I even had a venue say "hey you do a lot of weddings here and we love you and you can have the venue for free". We still chose Victoria in the Park for Nov 15,2025. Why? Everything is perfection there, the food is out of this world, steak is like from a steak house downtown restaurant, customer service is impactable, everyone is courteous and smiling and attentive to your guests. We had our venue manager leave about 6 months leading up to the wedding and we were devastated but Lucy picked up and took over and did not skip a beat. Clear communication even on her day off, accommodating just a dream overall. Our guests had the best experience and so did our daughter and her husband. The overall look of the venue is stunning and so gorgeous to begin with. The day was 100% Gorgeous from start to finish. I would do it again in a heart beat, WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!! read more

LOVE!!! I booked my wedding at Victoria in the Park and had a wonderful experience! We had our reception there 7/10/21. Our wedding coordinator Lucy was absolutely amazing and made sure we had the perfect wedding. We had 200+ people attend and they raved about how great of a time they had. Lucy made sure we didn't forget any details and helped us with everything along the way. She was available at any time of the day or night (I planned this wedding from Japan) and she was so flexible with us. She made the entire wedding planning process so easy. The day of I had some minor changes and she was right on it without any hesitation. She also kept us on schedule and truly made our special day perfect. The venue itself is unbelievable! The bar and cocktail area upstairs is huge and has an outdoor patio and even a pool table. There is an upstairs bridal suite and a separate grooms suite. I got ready in the morning with my bridal party (9 girls) and we had plenty of room. We also included their continental breakfast and mimosas while we were having our hair and makeup done. It was well worth it. The staircase going down to the main room is breathtaking. It overlooks the dance floor and the tables where the guests sit. The all around glass windows in the main room truly made us book this venue. It's so beautiful!! The bar downstairs was gorgeous and also huge so all the guests were able to order and not feel cramped. The food was so delicious and our guests raved about it. We also decided to include the banana foster dessert and so glad we did. It was such a hit and the performance was outstanding, I highly recommend. We also decided to open up the Cognac Room and our guests enjoyed that as well. The staff was awesome and so polite. They made sure they were attending to everyones needs. They did wear masks (due to covid) and we felt very safe throughout the night. This was truly an awesome and beautiful venue, if you're searching for a wedding spot we highly recommend. The wedding venue is oddly shaped and kind of small. I looked at it 11 years ago because everyone wanted me to get married there. I'm so glad I picked The Belvedere. After attending a wedding here, the bartenders were pretty rude. They purposely dropped a beer that I was getting for my husband and refused to give me another one. We didn't stay very long. The place looks really nice and the sales associates do a really well job selling the ambience. My prayers go out to anyone who reserves this hall in the near future with the same management. By far the worst manager I have ever encountered! I would rather deal with TMobile or Xfinity and be put on hold for hours than to deal with Wanda a heartless individual that doesn't value the brides and grooms special night. Lucy D was our saving grace. We had a different venue booked for our wedding, but when we went to see it (we live in CO) we absolutely hated it. THREE months out, the day before Christmas I was frantically calling several places. Lucy answered and she just had the best attitude. She even started giving us estimated prices while she was picking up her family's Christmas ham! We went to see the venue shortly after that phone call, and immediately booked it. Lucy was so responsive and helpful from day one. The venue itself is just absolutely breathtaking. The upstairs cocktail area is massive! They have a bar upstairs, several tables, a pool table area, and several, several personal bathrooms. Upstairs there is also two rooms; a bridal suite that has one room to get dressed and another for hair and makeup, and a groomsmen room as well. It's truly amazing when you want just one place to have everything done. If you have lots of older family members or friends, they have elevators to accommodate. The grand stair case and the ballroom are other breathtaking areas and characteristics. Our guests were obsessed. They offer champagne and strawberries for guest when they walk in, cake made through the venue, and they offer a bananas foster to get the party started. Bananas foster was the way to get the party started without a doubt. I would also like to point out that the staff there was amazing. We could not have been happier with how helpful and attentive they were to us, and our guests. Big thank you to Jordan and Dennis and the rest of the staff as well! Well, this was my first venue choice for our wedding in 2022. I have tried many times to get a response from someone with no luck. Three weeks ago I finally got a woman on the phone who took down my information and said someone would call back, still waiting. Today I called their sister venue and got a hold of a very nice lady who assured me someone would call me today after they got out of their meeting at 12:15 p.m. My mom told me to check out the yelp reviews because they were horrible and recent. