't help me and proceeded to say there was nothing wrong with my sinuses . I explain to Dr.Kitt my symptoms and asked him to look at the 4 CT scans I brought to the appointment. Again, he said there was nothing he can do for me and to take Claritin . Prick ! By the way. The consultations lasted about 5 minutes . The whole time Dr.Kitt was so rude ! I ended up walking out because of his smart remarks and rude tone. read more

Dr. Kitt saw my 4 year old because my son has something lodged in each ear. He and his staff were short and rude. He spent less than 5 minutes with us and decided on surgery. When I returned for our pre-op appointment, he said only a few words, listened to his breathing and told me to take him to the hospital for the rest of the pre op paperwork. It was so rude and unprofessional. At the hospital, he didn't even come out after the surgery to tell me what happened or anything. I don't understand how a doctor can be so rude. My son is 4 years old; I would think a doctor could have some respect for patient care and discuss the procedure with the parent. I just had a visit with Dr. Kitt. I was pleasantly surprised initially with the highlighted note in the new patient packet that encouraged patients to ask lots of questions and that He did not want anyone to leave with any doubt in their minds/unanswered questions. I thought, awesome! The patient's concerns are their concerns and he has a patient and ready ear. What actually happened was the exact opposite. I described what my concerns were and he began describing what may be the problem causing it. So, I began asking questions based on the amount of time my problem has been around and just different specific concerns (different questions that I've pondered over months now). He kept interrupting me and asking me, "are you a doctor?" as if I was trying to tell him he was wrong in his diagnosis, when really I just wanted to ask more questions and inform him of my experience to give him more insight as well as leave with peace of mind that I had "no doubt," or any "unanswered questions," which was what was encouraged in the paperwork. I literally had to explain to him that I heard what he was saying and that I was asking different questions and just trying to understand. He was impatient, cut me off multiple times, and finally answered one of my main questions when he shut his mouth long enough to listen to what I was actually communicating. I'm sure being a later appointment, he is tired and maybe over the day, but my goodness, if someone is a doctor, they need to understand people are coming in because something is WRONG with their body. They are already in a vulnerable position, don't know what's going on, and are probably nervous. He kept telling me that I was repeating myself and kept asking "are you a doctor?" VERY BELITTLING, as I was just trying to understand and clarify what he had said to me and gain more understanding. I think he spent less than 10 minutes with me too, so its not like I was there long, taking up a bunch of time. I'm really disappointed. I don't feel at ease or like I was cared for as a human being and that I had to fight to even ask a question. My experience was horrible and I will not be returning. I'll also add that I've never left a bad review for any business even if I didn't have the best experience. This was just exceptionally disappointing and I believe if anyone wants to be in the medical field where people are coming in with a concern for their physical bodies, they need to have some concept of human interpersonal skills. Worst Doctor Ever! Do not come to him, he has no symapthy for anyone same as his staff!!! I decided to have my tonsils taken out and was referred to doctor Kitt, everything was fine till the day of the surgery. He was behind the whole day, said there would be pain but not excruciating pain! A couple days before my pain medication ran out, I called about getting a refill for it which he denied and said to take something over the count, which I did and completely backfailed on me because it burned my whole mouth and throat. No leading up to my appointment, the day before I was admitted to the Emergency Room because the pain and swelling was intolerable which was mentioned to him over and over. Now upon arriving to his office for an appointment, I was not acknowledged or greeted in any shape or form, but as soon as I was in the room, I tried to show him my ER papers and tell him the reason why but he completely shut me up and continued to soeak over me about how he hates whiners and this is why he hates doing this procedure on people who don't listen,etc. Reminder everything would have been okay if he would've just given me more pain medication to tolerate the swelling and pain in order to eat or drink something which I haven't in a week.