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience with Victoria in the Park (VIP). I'd like to preface by saying that I work in event planning myself. I have for many years, which provides me with extra insight and appreciation for the work VIP did. I've worked with poor vendors, and I know how much that can tarnish an experience which is why when I work with a truly wonderful vendor, they stand out. I partnered with Lucy for my wedding - she was professional, fun to work with and it was very evident that she would and wanted to do everything she could to give her clients the best experience possible. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and would recommend her to all. I was married seven months ago but waited until I received my professional photos to write my review (hoping to include some) - in this time we STILL have guests reaching out to us saying how much they enjoyed our wedding. We had roughly 300 guests and my husband and I are often told how our wedding was one of, if not the best wedding our guests have been to. We had one couple compare our wedding to being on a cruise which we got a big kick out of haha. I attribute that a lot to VIP. The venue offers a unique experience for guests - cocktail hour upstairs, later ushered down a beautiful stairway to reveal the grand ballroom, the wine parade to start the dinner, the bananas foster performance to conclude the meal and open the dance floor - all these little experiences add up and set VIP apart to make for a memorable night. We had the cognac room open as well for guests which from what we've heard, they really enjoyed. We also used the cognac room with our bridal party for a pre-reception toast and it made for a fun experience and great pictures. In addition to the reception at VIP, I also got ready with my bridal party at VIP that morning. Lucy was kind enough to allow my dog to come and get ready with us which meant a lot to me (again with those little touches!). The venue was perfect for the morning of - the staff set out breakfast, mimosas, coffee, etc. The bridal suite is lovely and was the ideal spot for hair & makeup. I had 14 bridesmaids, 4 flower girls, my mother, a friend who came to help with my dog, my photographer, and my videographer all there. There was never a time where we felt cramped or overwhelmed in the space. Not to mention all the pictures that we took there that morning turned out wonderful. I had my dad come and we had our first look on the staircase. I could go on. I'll end with this last point though. I wasn't crazy with how my flowers came out. The flowers are unrelated to VIP - but what is related to VIP is that even with the disappointment I felt in my arrangements, I still felt that the venue looked wonderful. The pictures are still very pretty and everyone in attendance raved about how gorgeous everything looked. That is because the venue is an impressive space all in its own. I met with and researched a lot of venues before landing on VIP and I am 100% confident that I made the right decision. This venues coordinator Lucy, is verbally abusive and abrasive. Not only yelling me, but the DJ as well. The sales manger is equally abrasive and even stated, that's not my job but I guess I gotta do what I can during these times. The venue is dirty! The bartender even yelled at me for asking for a soda, as I was not drinking alcohol. The rudest staff I have ever met! Large amounts of food and old decor left on floor and hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Decor is dated and dirty. The only positive thing I can say, is Rosie the culinary supervisor is amazing and helpful. The venue staff will not help you with any set up or take down of decor, brides beware, you will need to hire extra help with the set up and clean up. The food...... not great! I sent an initial inquiry on 6/4/13 after no response on 6/25/13 I sent an second e-mail directly to (info@victoriagroupinc.com) still no response! I was so bummed that no one from VIP even bothered to get back to me on my request for more information. Heck, it's been over 6 months and they still haven't even gotten back to me! Ultimately we decided to look elsewhere for a reception venue because if there is this big of a lack of communication to prospects (who are literally trying to spend THOUSANDS of dollars at your establishment) I can only imagine how poor the communication will be once they have your money. read more

PROS: - Clean facilities - Above average food - Nice bridal rooms CONS: - They printed the wrong wedding date on the menu cards for all 500 guests. This is for Victoria's Livery services only. As MOH for my sister's wedding, I was charged with planning a bachelorette party that would make her happy! That meant a trolley or party bus, strippers, alcohol, and ending the night with tacos. After searching Yelp for trolley places and contacting all of them, none were available. Drat! I went on theknot.com and found Flying Lady Livery, which is party of the Victoria Banquet group. I'd called about 10 other places that either were not available or were not flexible with the times that I needed to rent the trolley due to tight scheduling (boo on me for waiting last minute ish! in the summer! when everyone needs a trolley! silly!), and this was the second to last one on my list. I was really glad that I called! Victoria was able to provide me with a trolley at the time I needed, and when I told them that I was planning a bachelorette party they were super flexible with the time, and made a point to include ice and cups in the trolley (and they also offered some advice about drinks, too! Didn't wind up making jello shots but it was a fun time). We wound up having to extend the trolley and the driver was really nice about that, as well as being extremely professional in general. My sister enjoyed the trolley so much that she booked them for the day of the ceremony. Although the groomsmen had to towel off the trolley due to rain (The trolley used was a bit messy from a party before hand), it was pretty easy to do and neither the bride nor anyone in the bridal party had any mess on their dress. The trolley also had windows that we were able to get closed, which was a godsend since the entire day of the wedding it was pouring down rain. I would recommend the Livery services for parties, most definitely, as well as special occasions. The only caveat I would say would be to add something to the contract for extra special occasions like weddings to ensure that the trolley is immaculate on your special day. read more

When we went they sat probably 175 people and there was room to spare. The waitstaff were polite and overall the food was good. However, I don't think they know what a vegetarian is, maybe due to my friend's food choices. Literally when I said "my date is a vegetarian do you have any vegetarian option for the menu choices?" they looked at us like we were insane. I mean hey, they don't have to bend over backwards, but they did accommodate. Place was clean and well kept, and has an awesome view of a little lake in front of it. I had my wedding at the Victoria Rosemont location and I can honestly say all the planning with Victoria's event managers proved useless. I had issues with poor communication for the entire year leading up to my wedding where the banquet manager would either take weeks to reply or she would not reply at all for a simple question. Even after going over the schedule 100 times and the details 100 times, I still had the banquet manager coming up to me DURING my event asking me the same questions we went over. The food was cold, the cake was gross, and my cake topper was stolen by some kids because the banquet manager left it sitting somewhere near the stairwell after she took it off the cake. After the salad and soup was served, my guests were waiting more than 15 minutes for the entrees because they only had two people serving and two people clearing the tables for the ENTIRE banquet hall of 250 guests. We had a top shelf open bar but only domestic beer was served so I had to buy an additional $500 worth of imported beer on my own and bring it so clearly their bar needs updating especially if I'm paying for top-self. Also, we had an additional table for a late snack where we bought all the plates, forks, and food and awkwardly they had the plastic plates and forks were sitting on the table during the event. It ruined the elegance of the entrance with the place cards, champagne table with the random empty table with plastic plates sitting there. Even though I was told that would be brought out with the food later on in the night. If I could do it all again, I would not have my wedding with Victoria banquets. read more

I just had my wedding here last week and could not have made a better choice. The venue is gorgeous with the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a large pond/fountain. There is a stairway that goes down which makes for a grand entrance. The food is delicious as well as it is made to order (not made earlier in the day). Once the guest is eating their soup, they will ask what they would like to eat from a choice of chicken, steak and fish (sea bass!! yum!) I don't know how they do it, but they were able to whip out 300 plus meals. They also let us bring in our own food which was nice as we wanted to incorporate Asian food in our menu. The planning process went well and they were very accommodating. The day of there were a few minor mishaps, but they were quick to fix them. We opted to have music during our cocktail hour played through our iPod. Their speakers were not good at all. Not sure if they were just having issues that day, but I would suggest doing a trial run first if you opt to go that route. The service there is excellent as well from the waiters and bartenders. Also a 6-hour open FULL bar. They also recommended a lighting company that did uplighting for us at a very reasonable rate. The lights really softened up the room and it turned out beautiful.
